One thing I noticed about Ngannou vs Fury was that Ngannou didn't bite on Fury's trademark feints nearly as much as Fury's previous opponents. I mean, you could see Wilder being visibly flummoxed and exhausted by Fury's rapid fire feints, but Ngannou was mostly stonefaced and solid, letting Fury harmlessly pop-lock the night away. Perhaps it's due to how Fury's feints are fine-tuned to play on the deeply ingrained habits of elite boxers, something Ngannou hasn't fully developed yet.
I was so proud of Francis ... Fury couldn't bully him with his weight, nor could he impose his size & strength on him. Francis was just too massive & really didn't fall for Furys' veteran tricks in the ring. I thought Francis won by a close decision because Fury looked bad in there compared to what he usually is. He just looked like he lost a step & Francis brought the fight to him. I was proud of the guy. He was a warrior & for his first time boxing professionally, he gave himself a good showing & earned a lot of peoples respect that night. Bloody fantastic 👌🏽
Yeah, he really did win that fight. He's so strong, Fury tried wearing him out with his weight, but Ngannou was strong enough to carry him. Fury really relies on that one trick, and that's because it always worked until Ngannou. Francis is going to be a terror to deal with in the ring. I hope he makes Floyd money and eventually becomes a promoter. That way he can help younger guys out with fair pay. The boxing game, and really all combat sports in general need a guy like Ngannou to help ensure the guys get decent pay. It sucks that it's all going to fall on his shoulders, but he's the guy who's strong enough to carry them!
Who won and who lost? Oh yeah that’s right. Fury out-landed Ngannou. Just look up the compu-stats, it’s literally there lmao. The amount of delusion is absolutely insane. I feel like I live in a world full of Gen Z morons.

@@DoctorEduardo Yep, he totally diminished his reputation with his scummy behavior. Hagler walked away from boxing after that corrupt judges rip-off. The Hearns, Hagler, Duran and Leonard was a great era, shame it was spoiled by this toxic bull
That left hook Morales cracked Maidana with was as hard a shot as I've seen him eat. Idk if I've ever seen Morales throw a hook that good either, if I remember his right hand was always his money punch
No, Fury was still recognized as the lineal Heavyweight champion of the world even after his hiatus and Wilder at the time was unbeaten and the WBC Heavyweight Champion. Fury fought someone who at the time was thought of by many as someone who was the best HW in the sport. That’s not a cherry pick.
Pro boxing needs to cut these buffs out that pull all the strings and calling all the shots we don't know about. Also 1 belt instead of 4 or 5 for each division is just dumb. It's not a sport any more, it's usually just a big pay day for a few people and disappointed fans. Ufc does it right, 1 governing body and 1 undisputed champ for each weight division
i stopped spending money on watching boxing, the boxers don't give two fks about fans other than their money, the boxers now never give what the fans want. sh!t boxers are getting paid more to lose so a guy can keep an undefeated record.
Great intro. Other than it still being very corrupt, it's ridiculous how no one wants to fight one another. Instead of fighting one another they just make another belt. There is way too much negative stigma on a loss as well. They lose one fight and that's it. Instead of understanding that losing is part of the game and it's a learning experience they are written off so none of the fighters want to "risk" it. That's why you always see 40 -0. They pad their record with nobodies
Maidana vs Morales is one of my favorite fights. At first it was just nostalgia, but in the end he shows why you have to beware of an old man in a field where good men die young.
I think a lot of people give Sugar Ray grief about the Hagler fight but there are reasons to praise him too. I think the grief comes out of the decision which a lot of people think is a robbery but I watched that fight on the day it happened and it wasn't a robbery. It was a close fight that probably should have gone to Hagler but it was a very close fight. I haven't thought about it in a while but I do remember that Leonard was smart enough to steal rounds and people sometimes hold that against him but that's just good ring craft. Also you've got to give Sugar credit for fighting a man who, if you saw them side-by-side you would realize, was the much bigger guy. I definitely miss the Four Kings era.
Yep. This was a great video except for the Leonard part. My god, to call Hagler a cherry? People forget that Leonard was the only one who saw any decline in Hagler, and that he also explicitly and honestly expressed that he had waited. No one says "I'm cherry -picking" out loud, you know. Leonard was a natural welterweight and Hagler a natural middleweight, and arguably the best middleweight ever. You don't call a smaller retired man challenging a bigger all time great pretty much still in his prime "cherry picking".
@@DoctorEduardo That criticism I can take. He was like that. The sad thing about the Duran II fight was that it worked. It almost ruined the great Duran's legacy. Duran also had his bid of mind games with Leonard in his first fight, calling Leonard's wife out as a whore in public, which is even by boxing standards a step over the line. It actually had the effect of luring Leonard into a brawl, something that Duran had an edge over Leonard. The thing is, I personally don't think it was a mind game played on Duran's part, I just can't rid the feeling that it was a genuine outburst of Duran's rage at that time. In any case, what the heck do I know...
@@clubeyxander5132Hard for me to buy later SM champion (only a fight later, no less) Leonard as a natural "welterweight". Sure, Hagler was more used to the middleweight division and perhaps, naturally bigger in the ring, but by no means Leonard was a "small fighter", not to mention Leonard had already won a major title at Jr middleweight, so it was'nt the gargantuan 2 division jump. I would consider It something similar to the controversial "Canelo-Kovalev" situation, wich on future years is going to be seen on a similar light
@@desanctisapostata I respect your opinion. That said, I still stand by my opinion that at that time Leonard was the smaller fighter, and that though he was sometimes very sneaky in choosing the timing of his fights, he was never a cherry picker. Hagler was no cherry.
It really is crazy how bad the Heavyweight division has been since the 2000s. The fact that Tyson Fury is probably the best of them all is embarrassing. Wilders resume is probably the worst out of any Heavyweight in history. Yes he has a killer right hand but it’s who he’s knocked out with that right hand is the problem. His best win is against an old Ortiz and he wasn’t exactly a great fighter. Good, a few years before yes. They’re all so baaaaad. We went from Joe Louis, Marciano, Liston, Patterson, Charles, Walcott, Foreman, Frazier, Ali, Holmes, to Holyfield, Lewis, Ruddock, Tyson, Mercer, Morrison, to Joshua, Fury, Wilder, Parker, Joyce and Dubois. The skill level has fallen so far it’s almost unbelievable. The Klitschkos were the beginning of the end. Yes they were dominant champions, but they’re level of competition was also pretty bad. It seems today that Heavyweights only have to be physically enormous and that’s the only prerequisite. Most Heavyweights today are giants relative to the ones of yesteryear, and it shows. They’re slow, ponderous, have no idea what a combination is, dont have much punch resistance, throw slow pawing jabs that wouldn’t break wind, have next to no defence or footwork, and rarely have any kind of snap on their punches. If a Tyson-esque fighter came around today, (a fast, combination puncher who could slip punches and get inside) he would clean up the division without much pushback. The division is SCREAMING for another star. It’s wide open for an actual boxer with great fundamentals to take over. The card that just happened last week showed how bad the division actually is. All the supposed best Heavyweights on earth were there and every fight was a dull, painfully slow affair. I’m just glad Fury wasn’t there as I can’t stand the man as a fighter or a person. Some say he reminds them of Ali? Or you fucking serious? Ali had more charisma in his peehole than Fury has in his entire skinny fat body. Fury is a loud obnoxious coke head who constantly screams the same four things “DOSSER,!” “PUSSY!” “I’LL FIGHT YOU ANY DAY OF THE WEEK AND TWICE ON SUNDAYS!!” and “THERES NOT A MAN BORN FROM HIS MOTHER THAT CAN BEAT ME,!” over and over. He spends more time on social media than he does in the ring. The man fights once a decade and let’s not forget the time he uppercutted himself in a fight….can’t remember Ali ever doing that….I needed to go a watch Ali vs Frazier after watching that card.
Wow, great video! However, if Hagler was a cherry, he was a damn big cherry! Based on the fact the Hagler was no cherry, and that it was only Leonard that saw any decline in Hagler's game, it could be said that the bout was a masterpiece of cherry picking, only for the textbooks.
I think another one is Mayweather vs Marcos Madiana. Mayweather put out a post saying whoever wins this poll will be my next opponent 70% voted for Amir Khan so Mayweather fought Madiana someone Khan had beaten, in a fantastic fight that was voted fight of the year. With how competitive the 1st Mayweather vs Madiana fight was we can see why he wasn't too keen on the Khan fight. Although to be fair fo Mayweather Madiana wasn't a poor opponent in the slightest.
Rousey got 3 mil up front cause they knew she was a draw, Nunes got only 100k but also PPV points she made over a million after the fight I believe, Bloody Elbow has a bunch of the former ufc champs payouts broken down
I think the Mayweather Pacquiao at last did a great job covering the problems with making this fight happen back in 2010 . And I don't think Floyd was purposely trying to stall out a 100 mil fight during the time when the economy was absolute crap . There were too many cooks in the kitchen and bad relations between Bob , Oscar ,Floyd and Haymon.
@@thenedsmmachannel8970the fight happened at the best Time in terms of money. In 2010 Floyd and Manny were big stars but by 2015 they were bigger than ever and they made way much more money because of it
@joel8692 who cares about money when we all wanted to see them in their absolute prime. They were massive stars regardless anyways. They were the 2 big ones during that entire time, it still would've sold over 4 million PPVs but would've been a far better fight if they fought in 2010-2012

I remember watching the fight and Hagler definietly won
@@DoctorEduardo Yep, he totally diminished his reputation with his scummy behavior. Hagler walked away from boxing after that corrupt judges rip-off. The Hearns, Hagler, Duran and Leonard was a great era, shame it was spoiled by this toxic bull
Hagler gave leonard a bigger ring shorter fight(15 to 12) and heavier gloves (8 to 10) for a bigger purse.
THIS VIDEO IS A HARD WATCH.
I know
Good to see you dude!!! I barely started the video and I already know it's gonna be a great one. Happy Holidays!
Anyone else remember when these videos weren’t narrated and straight up fight comps? Good times…
You picked the wrong Fury fight - Fury-Wilder was the best example in YEARS of a cherry pick gone wrong
That left hook Morales cracked Maidana with was as hard a shot as I've seen him eat. Idk if I've ever seen Morales throw a hook that good either, if I remember his right hand was always his money punch
Would Wilder vs Fury count as a 🍒? Fury was out 2 years, depresssed, on drugs, 380 pounds. Seems like a cherry pick gone wrong to me!
Fantastic analysis at the start, mandatory system is what keeps the world titles legitimate
Merry Christmas! Thank you for your videos and hard work.
Thank you brother. Thank you for all content Goated champ!
They pad their record with nobodies
yes !! a new upload when we all have time to get trough , thank you mr !
Happy Holidays, Hancho! Continue the hard work and be safe!
Great stuff as always 👑
Barrera v Morales two of the best fights I've ever seen. Warriors!
Leonard was so fing petty
That backflip after a win immediately got me to root for him, whatever comes next lol
Much respect from your Latino Brethren out here in AriZona!
Maidana vs Morales is one of my favorite fights.
At first it was just nostalgia, but in the end he shows why you have to beware of an old man in a field where good men die young.
Another fantastic video Hancho.
That Yu Yu Hakusho OST is a certified hood classic 💯
Leonard was the underdog and naturally smaller fighter and coming off 3 years of inactivity, and did enough to win. I don't get the criticism.
Fam the Wilder Vlad part was wild. Corruption at its finest
"Momff yo momff, year to year... Smiff..." how are you PRESS?!?!?!
Boxing is a beauty pageant 😂
That left hook on maidana from morales at 26:15 was nasty
Been waiting on this one Hancho, thanks a lot bro. Happy holidays bro
This is amazing work!
Merry xmas, lets go champ!
You earned yourself a sub my brother. I love You🫶🏽
He’s not new to this, you better do some research before you come to this channel talking s**t.
@@Ishbikeswatch your mouth talkn yo me boii
Merry Christmas Office Hancho)) I hope you are well
Superb compilations!
"Cab drivers" means they don't/CAN'T put all they CAN into boxing!
That Garcia Salka debacle was horrific. Salsas lucky he didn’t get badly hurt. Postol would’ve destroyed Garcia.
Wilder has the most padded record and was the most protected fighter in HW history.
Appreciate this vid.. have to share.. Ray Leonard got a lifelong hater, in me, with the BS!! he pulled with the Marvelous One.. absolute SH*T!!
Love your vids Hancho
Perfect Christmas present Hancho! Thanks brother, appreciate it! Also love the Animorphs image, brought me back to grade school.
Miss the old HBO fight nights.
Although to be fair fo Mayweather Madiana wasn't a poor opponent in the slightest.
merry christmas bro
4:30….. Christ almighty Merchant has a five head!!!!😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite Bernard Hopkins interviews.
Well this is my xmas gift😂👍
Rousey got 3 mil up front cause they knew she was a draw, Nunes got only 100k but also PPV points she made over a million after the fight I believe, Bloody Elbow has a bunch of the former ufc champs payouts broken down
Larry always looked like a troll lol
After that Joshua ko 👀
Legendary channel! 💯🙏
lol when someone says Bud beat a substitute school teacher for the title Jeff Horn is a actual substitute school teacher 😜
DSG's cherry pick gone wrong was mauricio herrera not rod salka. its typically believed that herrera was robbed.
6:02 Just like Leonard stalled on fighting Hagler until Hagler showed a decline, Mayweather did the same with the Pacquiao fight.
Floyd is older than Pacquiao. Pacquiao fought for another 9 years
@jeffrejr1 regardless that fight should've happened 4-6 prior than when it took place.
They were the 2 big ones during that entire time, it still would've sold over 4 million PPVs but would've been a far better fight if they fought in 2010-2012
I thought that time marker said "klitchsko vs autism" LoL
Animorphs, what a throw back lolol
Oh yeah this about to be a banger
