    I’ve been using this technique for years it was the first way I ever learned how to wire wrap I’ve also used headpins in the same way ❤️

    What a great teacher you are! There are a lot of options with using the square wire with this. It could be twisted before bending the angles to get a spiral effect.

    Hi. I really appreciate your different wrapping. It has a lovely elegance to the wrap, not being straight but tilted on an angle. I'm going to try this. I've only begun wire wrapping rosaries 1 month ago

    Everything about this video was cool the only thing that caught my attention was that if someone wraps the wire too close to the bead, the bead may crack with wear. Very good techniques otherwise. Thank you.

    As always, another great tutorial. If you don't mind me asking. What camera do you use?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 роки тому

      In this video I am using Cannon Vixia HF20, it was 11 years old so ended up dying, so now in my most recent videos I am using new camera Panasonic HC-WXF1M but it is honestly not as good for some reason.

    if I wanted to connect one beaded chain link to another (or a just a chain), I would leave one side open, and then slip on the other beaded chain link or chain and then close it off? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m still new to this technique :))

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 роки тому

      yes, exactly, that's how you'd do it

    How big was the hole of the bead ?

  • @Majixsn
    @Majixsn 10 місяців тому

    How do you do this with two beads with 2 different center hole diameters while keeping it looking pretty consistent? I bought a string of black beads and marbled orange/white beads and the orange/white beads have a bigger center and when I make the loop with the wrap, it just slides past the wrap to the base of the loop while the black bead sits against the wrap away from the loop and not covering it like the other does. I wanted to make a Halloween themed bracelet but I was trying to make both beads' links look the same. Any ideas?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  10 місяців тому

      Maybe you can use different thickness of wire for each size of the beads?

  • @dawn8542
    @dawn8542 3 роки тому

    After 5 times I give up. My first one looks good. Can't figure out which direction to go on the second one and also, my bead gets in the way of the wrap.

      just 20 gauge round craft store wire, it will be great for practice and I have several tutorials that use it

    Where is the video showing how to hook these together?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 роки тому

      To hook these together what you would do is once you are almost done with you 2nd link and you've made the last loop on it and are about to close up that loop, you'd put your first link through that loop before closing it up
