1,9,Adjusting the doors on the new Sprinter
10,24,To adjust the doors correctly, you will first need to remove the striker pin.
25,33,Note: The striker pin would otherwise push the door into the wrong position during adjustment.
34,38,At the front door hinge, loosen the screws to the door.
39,49,This produces enough play so that you can move the door up and down.
50,56,With these screws loosened, you can also move the door inward and outward.
57,65,Loosen the five screws to the door just enough to make the door movable,
65,70, but not so far that the door|moves on its own.
71,77,Here you can see that the door gap is out of alignment.
78,82,The door urgently needs some realignment.
82,86,With all the door hinge screws loosened,you can now move the
86,90, door in all four directions: Upwards.
91,96,Downwards. The door is now vertically aligned.
97,100,Outwards.Inwards.
101,105,This allows for the in/out adjustment of the door near the front fender.
106,111,Ensure uniform in/out adjustment so that the door turns properly.
112,117,Once the door is correctly positioned, tighten all the screws
117,122, to the specified torque of 23 Nm.
123,130,Reinstall the striker pin on the B-pillar.
131,140,Ensure that the nose of the striker pin points inward.
141,145,Move the striker pin horizontally to set the in/out adjustment
145,150, of the door near the B-pillar.
151,156,Check whether the door lock latches properly and ensure correct in/out adjustment
156,162, at the B-pillar. It may be necessary to reposition the striker pin.
163,166,Once the striker pin is perfectly positioned,
166,176, tighten the screws here to a|torque of 20 Nm.
177,182,Check all the gap dimensions around the front door.
183,191,Run the special feeler gauge tool through the door gaps between the panels.
192,196,The feeler gauge must not get stuck or have too much play.
197,205,Run the gauge completely around the door.
206,210,If everything is OK, the front door is properly realigned.

Size of torx needed to remove a 2003 sprinters front drivers door hinge,
please.

Torx 45 for hinge. E10 for door up&down.
