So I went back in and ended up buying the Andros Green XTR in this video, I explained my use case and situation and the guys at T G took my situation and the way I was wanting to setup the XTR into consideration and really went the extra mile to make sure I had exactly what I needed. The wife and I were blown away at how much yall were willing to assist for our benefit. This is the type of business/service that I am more than happy to recommend to friends and family.
Thanks for dropping by Cameron, it was great to talk to you and your family about kayaks once again, we look forward to seeing your adventures on your new XTR!
Any word on the recommended way to store this kayak? Does it need to be stored on its side like a traditional kayak (sling), or is it best stored flat on its hull like in this video?
@tgcanoesandkayaks where is that stated by Bonafide....need the manufacturer statement for tournaments if you gonna have both motors on the rig....and I want both motors on the rig!
On Bonafide's website in the "Introducing the XTR130" section then top left of that under "For the Tournament Angler" it does state on the website: "Outfitted to be ready for dual motors and substantial battery storage, it guarantees seamless, hands-free navigation." Seems like a statement to me, but dont think any kayak tournaments at this time allow dual motors.
Well look at that, just stopped in today to check out the shop and see the XTR in person. And now I get your video recommended, both of you guys were super friendly and helpful. Talked about a lot of options and provided valuable feedback. Absolutely recommend buying from T G, smart guys who are very inviting and engaged with their customers.

Me too.. thats the color I'm getting
Thanks for the walkthrough... that's a really impressive level of thought and engineering that went into the design!
Agreed, Bonafide did alot of good things with the design of the XTR imo
That's a BARGE! 😯

How did you secure the battery in the hatch for the trolling motor?

Not on the side, too heavy. Store it on it's hull imo.
Did Bonafide state that vessel can run and handle the two motors?
@ryanfuller9710 Yes, you can have both on

Hey, that is super cool! Thanks for hanging out with us today ✌
It’s a skiff.
If you need a trailer its a boat. Might as well buy a used bass boat. You catch more fish and stay dry.
@andrewcarr2416 Hey, thanks for your input 👍
