Nice work on the thumper install. I have also added a 5l aluminium air tank in my system. Helps with blowing out air filters by having a burst of pressurised air. Also good for blowing bull dust off the boots and out of the cab.
Brenno. What a great set up ,as you said a juggling act to make everything fit .I had a canopy like yours set up as a mobile workshop .l had a 25ltr water tank at the front of the axle for wash up ,it had a panel over it to look like a dog box .Yes I know it's small but the idea x2 on each side displacing weight and capacity might work. Good luck mate .
I’d love to see you live out of this thing for a month or so using it every day & driving tracks like the Canning & Anne Beadell. Would make a great video.
For the water tank, get some custom ones made up to sit inside the 100x50mm RHS that your fridge slide and drawers are sitting on to make use of wasted space
I have an 80L water bladder in the bull bar that runs on a 12v pump and a heat exchanger in the engin bay. With a quick connect to a shower handle it is perfect for a quick wash or to get the sand off the kids at the beach.
Brenno, I have a MY18 Dmax spacecab with canvas canopy but alloy frame and alloy roof and rails. Under tray is 60 lt diesel tank and 40 litre water tank, both just gravity feed. PolymateRV in Qld tanks from ebay. We sleep on tray bed base on always set out double swag on a complete tray base full of Drifta drawers that has camping gear one side and recovery gear the other. Take 20lt jerry of diesel and of water, all the usual fruit, winch, bullbar, scrub bars side steps under body armour Lovells GVM upgrade dual batteries and solar up on cab roof that acts as wind deflector over canopy that is 150mm higher than stock headboard height as we sleep in canopy. Has the 270 awning, ensuite tent. Rated recovery points front and rear. Engel fridge and second battery and other gear in rear of spacecab. no tow touring and no roof loads to speak of. Over 3 T GVM but allowable 3600kg max GVM now, so plenty of more carrying capacity in reserve so not to max out suspension. Has shower, toilet and baby Weber Q with gas bottle. My own 12v system installed with DC to DC charger, dual linked batteries, solar with a small panel in canopy with switches and lights. 12v oven too in canopy. only thing left to do is Outback Armour progressive bump stops.
Hey there. Great setup. The steel you used to raise the fridge slide of the tray. How did you fix it to the tray bed? About to do the same with mine. Compete DIY Beginner. Thanks. Mel
Brenno I have flat tray d40 navara single cab I want to turn into a touring rig so I can travel around the country camping and fishing but I don't want to spend big money. On a set up. You have given me some good ideas. But need more ideas
I thought I cooked the oil in mine doing 4 cars worth of tyres on a hot day so decided to open it up. They don't have any oil inside, they just use plastic seals so perfectly fine to mount upside down
Hey buddy, long time between drinks. Loving the setup on the D-Max. You’ve done a top job with it. I got myself a 2014 D40 that I’m currently setting up with a whole host of gear from Supacentre. How good are the 12v Control boxes, absolutely love it. Take care mate. Steve. PS yes, still got the Paj lol
Dunn and Watson 40l water tank. Realistically if your not going off grid for a long time, 40l is prime 🤙👌 Seen you sneaking around the aucampers fb group. Hope u get some great ideas from it .
Netting between grab points in back, makes great storage as well, air comp upside down, ? Not sure bout the position of the stove for cooking your face!,!
Yep the ratchet strap clothes hanger is a great idea! Missus will be stoked
Love to see how you set up the thump max compressor

Nice rig! I like the aircompressor idea!
Thanks! 👍
Go the DMAX!!

Water tank! Considered a bladder? I run a 55 Ltr sits in behind passenger seat and a collapsible 20 ltr from Bunnings
nice setup Brenno
when are kings going to release a drop down fridge slide
oi i agree with this. other fridge slides cost double my kings fridge
Check boab water and diesel tanks, you might be able to install under the draws in the canopy, saving it from rocks
Superb setup. Great Ute!
Check out abbertanks for your water. They’ll make a custom poly tank to whatever dimensions you give them. Priced close to a off the shelf.
Do you still have the dmax brenno ? How has it been reliability wise ?

Gee that's a bit freaky, I was looking at making a very very similar set up. Do you you mind me asking what canopy that is please?
is all that stuff just.to keep the fridge running?
Cool ride 🤘🏼
This is the setup I am chasing, will have to change my name obviously though 😂 love it Brenno 👍
Cheers legend! It's not the flashest thing but I love it and it's been a faithful ute and setup for us. Thanks for watching! Brenno
Brenno on the skateboard in the back? Couldnt imagine it. Where's the link to ya mates videos for the 12v details? Cheers

Hey Brenno, nice rig!! What brand & where did you get your under tray toolboxes?
So the thumper max is alright to run upside down?
I haven’t done it yet, just worrying about oil going above pistons.

Noice Vid.. we have a 2022 DMAX done for our Big Lap. 60lt water tank fitted.
1 vitally important thing all 4WDers need to remember, make sure your insurance is up to date with everything covered, should something occur.
Dunn and Watson 40l water tank. Realistically if your not going off grid for a long time, 40l is prime 🤙👌

Hi Brenno
You said you paid $3000 for the canopy but interested where you got it from or was it second hand from someone
He said it was cracked.
Netting between grab points in back, makes great storage as well, air comp upside down, ? Not sure bout the position of the stove for cooking your face!,!
Would be pretty rough putting your dog in that “dog box” haha. Great setup mate
auto or manual?
Yep....this is definitely your “latest one” 🤣 Great review tho mate 😉
How do you get into the tent with that awning setup.
Drivers side of tent has access through side window. Also ladder can be attached there as well.
Where was this filmed
Some New place just South of Wales.
Great stuff brenno 🤙🏽👌🏽 neat truck i just got me self a mp300 dualcab navara st 2015 model 5 months ago and love it to bits 2nd hand kitted out by arb

Brenno do you have a youtube account
Headboard water tank. Dunn and waston
I would be very worried about cooking on that stove, just the right hight to splash hot water or oil in your face.
Well it's lucky you don't have to cook on that stove isn't it!
