Great video! I love that colour of paint and stain, the finished result looks beautiful. I will need to get some of their products now i think. Oh!! I love your comment “No one puts pressure on me I do that to myself” I so relate to that and said pretty much the same words to my manager yesterday, probably why i like watching your videos all the time and love the facebook group., I love your waffling in your videos too its refreshing, easy to listen to and we learn stuff. I love it when i get a notification a new video has been posted on this channel!
I have wanted. to chalk paint for a while. You have instructed me thoroughly on this video. Love the color and am searching for a piece to learn this on. TY for your videos. They are so instructional.
You know how much I love when you so videos in real time ...it Keeps my confidence up and after I watch a few of ur videos I go out back and get to my painting...thank you so much! And that color is gorgeous 🌷🖌️🤗🌷💕
That is so beautiful. I’m with you, I love that color. Good job. I’m in America and if I would ever move from here I’d move there. I think Australia is such a lovely place. Have a blessed day.
That is beautiful! I love the color of paint and stain and the sheen of the finish! If I didn't live on the opposite side of the world, I would buy it! I like the idea of being able to buy products as a package deal, wish other companies did the same. Stunning piece! 😁👏💝
Wow, what a transformation, was needing some inspiration for my own bedroom furniture make-over, and I think this is all I needed, thank you so much for showing all of us in real time, I love the products over view, your video is just so awesome, thank you so much!!! That piece came out just so lovely, I love it!
When using that 600 grit sandpaper, it's helpful to wrap it around something, even an old dry sponge or block of scrap wood. Then you don't waste any of the paper and keep the pressure even.
@@CraftedbyMonnowLane I haven't tried it. I live in the US. Pray for us! But I have a lot of chalk paint on hand. My son talked me out of using Dixie Belle silk paint on my kitchen cabinets and now I'm regretting it. I love the look you achieved!
Your son did well ... there are paints that are much more durable. Take a look at Benjamin Moore Aura range. Half the price, much more durable and thousands of colours. If you take a look at my Facebook page you'll see I've posted a pic of nightstands recently and and then pics of the product. Personally I wouldn't chalk paint kitchen cabinets simply because of the extra work to seal it
Hi May I ask which colour Lignocolor Shabby paint you used on this cupboard? I love Lignocolor and have just done my kitchen in it. Very happy with how it came out. Hope you love their paint as well. Thanks.
I truly thank you for this piece. It is darling. I just wonder..when did we learn about the tag and title of the video? I am slightly confused? Is this a product review or a FaceBook Market place tutorial. It is a wonderful piece but I watched it 3 times or over an hour and missed the education part of the video and 6 adds later. Thank you in advance. Your work is stunning.
@@CraftedbyMonnowLane I am having trouble in the rural parts of the US to sell painted furniture on Facebook. The adds are all over the place. It may be better in your area.
Oh I see what you mean. From what I've read from my subscribers, they find that listing at 6pm on a Friday works well for them. Staging and lighting is massively important and always list as much information as you can, including the measurements
No I wasn't worried about bleed through at all on this one. You can get an idea if it will bleed whilst you're scuff sanding and cleaning. Also this is a pretty dark colour with great coverage. If ever you're not sure, just do a little year area :)
Yeah that must be just your screen I think because this one was definitely Olive. I have used others with the name Olive though and I think the Olives must have gone bad 🤣🤣🤣
Those in the US can buy their Dixie Belle products here 👇👇 www.dixiebellepaint.com?aff=497

You might be able to get hold of this product. I'm not sure which countries it's available but maybe check the Lignocolor website :)
Omg 😍 I LOVE the look of all of those products, especially the brush. I’m a huge lover of round brushes so I NEED to try one of these.

I have just discovered your video's & they are excellent. Will this type of paint & stain give the same or similar effect on pine furniture?
Absolutely! Most of the furniture I paint and stain is pine... I'm cheap ha
Gorgeous! Christine 🇨🇦

Could be doves too. They love our solar panels ha

What is the brand name of the products you used in this video? Love the finished piece.
I show them all in the video :)
How do you feel about priming pieces?
I only ever prime pieces I'm painting in very light colours which I feel will bleed :)
Why does it say dixie belle in the description?
No idea. It's an old video. I'll check and fix thanks. I don't use Dixie Belle anymore
