I thought about time stamps on my images. I didn't like it. It was distracting to the image.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of it either. Luckily, I figure out the settings have been changed within a day or two.

Your android should have some features to prevent it from turning on accidently. Not sure where these features are on your phone but scan the settings for either : Accidental touch protection Lift to wakeDouble tap to wake
I actually have all those on, but it double taps against my sweaty thigh enough to turn itself on.
