My favorite underrated move would be Mileena’s Khanum dash. I think it has great potential due to its cancel allowing some nice mixups. Only issue with it is how it removes her ball. They need to change that or give her more combo routes to lead into her combo crushing blow.
In MK9 I would say Sektor's regular teleport because of how good it was for punishing/whiff punishing/anti-zoning also was his way to get combo damage and lead to 30% meterless if it punished the opponet and 40% if the sektor player spent a bar it also worked really nicely with his up missle since if a up missle hit at full screen you could hit confirm the up missle into instant air teleport and the reason why this was all possible is becuase if you did an instant air teleport it was 16 frames on start-up making it the 2nd fastest teleport in the game and even then smoke's 15 frame didnt lead to combos and wasnt a big part of smoke's combo game but it was also really good just not as good as Sektor's regular teleport and Sektor's ex teleport was the same except it lead to 34% for a bar(the cost of ex teleport and spending 2 bars by using another ex move lead to barely any extra damage), was safe on block and was 1 frame slower by being 17 frames on start-up instead of 16 frames Adding with an edit: regular teleport also gave him damaging 50/50's but they were very punishable on block but still MK9 didnt have a lot of 50/50's and if you did the mix-up with ex teleport the 50/50 would be safe however if it got blocked u lost a bar of meter which Sektor had homing missle whoch he used his extra meter for along with ex teleport for extending combos so u wouldnt use the 50/50 alot but still good for getting extra damage and also Sektor's regular teleport could be a combo ender and would leave space and hit advantage for more zoning which Sektor did pretty good at in MK9 his teleport was also a wake-up but it was pretty bad as you could stuff it quite easily becuase if you didnt do instant air teleport the regular teleport was 30 frames on start up and his ex teleport was 31 frames on start up and since in MK9 doing a wake up attack would give the player doing the wakeup attack 11 frames of invincibility for meterless wake ul attacks and as such would give u 19 frames to stuff his regular teleport and for ex teleport a ex wakeup attack in MK9 would give the player 20 frames of invincibility and as such would give the opponet 11 frames to stuff the ex teleport and for his regular teleport if the opponet blocked they would also get you full combo punished
@@PeakMotionOfficial I feel like Rain's Hydroplane deserves a special nod as it can punish the D1 into acid alot of Kano's, including myself, like to use. As long as he's not in the corner, he can Hydroplane cancel positioning himself out of opponent pressure. Very useful when playing a F12B2 string abusing Kano.
For MKX I was expecting you to talk about how broken Basilisk runner is for Reptile, with it he can easily get 40-55% combos for 1 bar, not only that but he gets amazing zoning, his moves come out faster meaning the mix-ups we're even harder to block, and just doing the unamplified version after a hard knockdown lead to mix-ups that get you 40% damage meterless. Reptile overall is a very underrated character in X but most people won't bother because the execution it takes to play him is insane.

I miss Tremor. I think he was absolutely awesome, his abilities are amazing and makes me such a big threat and force. And yet, he is completely underused in-universe. A freaking geomamcer who can control the earth elements all together, AND shake the earth itself; so much potential, wasted. I want Tremor to come back! And have a role!

One special move I feel like deserves some kind of recognition is Sub Zero's slide. It isn't the strongest, but it is good for offense, defense, and mobility, as well as it has always been consistently a very good option since the very beginning. Never the best, but always pretty great
Honestly I think Leatherfaces Killer stance is crazy. Stamina-less cancels, unblockable (which can also be canceled), overhead, and a safe launcher. Also Quan Chi’s bat (Puggles) gave him basically unparalleled mix and zoning potential. Finally, I think Kenshi’s teleport in Possessed was crazy cause not only was it quick, but unlike other teleports, it put you in the air above them giving you a free jump in, so if your opponent wasn’t looking for it, you got a free jump in after every special cancel, making his block pressure very tricky to get out of.
Yea qualms bat is op it gives him multiple mixups that are overhead and low at pretty much the exact same time, also it could add like 15 percent to any combo if u know how to play quan

Bypasses neutral, strings with gaps, footsies, projectiles, corner pressure, & enables them to start combos & fuck up strings requiring inputs. Reptile's Basilisk - Turned players into training dummies, leaving them open for 50/50s into 40% & made his zoning broken for its duration. couldn't block during it though. Sonya Blade's Stun Grenades - The hitbox is MASSIVE, lingers forever, is plus on block, can be delayed during armored options to punish them after the bar is used & the move shits on zoning wars due to the throw length. She does have to manually re-load them, forcing her to commit to an animation & she can't deal massive damage without it. Alien Konjurer's Ovomorph spawn - This one has a considerable amount of startup & it dissipates if alien is hit, but is stupid everywhere else. Once activated manually or if the opposing character is in proximity, the facehugger leaps nearly full screen with tracking & re-capturing properties. It turns even teched throws into combos because of the animation disabling block. It grants nearly full screen dash corner carry on a hit player while enabling Alien to set another one into string/overhead/low/grab vortexes. On block it's hella +, giving more pressure and 50/50s. Once manually activated, Alien could block stuff & still have the Ovomorph come into play to wreck havoc. Truly a disgusting move. Hish Qu ten Lasers - Watch any set against this Predator variant. This projectile is nuts. Useful for cancelling strings, controlling neutral, extending combos/pressure, has legit barely any endlag once shot, builds a shit ton of meter, & can be run cancelled. Shinnok's Hell Sparks - Covers massive space with three separate projectiles. D4 into Hell Sparks pushes many characters too far away to punish normally and forces them to use either a forawrd lunging move or meterburn to punish. Blood God's Totems - If I had to pick the worst offender, than the Obsidian Totem would be mine (although they're all godly.) Reduces combo damage by half & makes kotal take less chip damage. Even AFTER the nerf, this variation still has those damn totems. Ermac's Meterburn Force Push - Normal push is a great tool in midrange due to being -10 on block and big, but the meterburn dials it up to 11. It's -1 on block, steals meter & health, grants a hard knockdown, has 2 hits of armor, carries them full screen, & still gives Ermac time for a 50/50 if he's willing to run. Kitana's X-ray - While expensive & not a special, it's a frame 9 Overhead & psychologically conditions players to respect it at ALL times when she has all three bars of meter during strings & neutral. God forbid she sharpened her fans in Assassin & managed to connect it, you'd take +45% easily from a combo or she could just do it raw for 42% after a sharpen. It does 35% normally too, which is some of the highest damage for an x-ray. Did i mention it does 9% chip damage as well? Making it ideal for chipping players to death on low health.
Always will be a fan of Joker’s Batdoll gun move (I don’t remember the name) great for zoning, easy to use as a punish, and can lead into some fun combos if they teleport. Plus great chip damage
Kabal in game: has very powerful moves and is a beloved character Kabal in the game's story: "what the fuck is a Kabal? Is he good is he bad? Is it some kind of dessert?"
Tremor is unique among unique Mk ninjas and deserves a return. Being the "strong" among them his movelist was a welcome departure from the role elements played with their respective ninjas where the element only comes out when the character conjures it. Tremor *was* his elements at all times on his hands and chest. He evokes those unsettling Ninja Scroll ninja golem villain vibes but there was a discipline to his fighting style even when he would light slap the earth to shake the player across the screen. I would be happy to see this character again in the future and preferably not as a goon like they did Skarlet.
For mkx you should have mentioned lui kangs fireball in dragons fire he could cancel it and become plus on anything he wanted and did a ton of damage in combos and was unbreakable because it. Was a projectile

Eyo im late to the other vid I know but there is another useless move I found in mk9. Mileena's back 2 was a lunging attack that stabbed into the opponent, and it stayed there for a while. But it only did anything if you manage to shank them in the back, meaning you couldn't do it inot a combo. All it did was add an additional 3-6 damage to her pounce move(the back forward 2 move forgot what it was called). So there you go. Ps love the vids keep up the good work
I would say Goro’s Dragon Breath is probably the best move in MKX. It was +9 on block, so you can basically do whatever you want and cancel into that, and you’re good to go. If it was on any other character, the character would be completely busted. Jax’s Energy wave is up there, too. It’s quick, can delay it to throw off timing, ex version is great, and it’s safe on block, which gives him an out. Very good projectile.
I don’t have a lot of knowledge about other characters, but I play Erron in MK11 and I think scud shot is really good. I don’t know 100% sure, but I think that it makes his strings safe, as long as you don’t hold 3 for long, it destroys all projectiles (including another Erron’s FB) and the meter burn can be used to punish or just end a round (I’ve done the latter many times)
Sektor up rockets. Free setup if you end a combo with it and he can spend a bar and get garenteed setup on most the cast and even with a teleport its hard to avoid.
What game MK9 or MKX? If your talking MKX then armor would avoid the set-up but in MK9 it was really good just not on the same level as nomad dash, military stance, ex cartwheel, bombs, spirit charge along with a couple of other moves but it was really good
@@sektorackworth214 I didnt play 9 I ment X. I know you can armor but even with that its still insane plus you could just do the nissles over yourself and if they hit you while they were over you then you got a full combo.
Sindel in MK9 had a very quick float cancel. It was good for pressure and her floating also gave her projectiles to use. Her floating ability in MK11 is way too slow, but the enhanced version is somewhat broken because you can spam projectiles and bursts all day 😂

Jasons Unstoppable Armor braking buff would also be a contender for MKX.
Tremor is unique among unique Mk ninjas and deserves a return. Being the "strong" among them his movelist was a welcome departure from the role elements played with their respective ninjas where the element only comes out when the character conjures it. Tremor *was* his elements at all times on his hands and chest. He evokes those unsettling Ninja Scroll ninja golem villain vibes but there was a discipline to his fighting style even when he would light slap the earth to shake the player across the screen. I would be happy to see this character again in the future and preferably not as a goon like they did Skarlet.

For mkx you should have mentioned lui kangs fireball in dragons fire he could cancel it and become plus on anything he wanted and did a ton of damage in combos and was unbreakable because it. Was a projectile

Eyo im late to the other vid I know but there is another useless move I found in mk9. Mileena's back 2 was a lunging attack that stabbed into the opponent, and it stayed there for a while. But it only did anything if you manage to shank them in the back, meaning you couldn't do it inot a combo. All it did was add an additional 3-6 damage to her pounce move(the back forward 2 move forgot what it was called). So there you go. Ps love the vids keep up the good work

I would say Goro’s Dragon Breath is probably the best move in MKX. It was +9 on block, so you can basically do whatever you want and cancel into that, and you’re good to go. If it was on any other character, the character would be completely busted.
Jax’s Energy wave is up there, too. It’s quick, can delay it to throw off timing, ex version is great, and it’s safe on block, which gives him an out. Very good projectile.
Kabal nomad dash has an infinite block string in MK9. That move has no competition, his gas blast doesn't stand on equal footing as nomad cancels.

Scorpion teleport in mk9 was very plus I was surprise that wasn’t in here
I don’t have a lot of knowledge about other characters, but I play Erron in MK11 and I think scud shot is really good. I don’t know 100% sure, but I think that it makes his strings safe, as long as you don’t hold 3 for long, it destroys all projectiles (including another Erron’s FB) and the meter burn can be used to punish or just end a round (I’ve done the latter many times)
Some projectiles beat errons scud shot but it is still amazing
For mkx best move has to be Shinnok's amulet attack. It was really cool.
Sektor up rockets. Free setup if you end a combo with it and he can spend a bar and get garenteed setup on most the cast and even with a teleport its hard to avoid.
What game MK9 or MKX? If your talking MKX then armor would avoid the set-up but in MK9 it was really good just not on the same level as nomad dash, military stance, ex cartwheel, bombs, spirit charge along with a couple of other moves but it was really good
@@sektorackworth214 I didnt play 9 I ment X. I know you can armor but even with that its still insane plus you could just do the nissles over yourself and if they hit you while they were over you then you got a full combo.

In mkx, I think Sonya’s electronic bomb was broken, it’s one of the best poke special in the game, and you can make mind games with this

For MKX I'd probably go with Unstoppable Jason's Punishment. Damage boost plus armor breaking is downright broken. Especially in the corner.
With deadly winds when i play as Cassie I just use the shoulder charge to punish her it works everytime
literally most of Jason's variation moves in mkx were ridiculous
Sindel in MK9 had a very quick float cancel. It was good for pressure and her floating also gave her projectiles to use. Her floating ability in MK11 is way too slow, but the enhanced version is somewhat broken because you can spam projectiles and bursts all day 😂
Best projectiles in MK/Injustice would also be a good video.
