- Use your scraps to make cute identifier tags for your luggage, or just tie them to a craft bag or add them to a special gift. You can use any scraps you have, but I've used some beautiful pieces from Bazaar Scrap Bundles, see link below.

Such a sweet little scrappy project Annie. Another idea is to make Christmas tags to hang on the tree and you can also put a little card inside if you make them as a pouch. Made something different but along the lines last Christmas and hoping to make some more this Christmas too. The cheery Indian fabrics would be great for that too. Cheers, Christine
Thanks Christine, that is a great idea, they could easily be made to fit a gift card or hold a couple of chocolate coins :)
Beautiful idea. I love it. Thank you for sharing.😊
Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a nice comment! 😊
Love this project ❤️
Thanks Rhonda - I'm really looking forward to seeing what others may do with the idea :)
Brilliant brilliant AGAIN Annie you are amazing!!! Can’t wait to dip into my bazaar bundles and make Tags for all the family’s cases . Definitely be eye catching when our cases are coming around the carousel at the airport 🎉. Another fantastic idea from Annie’s craft room. ❤️❤️❤️
Yay! Thank you Lisa, I'm so happy you like the idea - your family's suitcases will be the stars of the carousel! Please share some pics if you can, I'd love to see :)

@@artyfartyannie Look forward to it! 😁😊
you've come up with the cutest ideas
Thank you Carolyn that's very kind of you to say :)
OMG, your weather was just like ours today in Central Oregon. Windy, cold (didn't get to 52 degrees), cloudy. I''m having hot chocolate right now. Of course, it'll be in the mid-80s - that's the high desert for you.
Weird isn't it? Honestly if I was judging the time of year ust by looking outside right now, I'd guess October, not June! :)
What a lovely idea, thank you for sharing xx ❤
Great idea, I have black luggage, and I put some pink ribbons on that I got over the yrs from what the florist used to tie on my bouquets. 😊😊 I could see them coming g down the conveyer without any problems. 😊
Aha yes mine used to have ribbons tied to the handles, and a big A in brightly-coloured duct tape worked well too! :)
What an absolutely lovely vlog ❤️❤️❤️
Ah thank you so much Clare, I really appreciate that, glad you enjoyed it :)
Fantastic Annie! I love them all but particularly the rustic one😀💕
Thanks so much Liz! 😊
Love the tags...when I saw you stitching a C, I got excited 😂...I'm thinking of doing a smaller one to attach to my sketchbook cover 😊
Thanks Claire - and that's a great idea, you could keep your eraser in it maybe :)
Excellent ANNIE, What a great idea.
Thank you Kristy! 😊
These are so cute what a great idea I think my favourite is the smallest one love the colours. ❤❤
Thank you very much Jan - you could make dinky ones for your scissors and suchlike as well :)
Enjoying your channel ❤
Thank youvery much, that makes me happy! :)
Just discovered your channel, and literally subscribed because your background looks SO COZY and sweet! (Also because the project seems like a fun one!)
Ah thank you so much Jenny for the lovely comment and for subbing - it is my favourite place to be (very cosy indeed at the moment, only just room for me in there! ) :)
those are beautiful. what a great idea.
Thanks Marie! :)
Lovely day here today. Got a yummy lemon and honey drink, got comfy and un next thing I knew finished tags! These look great um might need to rewatch, don’t know what happened. Aww love the one with eyelets was thinking a little bigger have a twenty dollar note on would be great as a tag on a prezzy, yep me I’m thinking Christmas. Great video. Wish your voice wasn’t so soothing you put me to sleep 💤.
hehe happy to be your human lemon and honey drink Paula and you probably needed to catch up on some sleep. Great idea to make them to fit some cash in or a gift card to go on a gift, might do some more to use that way. Hope Mum LIster and all of you are doing ok xo
Just beautiful ❤
Thank you Christine! 😊
Love the tags Annie just beautiful. x 💐
Thank you very much Jen, I'm reallyhappy you like them :)
That was great Annie do another one any length of video I’ll watch 😂
hehe thanks Isobel - I'm always so wary of going on for too long, thanks for the vote of confidence! :) xo
@@artyfartyannie you’re my bedtime story never long enough 😂
What a cool idea when I used to go to workshops I had a plastic tag on my scissors etc but this is a far nicer way to. Identify things xxc
Thanks Jacquie - yea they'd be fun in all shapes and sizes as identifiers wouldn't they? :)
Really lovely idea Annie ❤
Thank you Gillian! 😊
New subscriber. I am getting a little gift package ready and now I just found one more thing to make to add in. Thank you. I look forward to giving it a go in a couple of days.
Thanks for subbing Denise, I really appreciate it. I'm glad you found the video inspiring, a handstitched tag will be a lovely addition to a special gift, I'm sure the recipient will love it :)
❤ TFS, great job!
Thanks for watching Kellie, I'm happy you like them :)
Lovely idea. I think I may just have to make some❤ Thank you for sharing such a lovely little project. Ideal for getting something done in one wintry afternoon, in the South.
Thank you Fatima - yes the idea behind all of these small projects is that you could sit and make them in one session, as you say, perfect for a wintry afternoon ... in June!! :D If you make some, please do share some pics in the FB group or Discord community (links in the description if you haven't joined yet) xo
@@artyfartyannie Will do. Yes, I am sure that its difficult to imagine when you are having lovely summer weather in the north, the south is having winter.😀
@@FatimaD9 hehe yes it's always strange the difference in the seasons, but in this case I meant it literally - the weather here really is wintry still, rain, winds, cloudy, only 17degrees today, and it's almost midsummer for us, very strange this year :)
@@artyfartyannie Aah. Same here with the strange weather. It only got wintry cold this week. Last week we still had warm weather when it should have been much colder.
I'm in Lake County, CA, USA. 101 degrees. I'd love some of your summer weather. I wish the Bazaar shop would sell to us over here.
Ah yes I can see what you mean, not sure what that is in centigrade, but it sounds HOT! It would be nice to have a bit of sunshine here though, and maybe a bit less of the chilly wind and rain by the time we reach midsummers day :)
Bazaar do sell to the US, I know lots of people have had scrap packs delivered there and they've been very happy with them - although of course the postage will cost more. If you try to order in the usual way, they system won't allow it to go through, so if you would like to order, you need to email them, telling them what you would like and where you are, then they will quote you for postage and if you're happy, they will send you a PayPal invoice. Hope that helps :)
Thank you Annie for your video. I have decided I really need some sleep. I opened this video thinking my goodness how to you stitch on tea bags you are really pushing the boat out. I love the tags but I either need to read more slowly or be more awake.😂😂
hehehe thanks for the giggle Carol - and now you've got me thinking about teabags .... :)
Muy lindas 😍😍
Muchas gracias! :) xo
Your ideas are cool how big please
Thank you very much, I'm glad you like them :) I didn't measure, just guesstimated, I don't think the size is crucial and the sizes/shapes were largely governed by the size of scraps I had to work with, but as a rough guide I would say around 7 x 10 cm or 3 x 4 inches or a bit bigger - you want them to stand out, especially if they're going to be used to identify luggage from a distance. Have fun and if you make some I'd love to see picutres! :)
Instead of home address, my luggage tag has my email, cell phone number and my last name on a laminated cardstock. 🍄🍄
That's a good idea, great tip to laminate them too, thanks :)
