We hung out with Jeffrey Jones (in his green dinner jacket from the famous shrimp scene), Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder. Who knew it would be a huge hit?

At 5:55 in the helicopter shot from the movie's opening credits you can see the open back of the false library facade at the bottom of the screen. Apparently it was only three-sided, leaving the back exposed with open framing and the existing library jutting out beneath it.

Hello, I enjoyed your production very much. Many years ago I made it a point to stop and see this location while on a huge cross country Harley ride. I saw a lot more through your work though. Particularly liked your transitions between the movie and now. Sad how the buildings are falling into such disrepair. Thanks for a neat episode.
Great video! We love seeing these old filming locations, especially from our favorite 80’s movies. What a bummer to see the condition of the hardware store though. 🙁 Your research and editing were excellent. Thanks for the tour! We’ve never been to Vermont, hope to visit some day.
Glad you enjoyed it! ..and I know what you mean about the current condition. It's too bad that it has been in that state for far too long... I'm sure you will make it there some day. Thanks a lot, and I'll be checking out your channel too... I like the sound of that haha!
During our road to New England last month, we were going through Vermont and I deliberately started playing the Cd at a specific preplanned point. That's when I told her it was because we were IN the town where it (exteriors) was filmed. She had no idea I had added it as a stop to the trip :)
