    Congrats being the 1st EUC to do 70 mph that I know of. I've done 66 mph (on my "Steering Fail" vid, same EB GT Pro wheel). I had to acquire better steering techniques going over 50 mph. Thanks for demo'ing it at 70mph. I had beeps at 65 that I only heard after from my video, probably just the final-speed-alarm setting since I wasn't going for a record ride. Since then I've kept it mostly under 60 and standing rather than seated. Thanks Sean!

    • @OWGAC
      @OWGAC  5 місяців тому +4

      the voltage warning kicked in after 66mph and I think the wheel was at 80% at 70mph, definitely near the edge of what it can do.

    • @reitze01
      @reitze01 5 місяців тому +1

      @@OWGAC Again thanks for doing that so I can ride with confidence at slower speeds. "Head room" is nice to have in a commuting wheel. I have 7 miles each way with most of it 40'ish mph riding. There is a 2 mile stretch where I can ride comfortably at 60 mph for a 50 mph speed limit 4-lane.

      So several months later Im noticing the market for EUCs doesn't seem to be the fastest wheels any more. Sure us long time expert riders love them... but your reviews of the other models are probably more of interest to noobs. PS: FWIW, in my 66 mph vid I had tilt-back set to kick in at 65 mph and thus the beeping I had in my vid. The EB GT Pro can do 70 like you demonstrated!

  • @EUCme

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! Speed frightens me, but I want a street wheel to replace my car. That said, 70 MPH tells me it's abundantly safe at 45 MPH, which is my expected high water mark. And then, you wrecked it for me. I live near rainy Seattle. 😢 Seriously, thank you, and you are a test-pilot.

      I "cruise" at 40-45mph on my Lynx and frequently go over 50, but like you that's my sweet spot. The new Sherman L maybe something you should look at.

    • @EUCme
      @EUCme 5 місяців тому +4

      @jordanestabrook4492 Thank you for sharing. I'm blessed to live in a time with so many options. Seven months ago I started with V5F. Helped my daughter get a V14 and I rode it and loved it. Waiting for my Extreme to arrive. But, now planning on a EUC replacing my car so I'm wanting a 20 or 22 inch wheel that will handle very wet conditions. I'll check out the Sherman. Be well.

      @@EUCmethis is why i like my v13. I can comfortably go 40 at any battery percentage with a full backpack on gentle hills.

      @Animalstyle69 I think your words will ultimately prove true. My fascination with this machine may be short-lived. I received my Extreme a week ago, and I'm easing my way into the surface street skills. My work is five miles away. @Animalstyle69 I have over 4000 miles of daily driving on my euc in the last 6 months.
      Its more than enough unless you need to do more than 20-30 miles one way at high speed.
      I literally only charge mine at work because I can get there with 80% still left after 8 miles of high speed riding.
      You'd be surprised just how much you can carry on an EUC as well. I can comfortably do about 30 lb of groceries before it gets a little much.

    If I had something like this, I’d be riding this more often than driving my car. This model looks like it has a saddle on it and I think it’s a cool idea to be able to sit on it while you’re cruising down the road. I also like the idea that it’s a speedy machine and I also like the fact that EUCs in general are portable, so I’m able to put it in my car and carry it to wherever I’d like to go and ride.

    What's the braking distance from 70mph?

    There are lots of heavy fast wheels now.
    I would like to see a Leaperkim wheel to compete with the KS S16 pro and the Begode Falcon but a bigger wheel than the Falcon. 15 or 20 LBS less than the Patton.

      @JonahOnEUC you think so??
      I've seen the speed trackers on my roads showing I'm going 3 MPH slower than what my speedometer says on the display. Both on my Sherman S and EX30... I I'm assuming all wheels suffer from the same thing. Just my experience...

      @@EUCTroll it's a percentage and it's different from wheel to wheel. Also depends on what tyre you got on.
