- For Father's Day, I made a special video telling my dad how much he means to me. I wish I could celebrate the day with him! I also give a special thanks to Shaycarl! This woman is the strongest women i have ever seen. she has such a big heart and shows everyone love. she is my role model and someday i wish i can live the path that she chose.

Colette, what's so incredible is watching the little man that Sontard is growing up to be. I cried so much while watching this. I lost my mother when I was 13, and my dad hasn't been in my life much at all since I was 4. Luckily, I have my grandpa, and you made me realize how much he has done for me. Now, I'm in love with a wonderful man. My grandpa showed me what a true man is. I am also convinced that my mom has been guiding me from Heaven. Parents and grandparents are a blessing.

Usually I'm OK with seeing people cry, but with Colette it hits so much harder because of how genuine she is
I'm sure your dad will really appreciate this.
The same way you were lucky to have such a loving father, that has passed onto you with your kids. Just one example, the other night when you stayed up to listen out for little Rocktard then sang to him "Baby Mine" shows how much of a loving mother you are.

That was beautiful Colette. Made me choke up a bit. I lost my dad 9/11/01 I can even begin to tell you how much i love and cherish my dad. He was amazing and my dad and best friend.

I feel the same way about my Mum. She made a kickass Dad for the past 13 years. I was devastated when my Dad died, but I am so grateful.

My father left my mom and I when I was younger. Since I didn't have a father growing up, I always give my mother something and take her out on Father's Day because she played both roles. You are so blessed, Colette. xo

This made me cry, I lost my dad last year and every day since then I'd wake up and hope he was there to give me my daily hug and kiss
I feel the same way about my father. He raised my brother and me as a single parent since I was 3. I'm 21 now about to turn 22 and he is still to this day always there for me. I haven't cried this hard in a while thank you Mommytard for sharing this with us!

I love how you put out your Father took the role of your Mother in absence, because my Father died when I was 6 yrs. old and now over the pass 8 yrs. my Mom has done the same.

I cry every Fathers day because of my love for my father is so great. He is a true giver who gives so much of himself. He gives to the poor and he is poor himself. But Rich with Love and Respect.
I'm glad there are ppl that get to have dads in their lives that exhibit quality relationships with their sons & daughters. It does my heart good to know that good dads do exist, even if I didn't get to experience that kind of quality in my own dad.

Another beautiful video, Colette! :) My dad served 25 years in the British Army and I'm so grateful for all he's done for my mother, brother & I and also the risks he took to protect others :) Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there :)

I lost my Dad 10 years ago to cancer. I visit his grave site every Father's Day. This video makes me grateful for the memories I have of my Dad.

Thank you for being so open and sharing your love for the men in your life, my farther passed away over twenty years ago now. He also was an only parent for myself and four sisters, I am a mother and grandmother and still miss my daddy everyday. I "HOPE" the love I felt from my daddy will go on to my grandchildren, I know I passed it to my children because they are amazing parents. When I see your tears I cry also because I know what ever you say comes from the heart. Bless you x

When I was little I used to run to the door when my dad got home too...now I'm 19, and I still do it. I just can't help it, I love my dad :) He used to have like a beer belly when he was younger, and I used to lay on top of it, and we used to take naps together :) I just have so many good memories of him, and they just keep going and I'm so grateful to have him in my life. :)
I cried to this because the love that you have for your dad and husband and kids is huge and it makes me feel love in my heart for your whole family. Katilette, watching this made me want to cry and I'm still trying to hold back the tears! I'm 15 and my dad and I don't have the best relationship and there have been times when I thought he didn't love me or my sisters, but that has never stopped me from loving him! Thank you so much for sharing your story! It means the world to me!
Everytime I watch this video I have this vision of her father taking care of 4 young children who lost their mother at a time in their lives when they really need her love and support. When I think about it like this I always cry even though I am not part of their family still I feel their pain. Colette has an awesome dad.
There was actually five! Colette has three sisters (two older, one younger) and a brother. So even more kids! So he's even more amazing:)
I needed to hear every word of this video. I haven't been fortunate enough to have great men in my life, but that doesn't mean I can't still learn that I too can be picky and find great love with a great man. Colette, you and Shay have been my teachers in that respect. I can't thank you both enough.

My dad died unexpectedly in 2005 at the age of 45, I was only twelve. Father's day is always very difficult for me I can look back and be grateful for the time I had. It's good to see people appreciating their fathers. It kills me when I see people just taking their parents for granted.

This made me cry. I started crying when you were talking about your dad being there when you got home really late and you said that you were grateful because not everyone has that. I don't have my dad with me but I have a loving family that cares about me and wants what's best for me. This was a truly touching video.

I'm still a young girl and I've made mistakes in my life, but ever since I started watching your videos, I've made a lot of positive choices, and changes in my life. I had a tough childhood. My parents divorced, I wasn't able to see my dad for years, and I missed him terribly. I still do. Your videos have changed my life so much. I want to thank you. I really do love you. You're an amazing person to everyone in your life. You're my rolemodel
To me my dad is the best person ever, he stayed when my mom left us, he dealt with all my fights with my brothers and sister, and hes dealing with my immaturity as a teenager, hes very lucky, he gets mothers day, fathers day and his birthday is Tomorroww
It makes me happy to see people who appreciate their fathers because i grew up without my dad around, we left him when i was only a baby and he was only around a few times and not the greatest, im now 16 and havent seen my dad in a couple of years and it hurts everyday. So many people take their dad's for granted and i hate it, i love seeing people appreciate their father's because so many dont have one around, thankyou Katilette. :)

I feel the same Katilette,I used to wait till my dad walked in the door when i was little. Id be so happy and as I got older I didn't do it anymore. I still loved him and cared for him.I want my dad to know hes extra special this Fathers day cause my four cousins just lost a dad.

i hate that it takes big events in my life to realise just how much i love my dad, we butt heads alot because we are so opinionated & because he has this ability to get on my nerves really easily but we share a connection that i could never have with any another person & i love him so much for that & more. you're the best Katilette!

I started crying when she said bluegrass music because my father always played bluegrass music. Guitar fiddle banjo, dolcimer and even mandelin! I love bluegrass music because that's how I grew up:)
