    Can't wait to try this! I have been working on a very tedious acrylic painting for 6 (non-consecutive) days so I need something free and simple! Thanks Lindsay!

    Wow, I just watched a video on water color pencils. I am ecstatic, to say the least!! I've wondered now for a while what the big fuss was about. The colors just pop when adding water. Thanks so much! Gorgeous! I know this method will help me to paint more.

    Thank you Lindsay. I now know how to use my watercolor pencils to add more color and shading. It is a beautiful rendition of the flower pic.

    Such a pretty flower and lovely colors! Would love to get a great set of watercolor pencils. I have a SU brand though and they work nicely for me. I have started painting and drawing since watching your channel and am slowly improving. My daughter and grandkids are impressed so that is a nice encouragement. Thank you for daily posting a new tutorial teaching me and others how to paint, make cards, make jewelry and so many other fun crafts! God bless you, Lindsay!

      +Anita Holmes practice en just try try and try will also get you there if it sw something you want and like to do. I also started at age 11 at school, at high school a got A s and A plus, and I also had the fear your now showing, just start, anything to lose if it doesn t work? no! Only you know you did the best you could to try it and if no one ever tried, then electricity let alone internet, or loight was never invented. Life is failing, and after failing several times you do succeed and get better the more you draw. Painting is different, but again every painter ever started as a kid, in kids art classes and with mothersday, Fathersday and Christmas with stuff we never really knew what was drawn on thaty sheet of paper, yet every parent puts the, feeling proud and feeling like you ve gotten a treassure they did their very very best at, at made it art on thr fridge? right!? just look at yourselff as a parent to a belovd child that drawn something unrecogniseble, and still said you ve never wanted anything else, thatthis meant the wotld to your mother of fathers heart, now do the same for your own heart,draw and if some one that hasn t done these stages themselfss says otherwise, dare them to draw it as they said they could, and that will never be said. Please just try, and don t give up if it s your passion, irt can be that you ve got a modern style, that doesn t alway s seem to mean ehat the observer tries tpo see, yet it is from the heart, it s art form has also rights, every one discovers a style that fits, yet before it happens you need to draw and draw and draw and watch, read,learn, youtube also, iyt helps, as long as you also draw and try at home, work,school, or in the car if not the driver is you, in public transport. I believe, you can!!!!!!!

    You always make it all seem so easy! :) I just made three attempts at your Holly & Berry watercolor Christmas card. I really have to work on that double color technique on the leaves. I was trying to think of a way to "save" the cards and I think maybe I'll try to layer cut-out leaves over the original leaves - go for a bit of 3D effect :) I'll figure something out :) I did successfully make the skeleton shaker cards for Halloween and they were a big hit! :) And this flower is gorgeous!! As always, many thanks for your tutorials!! You are awesome!!

    nice, it s very very nice result without colouring or painting a background. to many are afraid of white paper, sometimes the picture you want to draw or paint, needs a background, sometimes it s also great and just different, not to give it one

    Can you do more Brusho tutorials? I have heard a lot about using bleach/water mix, using straws to blow and all kinds of crazy techniques. I want to buy Brusho but need a little more understanding of how it works. I know people sprinkle it but I also read you can use ice cube trays as a palette and paint like you would with watercolors. Can you please do another tutorial with some of those methods.

    I love your videos, Lindsay. I was just wondering what kind of board you are using to clip your paper to when doing cards like this? Also, does a drawing board have to be waterproofed in some way before stretching watercolor paper on it?

    Hi Lindsay, need to ask question? What is the best of these 3 watercolor pan sets.... Rembrandt... Windsor and Newton, or Schimiki I don't know how to spell it? Would really appreciate your advice?

    What is the difference between artist quality and student ranges of watercolour pencils?

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  7 років тому

      the amount of pigment in them

    • @sewlouisa
      @sewlouisa 7 років тому

      thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich I thought so. Just got the 72 set of Derwent watercolour pencils from Amazon for just under £60 and they dissolve much nicer then their student pencils, nothing wrong with the student pencils thought!
