Learn about the Pure Korean number system (하나 둘 셋…) and how it differs from the Sino-Korean number system. This second part will cover Pure Korean numbers. The next episode will talk about how we can use both of these systems together to count in Korean.
Apologies for the typo at 3:17. It should read "스물" again like the other examples, and not 수물.

Nice catch! Apologies for the typo.
I was about to comment this, but which one is the right one?
스물 is the right one, which appears in the video everywhere else (except the one spot where there's a typo).
Learn Korean with GO! Billy Korean okay thanks!
Even I noticed it and was like no Billy this is wrong 😅😎
I really love ur videos! It is so easy to follow! keep up the good work!
I practice counting when I do weightlifting and crunches at the gym. Totally helps too!!! 🤗
There are expressions for 100 and 1000, which are 온 and 즈믄, respectively (old Korean). 물론 실생활에서 쓰일 일은 없지만요 :)
키켓! 네가 최고야! 고마워! = YOU are the best, Keykat! Thanks!
네가 = you (subject) (pronounced as 니가)
네 (from 너) is a subject
이/가 = Subject Marker Particle; puts emphasis on the word before it: 네/니
So, I take Taekwondo and the masters are Korean, some better at English than others, but all very great. As a part of learning kicks, forms, sparring, and the such; we also learn vocab. When you're white belt, the first thing you learn is how to count 1-10 and phrases such as thank you, hello, excuse me, and such forth.
Funny thing, I started learning numbers last week. Its like you know. Lol great lesson.
if i counted my steps in korean i don't think i would ever get anywhere fast lol!! or i just hope there isn't more than 10 steps!
Wow this is kinda confusing but I’ll get the hang of it
When I first learned it this was a very confusing topic for me to grasp. "Why don't they just use one number system?" But it's not so bad with some practice. And having 2 separate systems makes sense because there are so many Chinese words in Korean. It's not so confusing after practicing it for awhile.
These videos are helpful
@ 2:19 I’m practicing the teen numbers first to learn both at once then you can just remember to take away 열 before saying any numbers below 10.
thank you so much!
Hi! Billy. Is 20 스 물 or 수 물?
It's 스물.
@@GoBillyKorean yes, but in the list I thought I saw 수
@@angig3364 Yes, that slide has a typo. It should say 스물.
@@GoBillyKorean thank you!
외국인을 사칭한 한국사람인거같아.... 한국말 왜이렇게 잘하는거야... 와... 나보다 잘하는(?)거같음
하나=1
둘=2. 수물=20
셋=3. 서륵=30
겟=4. 마흔=40
다섯=5 쉰=50
여섯=6 여순=60
일곱=7 일흔=70
여덟=8 여든=80
아홉=9 아흔=90
열=10
There are a few typos so I'd recommend double checking them when making notes :)
