I can't understand why I've only just spotted these recordings opf David with Kelly. Thank you for them. I saw these two together. David is an exceptional Phantom and it was an absolute treat to see him in Sunset a few times recently. And another Olivier nomination today. Utterly brilliant.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interpretation. There was a short "dissonance" with the Phantom early on (at 0:37) but the rest of the scene was very well done. Bravo et Brava!

Honestly, I know little about David and his career…but i do know this-one of the strongest voices i’ve heard in the role. A+
His mix voice is heavenly yet so powerful!!
