Just a correction over here- buddism dint reach china through silk root but indian traders, and india had these great unvivesities like vnalanda, takshila, thihara, vikarm shila, sharda peet, uditpuri so on and so forth. its mentioned in ancient sanskrit text how people all over world came to study in these universities. also there are lot of indian temple and carvings depicting Chinese and egypitain visting india for medicinal and educational knowledge.
about the cloths its only certain jain sects in india who dont believe in wearing cloths not rest of indians , u ll find ancient indian clothing in paitings, temples, vedas and sanskrit text they have various names for it.

Greco-Bactria is in my opinion one of the most interesting Cultural Syncretism. In the video you mentioned the Syncretism of Indian and Greek art, and while that is one of the most well documented example in this region, its not the only Cultural Syncretism in Greco-Bactria. As the eastern region under Seleucid and Bactrian control was ruled by a minority of Greeks and Macedonians, there was much cultural exchange between Greeks, Persians, Sogdians, Indians and even the Scythian tribes around Alexandria-Eschate. This Cultural Syncretism may have had more far spread influence. Ashoka, (Mauryan Emperor) sent Buddhist missionaries to Egypt, whom probably learned to speak Greek from Greeks living in the Mauryan Empire or from Indians who learned Greek from the Greco-Bactrians. There have been theories that these missionaries and their teachings may have even influenced early Christianity centuries later in places like Alexandria (Highly unlikely, but possible). There is also the Indo-greek king Menander I, whom ruled a culturaly diverse kingdom around Gandhara in North-Western India. He is known as the first Greek king to convert to Buddhism, so the Cultural Syncretism was not just adaptation to new rulers (Hellenization) but more of an mixing of cultures.

Before Buddhism, it was asthism and Brhminism, and no Hinduism. Most of the Indian continental people's followed Asthism
