I'll be flying British Airways for the first time next month non-stop from Phoenix, AZ to LHR... I'm so hyped to be flying on my favorite aircraft. It'll make it hard to sleep.
True. But the corporate body painting of BA does not look good on most airbus planes. For example Delta Airlines a350-1000 is looking way better with less paint used.
@@marklasy6209 If they have to, there's no choice for them. BA 777x's seem to be very far away from being real anyway, so their current 777s will be probably rust buckets when they arrive
@@guilhermeguidolim9419 yes but GRU is business/leisure so it’s not surprising, also their RFS flights have low taxes, hence I have flown it many times
i flew the A350-900 from LHR to DEN, it was my first 10+ hour flight and my first true transatlantic flight and it was awesome! this aircraft is brilliant and its quiet, much more so than i expected even compared to the 777-300ER. I'm excited to fly on it again soon
Scrapping the entire fleet of 31 747-400s at the start of the pandemic has left them very short on capacity, especially with delays and the A380s regularly suffering mechanical issues.
Better than the 777x, not in passenger numbers but in range and price. I would not hesitate I would order the other 18 A350-1000 now, forget the 777x. ORDER MORE a350-900's too.
I don’t, it does make sense but I fear that Boeing’s pricing may undercut the A35K when the 77E replacement order comes around but I am keeping my hopes up for the 350 and hope it doesn’t happen
British Airways just forget about Boeing and their disasters with their broken promises and false promises !! OF NEW AIRCRAFT THAT NEVER HAPPENS GO AIRBUS !!!
They shouldn't, the Boeing 777-8X isn't due into passenger service till 2030 at the earliest and no doubt that will encounter delays too, British Airways need to order more a350s

That Airbus A350 is one EXCELLENT airplane. I'd fly in it again, anytime !! Roland Singh, Canada 🇨🇦
The most beautiful passenger airplane in the skies👏😊

no its not@@nickking7375
What they should do is just buy Airbus and support Britain. In addition, where possible buy Rolls Royce engine not any other company.
The 787 & A350 are all RR engines
@@leonnicholls4008 Actually, the 787 can be supplied with RR or GE engines. A350 is exclusively RR.
The 350 uses exclusively Rolls Royce XWB 97. No other aircraft use it. The closet is the A330 NEO
I don’t trust Boeing with the 777-9
They should order the a350-900 for the Gatwick base
That would be ideal choice. To replace their ageing B777 200s
@@rajnirvan3336but then the 777 pilots would struggle to convert and their aren’t a lot of a350 pilots in the uk
@@marklasy6209 there are plenty of a320 pilots though... training exists.

BA also operates the A35K to Austin, of all places.
You'd be surprised but the load factor is very high on that route
I’ve just done that route. Club World was pretty much full in both directions.
Possibly business demand in tech industry.
@@coopa2002They also fly to Sao Paulo GRU, the flight is always full in all class.

What evidence do you have of them regularly suffering mechanical issues? Not saying you’re wrong just interested
The A380 isn't suffering regular mechanical issues, stop making garbage up
@@soilentgreen7 Actually he is correct, BA have admitted it themselves.
How long before BA orders the A350-1000 ulr to fly the direct route to Australia to compete with Qantas on the route. ??
I wouldn't be surprised if they revenue share since they're in the same alliance.
Qantas don’t fly the 350 to Australia from the uk
they will be soon with the sunrise flights

1000th like. I currently do ramp work with the British Airways Airbus A350-1000 at SAN.
They should exercise options asap ,and order 20 A350-900 to replace some of the older B777-200ER.
Delta just ordered forty (yes 40) A-350 1000 aircraft … why was that not mentioned here. Wouldn’t that make Delta the LARGEST operator?
Wow! That's great.
Wasn't that 20/20?
Orders/Options
Absolutely stunning
Well qatar airways has 18 -1000 left to be delivered so they'll be the largest
I think he means airlines that have their A350 not airlines that are still waiting
BA wi!ll buy more A350-1000. The economics of this plane will improve with the investment by Rolls-Royce in the plane's engine.

Heard they gonna fly to BLR from next week
Elegant jet.
Think I’d be scrapping any orders with Boeing and replacing them with Airbus orders. RIP John Barnett.
whats the OEW of their A35K
the A350-1000 British Airways flys to boston now
The route map is remaining Sao Paulo GRU.
BA would do well to cease buying dodgy Boeing and only buy Airbus.
They will order more, trust me!

Only when Rolls Royce starts the upgrades to the Trent XWB-97
BA needs to replace it's aging fleet of B777-200 ER with additional B787-10 & A350-900 wide body jets . . .
it's a major competitor of Boeing 777x.
How about JAL's A350-1000?
They could do that when they begin to retire their A380s
Congratulations 🎉❤
If BA has any brains they will be buying Airbus and ditching Boeing due to Boeing's quality problems
British Airways just forget about Boeing and their disasters with their broken promises and false promises !! OF NEW AIRCRAFT THAT NEVER HAPPENS GO AIRBUS !!!
Also to YVR
Bargain with Boeing for discount in 777. Only 😮 if change BA border, Airbus are able to negotiate new offer.
BA A350 doesn't fly to South Africa. Only the A380 & B787_9
That's to JNB. To CPT they do fly A350-1000.
Do they have any A350-900?
No, they’re still holding on to their 777-200ERs for now
No, the -900s in IAG go to iberia.
Cathay Pacific also has 18 A350-1000, not 17.
350K subscribers lol
They should order more
The 777-9 won’t be available until 2027 or 28 😅😅😅😅

Hated by the majority of BA cabin crew who work on them!
Why is that?

That's irrelevant, given the fact that passengers love it.
