I heard someone say that the PWR “shouldn’t” have both a box motor (Xi3) and a stern motor (NK300) at the same time. I was under the impression that’s exactly what it’s for and why I want to buy 2 of them soon! Can you weigh in on that? Any weight distribution issues etc? Thank you again for your videos. Awesome.
You are definitley good to do a bow (Xi3) and stern motor (NK300) on the PWR at the same time. The stern motor will likely be better to cover water faster and for trolling, then use the bow motor while fishing a select area. Just keep in mind the total capacity of the PWR. In addition, there is an option for a “step down” module. This allows the Xi3 and the NK 300 to be run off of the same battery. Cutting down on total weight and also reserving the bow hatch for smaller batteries that can power graphs and electronics. Hope this helps!
Sorry but one more question… how important is weight distribution when putting on the two motors? I know the tank well area is reinforced but there’s gonna be a fair amount of weight there even with the xi3 in the front. Could be a bit “stern heavy”. Does that matter much? I doubt it but wanted to ask. Thank you again!

You can use the four bolt pattern that is already present in the stock kayak and use the mount that comes with the Micro Anchor if you do not plan to install a stern mounted motor. If you want to have a stern motor, you can purchase the accessory plates to install the Micro Anchor on either side of the kayak bonafidefishing.com/products/pwr129-stern-plates?_pos=4&_sid=b9d85a429&_ss=r. These plates can also be used for dual Micro Anchor installations. I am looking at getting a Micro Anchor for the stern. Is there a plate I need to get or can I just mount it in place. Thank you!!
