One thing this series always nails is the car sounds. FH5 made big strides but there's something about the sound from the chase cams that still sounds tinny and hissy, whereas Grid's cars just sound phenomenal in every camera position.
No Driveclub though...give us that open world Driveclub Sony, you know it makes sense.

@@DV-ou1yu I know, a lot of them went off and did Project Cars 3 apparently. Which...ain't great. It's decent, but nothing like the quality of Driveclub. Some decent sounds though.

i had a blast on grid 19 yeah it wasnt the best game ever but I loved getting in and doing time trials and beating all the story missions. i think this game will be much more dialed in than 19 so ill have some fun with it for sure!

Agreed, GT7 is a much much bigger game. tons of high quality cars, driving school and tons more. It just seems more worthwhile to pick up GT7 but of course if you don't have a PS4/PS5 then GRID Legends is great.

@@klockenberg2299 GT has improved massively with their own GR.3 and Gr.4 aspects and will probably oversell by triple to grid
I reccomend Assetto corsa competizione it's easily the best racing sim on consoles

Both are racing games less than a week apart, GRID has advantages and GT7 has advantages. There is no wrong in highlighting those

But yeah Grid Legends can't touch the level of perfection of GT7, I just think Gran Turismo 7 is gonna be the racing game of the year and maybe TDU Solar Crown will be too, if they don't make a lot of dlc content and if everything in the game is insane, just like older TDU games. I'm so excited for these racing games, finally some actual greatness! :D

I went back to GRID Autosport for a bit, playing it online, and the racing is so intense!
GRID Legends seems to have that and more.
I really hope it lives up to the hype and doesn’t feel weird to play after a few hours like the previous game.

Honestly, kind of reminds me of PJC3 (graphics wise) I wasn’t a fan of the last Grid title and the drift mechanics in this one seem weak… (NFS)

i dont think GT7 gonna be on pc, maybe 3-5 years later if sony decide to put it on pc. Even GT Sport still not on pc so i highly doubt they gonna put it on pc.

No customisation, gotta be a point for GT. No penalties of any kind for ramming people off the track, again, point for GT because rammers are the worst. Arcade racing, clearing a better game, but GT is more sim and more serious. Hard to compare them even if they are both racing games.

The one thing I never got on with in any of the Grid games was the physics. 2019 felt like a slightly updated Grid 1 in that respect and this looks the same. If there's a demo I'll try it out but if the physics are the same as they have been then ill pass on it.
That's exactly why I watched this video. Good games but those driving physics are a mess.

Don't tell lies, GRID and GT aren't close in simulation. Considering you cannot tune anything in GRID and Assetto Corsa Competitizione is 100% race cars. How exactly did you say your a fan of GT, when the two games you claim would fit you better are both missing things that make GT, GT? Bruh, no need to lie on the internet.

This looks like a big patch for Grid 2019 and I’m fine with that.

I think Grid Legends didn't have EA interference, but the next one will definitely get influenced by EA
So, these are 2 different games. GT7 (well all GT games) is a simulation game, GRID Legends isn't, it's more arcadish type/style. But, I'll give GRID it's props. It's good but not as good as Turismo.
There's no "better" game between the two. comes down to preference.
Still damn fun though.
