I like this style where you're interacting with someone (your wife) and teaching them about the process and terminology instead of just talking to the camera.
"Do you want me to call you daddy" that line killed me🤣🤣. She is hilarious!!
Your channel is underrated. In the past year this has become my favorite UA-cam channel. Keep at it, you'll be at a million subs in no time.
Wow, thank you!
The real magic is how you both manage to do all this with the little ones!
We would love your feedback on our channel!!
"Sometimes it's a tight maneuver, but boy is that meant to go in!" 😂🤣🤣🤣
We are currently renovating a house we just bought with my wife and your videos are really useful, but the one thing from You, that helps in the hardest times is a quote from one or your earlier videos: "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.". Your work keeps up our spirit. Thank You!!!
I’m only half way through the video & I have already learned so much!! Not to mention, I love seeing the Mr. & Mrs. dynamics!! Thanks for the tips & keeping us entertained as well!! 👍🏼🖤
Our pleasure!
He says his goggles weren't with him...but they were on top of his head LOL. Really fun to watch you two working together!
How nice is it to see you both working on a job together. Very sweet you two.
I think Irina was the special sauce we were missing that we didn't even know we were missing! lol.. You guys are awesome together. Great job, guys
Everytime i see someone start a project I’m always like “i can do this” and then after another 5 minutes I’m like “i can’t do this and i can’t afford to pay someone to do all this work” 😂
I love how your kids basically grew up in a construction zone 😂 They’re going to love building and probably take after you both for sure!
I love how wonderful and patient you are with her! You are an excellent teacher. No talking down... thanks for being great! 😊
I've never understood why bathrooms open up to kitchens....just insane. Glad you're fixing that!
In my country i think its not even allowed.
@@themplar there’s a good reason for that. When you do your business, literal physical ”fairy dust” particles go in the air and spread out all over. I don’t think you want that where you eat. I’m always disgusted when people leave their toothbrush in the bathroom with no sort of protection or case.
@@andydrew3320 Didnt think about that but yeah i think i heared that way back too.
Glad i dont have my toilet in my bathroom. Always found that strange to begin with. Never thought about the combination with a toothbrush.
BEST VIDEOS YET!! The slowed down tempo is perfect!! Actually learned stuff about plumbing.
Oh, you can look at the ceiling joist in the attic to see which partitions ( interior walls) are the supporting partitions. The rafters will also let you know which way the supporting wall run.
Another great Video , the house is coming along nicely , great to see mrs build its confidence grow in each video , what I will say is UA-cam never notified me of this when you uploaded unsure if anyone else is the same , by the end of the year you surely need to be at a Million subscribers surely !! Everyone should share with like minded ppl , all the best as always
13:10 quick tip turn the pex cutter around with the blade downwards and dont cut all the way through at first. that way the liquids will trickle down in your pan or whatever you use instead of going everywhere
Thanks for this tip. About to cut into my kitchen hot water and was wondering how i'm not going to make a mess.
I've recently started tackling some DIY project that are long over due. I went onto you tube to see how to accomplish these tracks and I came across your channel... I love ❤️ your channel. I have to say I'm shocked this is a you tube channel and not an HGTV home improvement show. Your content and producing is spot on. You and your team are doing great work, keep it up!
I’ve been watching tons of videos because I’m renovating my entire home my husband and I don’t have a clue on such a big job so we will hire someone but these videos gives me great ideas and information
We just purchased an older home and we're both remodel illiterate, this is gold.
You: "You almost took a swing at my organs."
Her: "That's ok, your life insurance is paid up."
I love seeing you both working together
Loved seeing the two of you working together!
CHECK OUT THE TIMBER TEAM!!! WE LOVE THIS CHANNEL TOO!
OMG. You and Irina totally give off Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor and His assistant Heidi vibes!
"Do you want me to call you 'daddy'?".
Al: "I don't think so, Tim."
Mr and Mrs build it! Amazing duo! Can we have more like this!
I love when your lady is in videos. She makes them much funnier.
Use sound barrier insulation in between the walls for more privacy
I can't wait to see how you handle the sewer pipe that goes out the roof. Some people don't bother to move it 👀 (looking at boyfriend's dad) and you can just smell the sewer because the gas can't escape and others just take it out and don't bother to add one.
Can’t wait for the rest of the build man.
Thank you so much for doing this! I am relocating my shower, tub, and toilet into my master closet in the next few weeks. I am a DIY guy and this is my first time ever. Been following your awesome channel for a little while now! I am going to give you a shout out when I start posting my videos for my bathroom makeover. Keep it coming bro!
Looking good. Awesome that you two are doing this together :)
CHECK US OUT TOO IF YOU DONT MIND WE NEED SOME MORE FEEDBACK!
Would close the door off to kitchen and have it open from the hallway and put some soundproofing in the wall so u want hear anyone relieving themselves in the restroom
That was my first thought as well. It probably would’ve been less work since they wouldn’t have to move the toilet as far, repair the bed room closet, and they would get to keep the coat closet. But getting the powder room as far away from the kitchen as possible seems ideal.
Husband and wife goals
I look forward to watching your vids! You inspired me to start being more independent diy wise!
Excited to see how it turns out!!!!
I really appreciate the work you guys put into these videos. Keep up the good qork
Would you mind checking out our new video and subscribe if you like it??
Works just like it's supposed to 😊
Videos are great with you alone but somehow better with y’all together😀
The hardest part: Getting "help". But, it is entertaining.
That was fun AND entertaining! Great job 👏. Looking forward to the next video
Love that your wife is getting involved!! 🙌🙌
Actually those scrap boards in between the studs is called fire stops they are use to strengthen the wall and if there's a fire inside the wall from the bottom side it's meant to cut off oxygen flow from the top side to slow the fire or stop it and in vice versa
Bet he doesn't know they are not necessary for interior partitions. Unless separating required firebreaks
@@adrianrouse3619 true but it does stiffen the walls up
👍🏻👍🏻this powder room will look great 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
She's so cool really enjoyed the video
I've watched 2 very good videos of yours, keep up the good work.
I love your videos. I’m getting ready to finalize on a home that’s in need of a serious renovation and I’ve watched your videos from the very first one and learned a lot form them. Thank you.
You got this!
She was fun to watch, a Great team!!
Easiest floor demo ever!! LUCKY!
I love how you just go for it. Last time I had to break through some plaster board/dry wall I made this tiny hole and slowly moved outwards. Just slamming a hammer through it looks so much more fun and, if I didn't have back issues, kicking through it and running at it would be awesome!!! Having said that, the first time I EVER saw a section of wall removed, it was only after the ceiling started bowing downwards that our boss looked up in the loft and realised that the main water tanks were above the missing wall!!!! 😳 It was his own property so meh 😂👍👍👍👍
You have a lovely home, also your mrs, she's sweet and funny. Keep the videos coming. 👍👍
It's really cool to see you working with your Wife!
I think so too!
This was awesome.. keep up the great work!!
Thank you! Will do!
Love seeing wifey in the video!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Goals!
Now about that kitchen build off slap bet…
Please keep her on these videos omg I laughed the whole time! Male/female / twerking 🤣🤣🤣
Glad i stumbled upon your video abt relocating a toilet bc i actually wanna diy it but my question is did you guys tear up the concrete floor leading from original location to new bc i didn't see that part.
Damn, twelve foot studs!
Alex: "Look at my big wood!" 😂
Love the chemistry between you too!
4x4 gang back at it again!! 💪🏼
Hats off to you for still buying timber with prices so high
NEVER underestimate a good stud guard safety plate! You make ONE mistake of screwing through a water line behind a stud and you'll never go cheap on those bad boys again.
When is the next video coming out? We need the weekly uploads!!! Anticipation is killing me
I love you guys!
absolutely deserve the sub Bro!
Love watching you guys!
I, too, hate the sound when I scrape concrete. Lol.
Must be nice to pop tiles like that? Just spent a weekend ripping tiles, cement board, and underlayment from my kitchen floor. NIGHTMARE!!!
Darnit! I wanted the whole thing in one :P
This channel should be called, Mr Ill sponsor anything. Lol
Well home renos cost money, so might as well get it paid for. Otherwise videos would come out like every other month
Your work is alsome, keep up the good work and fun projects
hell yea let Momma help!
I love your videos
I would buy a shirt that says “you gotta break something to learn something”
*Bravo pour votre inspiration👏*
Fun video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Lavatory, laboratory same same lol
Serious question… When you removed the top plate from wall the joists above we’re running perpendicular to the top plate. Is that not a load bearing wall? I thought if the top plate is parallel to the joists it’s not load bearing.
Ugh... I can't be the only one that started watch the channel because he is attractive, now still here because it's pretty interesting. lol
Awesome vid. How did you relocate the toilet drain?
What application do you use to make your sketches???
Can’t believe you pried on porcelain with a metal pry bar 😂😂😂
Did you know that you can put insulation in walls between rooms to soundproof them? They do that in germany where no house flies away in a storm
I love watchin you guys.....how you liking the ryobi stuff? I just picked up the sds and hammer drill you were using. Cant wait to use them
You bust through the wall/door (or anything for that matter) with your leg first, you kick it in ...using a shoulder is a good way to make a trip to the ER :)
She low key has some hilarious jokes 😂
I see she knows the golden rule with anything that cuts. "Cut towards your buddy, not towards your body!" Either that or you've got one heck of a life insurance policy and she's testing you....
“Sometimes its a tight maneuver, but boy is that mean to go in” totally not youtube PG rated lol 😂😂😂
Hey i don't really know the difference between between pressure treated wood in America and Sweden. Same with all building directions. But yeah I'm a carpenter in Sweden and we can never put pressure treated wood inside because of the toxic fumes when closed in.. just a heads up.
Not only could they cause respiratory illnesses, but they could contribute to other health issues as well. Some of the other negative effects of these chemicals are skin reactions, eye irritation, and even cancer.
www.makefromwood.com/can-i-use-pressure-treated-lumber-inside-my-home/
Love you working together.
I love your videos. But I must of missed where your co worker went. Your wife is awesome.
Bro , I always break things and I never learn something , I learn I need to try again
How did you guys move the piping for the toilet over?
you fail man. dont you know your morale obligated to yell "O YEAAAAAAAH" at the top of your lungs when ever you physicaly break/walk though a wall? i mean come on man.. where is your pride! side note: i have to say i like the way this is going its fun to watch you and your wife working together hope you can keep this up.
Id totally buy a break something to learn something tshirt or a bandana.
So this is the reason why Randy Orton has been missing Raw
When are you getting size large (courage and sweat T-shirt) back in stock? :(
hi dear!
First!!! Thank you Alex
4:25. I did not knew that this type of sink is attached by glue and nail hangers.
Curious, what app are you using for your drawing around 7 mins?
