As a pilot I've always used a chronograph watch. The 'whiz wheel' functions are more for calculating speed=ditstance/time calculations etc, however, we do have separate equipment to do this, making it just a bit of a novelty on a watch. It's also nice to have a timing function when making diversions etc. :)
youtubers who recommend these types of fashion brands are usually paid and sponsored to do so, they want that $$$. every REAL man knows their watches, i'm sure RMRS knows his stuff (except when he's sponsored lol)
I love field, pilot's and diver's watches. Their military background and improvements on how to tell time is just great. Most of them are really simple in design as well.
Chronograph! They always make a statement. I am a watchmaker as well as a watch enthusiast. Chronographs always get noticed by watch lovers, and just passersby. They can be very sporty and large, or refined and unobtrusive. But the multi-register dials, and push buttons always stand out from traditional watches which are so overly commonplace especially in the male realm. Business suit, or or wetsuit the chronograph reigns supreme as far as getting noticed and being a conversations starter.
U mean refined, not refund? Chronograph? I've always had an obsession with them. People cannot understand why i always am looking at them...and want to buy.
I noticed you wear suits most of the time. If you could show us different outfits like smart casual, casual, nautical, or anything else besides matching different colors in your suit would be awesome. Thanks!
+The Watch Watcher Look up the word nautical. The accurate definition is "dealing with ships or sailing" so maybe A SAILOR?!? How about doing some research before being brash next time!
+ The Game Explorer My bad, I understand now. I can see how someone would like a sailor/nautical look, sounds a good choice for a night out, ideally with a relax-fit blazer that has gold (or at least metallic) buttons.
I just finished reading your eBook and it's incredibly comprehensive. I cannot begin to imagine how much work went into making it. It covers everything a man needs to know. Great job Antonio, I can always expect an A class performance from you!
Thanks for asking Antonio! I would enjoy more on-location footage. Obviously home base is the studio, but seeing you cover topics out and about would be an added value! Also, I'd wager you enjoy the outdoors, lots of potential there! "3 Reasons to Skeet Shoot," "5 Reasons to Hike," not exactly style related, but definitely man-related! But in general bringing new topics like wristwatches to the channel is always something I'm glad to see. Cheers, Andrew
And why is that a compliment? Being able to manipulate people into buying something thry dont need or buying something thats worth much much less than they paid for it is not a compliment, it's a disgusting way of making a living. Finding honest salesman is very hard nowadays, everyone is trying to rip you off
My favorite style is dress for simplicity and I think another word that comes to mind is purist. The reason being you can go very simple as I , just simply a timepiece that gives me the time and looks nice.
my favorite is the dive watch. as a physician I wash my hands many times daily and my wash gets its share of this water frequently. also it seems to serve all purposes
you get a dive watch because you wash your hands every hour? if a watch can withstand washing your hands and don't get water inside qualifies as a DIVE WATCH. everything is not what it was in these shitty times
My two favorite watches at the moment are my brathwait minimalist automatic, and my seiko 5 automatic. I love the seiko 5 because of its versatile styling, throw a leather strap on, and I can wear it with a suit, throw a NATO band on, and it becomes the utilitarian. The minimalist I absolutely love, and is my favorite watch to wear right now.
I like G-Shock style watch: It's tough, water proof, mud proof, it will survive drops... Plus if you have solar recharging and radio controlled time, you can really rely on them.
I love wearing Field watches as I dress casually on most days but I do love the Dress watch and anticipate wearing one when I do dress up. The simplicity of the Dress watch is just classy to me.

+joseph stohr the wenger i have is the one with the black inside, the black rubber watchband and the unpainted bezel, i tried to put it into one of your 5 styles but im not sure, the one fits the most is the dive watch

Wiz wheels?? The correct term is e6b. The only tool pilots need to make ALL calculations. Pretty awesome, but does take practice to understand and use.
Ray Maldonado whiz wheel is a suitable term to describe a generic mechanical slidewheel. The e6b is only one particular design for aviation, there are many others used by pilots.
Your Pilot whiz-wheel is called an E6-B Flight Computer. We don't really use them anymore but i always keep mine close. I always wear a Rolex GMT Master II or a Breitling Colt GMT...or an Airwolf GMT. But for diving, or even for ultimate dress watch, nothing compares to a classic Sea Dweller. To me it's the classiest watch ever made. Cheers - Nice clip.
Can you guys imagine how much hard work and time he has put in that book ? Antonio can you make a video about how to manage your time or if you already made one. Can you give me a link ? By the way this video was really informative. I have almost the exact same watch 03:20 But I don't know what strap to use , it has the same as the one in the picture and it's pretty crappy. :D

+Red Bolt We didn't exactly tackle here wearing a belt with formal suits but yes JP is correct! As long as it's well groomed then that's fine. Here's an article on different beard styles: www.realmenrealstyle.com/how-grow-beard/ Choose one that best compliments your face.
gread vid! about the "whizz-wheel", we are able to quickly convert units abroad eg fuel masses and volymes, estimate time to points not in the FMS (airplane computer), make basic calculations, BUT most importantly we get the chicks to ask if we are pilots ;)
Oh, and my personal favourites are field watches with their roots in WW2. I've got a Bulova 'Hack' which is closely modelled on the watches issued to US officers. I ditched the green canvas strap and got a mid-brown leather. It looks awesome, is extremely legible and keeps fantastic time. About 2 seconds a MONTH out! Swiss chronometers are permitted 10 seconds a DAY.
In my personal opinion, the best watch in any occasion is the Rolex Submariner which takes all you have said in your video: Watch dress: James Bond style (without the Omega). Field watch: Rugged, good construction. Aviator watch: adventurous style and dial clearly visible in all circumstances, I know many pilots who prefers it to Breitling. Dive watch: no complaints. You can use Rolex at any occasion, it is an automatic movement, no need for battery, its price increases years after years. Timeless, highly rated for resale. Probably my ultimate choice. Everyone can have one if at first sight it is not affordable for many people just like me. Since I bought my first watch when I was 18, I bought more than a dozen cheap watches, which have broken down or are not worth anything today. If I accumulate the total amount of my purchases, they are worth a Rolex Submariner. Be smart, buy smart. If you liked watches, I recommend making a loan or saving to acquire one instead of several watches throughout your life. No regrets. Other spending similar sums without noticing it with several iphones and Macs or other gadgets throughout their lives while not rich in life, so Rolex is quite possible to buy one. For people who can afford it, it's another story.
Aviator watches traditionally did have a lot of functions built in (whiz wheels, multiple timezones, chronographs, etc). The functionality for most of these features have been superseded for most pilots by equipment that is more readily available in the cockpit, such as digital gauges or electronic kneeboards and tablets. The functions are certainly still useful, but are more a novelty than necessity at this point. For most modern-day pilots the additional GMT hand, which allows you to set the UTC time separate from the local timezone is a great feature. When flying through multiple timezones, most of your flight planning and filing will be using UTC or ZULU time so it is very useful when able to quickly reference on your wrist. Ease of reading is also a necessity for pilot watches. Since lighting conditions can change quickly in the air, a dark face with light hands make it much easier to read the watch quickly. Finally, a good illumination source is a must. Tridium or other radioactive chemicals are fantastic for pilot watches since they maintain their luminescence for a long time which quick recharge times. Electronic backlighting (e.i. Timex Indiglo) is a great alternative but requires a battery source to work. Unfortunately for watch enthusiasts, most pilots are adopting the functionality and modern benefits of smart watches over traditional timepieces. But just like comparing the experience of flying a DC-3 to a 737, sometimes you just can't beat the good ole days.
The turning bezel on a dive watch actually has nothing to do with oxygen (you'll always know you're oxygen from your pressure gauge), but rather for your decompression time.
As a diver I would replace the rubber or silicone strap with a NATO strap. That way if you lose a pin, you don't lose the watch. They get snagged easier than you think and it's saved my watch several times.
Thank you a lot for this video. You enlighten me and now I know few basic watch styles. Recently I get as a gift of my choice Citizen Nighthawk watch EU, RC, Titanium. I find it is very quality and on the other hand light watch. Never have to replace the battery and never have to set it up. Thank you once more for this kind and useful video. Regards from Bosnia and Hercegovina
Hey Antonio just a little thing on the aviation watched if they have a wiz wheel also know as the E6B (ww2 mil designation) they look cool but will probably never be used. 1. They are way to small to make a precise calculation because a hair off could mean a 30 minute error in the calculation of a fuel burn. And 2. After you're flight training and the Dead reckoning stage you'll use automated computes. They look cool and if you can remember how to use them it's a cool trick to show your friends but it's more of a homage than a necessity!
From the 5 styles you displayed my favorite would be the divers watch. I own a few Citizen and Invictas however I'm bewildered you went with the Racing watch over a Military style..?? By far my favorite and they seem to be breaking into higher markets other than the Frogman or Mudman G-shocks... great demo tho, maybe the military watch will be in your ebook....
I love my Movado but my Bulovas are my go to watches for wispy and style. Honestly, for the price, Bulovas are beautifully designed and elegant for any occasion.
+Robert Dominguez It is, techincally. But i think in todays society, it is practically dead. I can think of 2 events where it is used, and they are not accessible to the public at all. So Antonio chooses to leave it out.
+Robert Dominguez I have heard of white tie at the opera before, and I also know that at the University of Oxford in England, there is an (at least one) annual white tie party
The “Whiz Wheel” is known as an E6B and is a simple yet effective “computer” which helps pilots preform calculations for many flight conditions quickly.
Yeah you're right, but the main purpose is to flaunt then without showing that you're flaunting them on purpose, and plus, watches bigger than your cuffs don't really ads to your style, they just seem over sized.
I had some guy from raytheon with his shirt cuff over his watch and it makes it look like your shirt cuff is too long or baggy, I know my rolex can barely fit under a tailored cuff nevermind an invicta, maybe one of those small army watches can pull it off cause it looks small enough to just slide in, ive also seen people put their watches over their dress shirt cuff, it looked so stupid but these are just my opinions.
The most I have is an Apple Series 6 (Blue) and a G-Shock Mudman (Black). Really looking to expand my watch collection because to be honest I hate charging my apple one all the time.
Antonio, I just read your free ebook and I just wanted to say great job. Quality content. You were right, it will be the only reference I will ever need. Love your videos! Best
Good video, but a watch with 100m of water resistance is in no way a dive watch, that water resistance is for going to the pool or the sea with it, but only dive a few meters. If you want to actually dive, you should go with at least 200 to 300m of water resistance, bearing the diver's mark. And if diving is your profession you should go at least to a diver's 1000m.
JohnnyAverage All watchmakers do that. They use IIII instead of IV because of symmetry. IIII and VIII are more symmetrical than IV and VIII. Besides, there's no rule in Roman Numerals that IV is the correct one to use than IIII.
I own daniel welington watch and I really recommend it because it can be super casual but at the same time really elegant and classy (if u use dw genuine leather strap..). It has minimalistic design so it's even cooler an it goes with anything :)
My friends, this channel and the website are the Real Deal. The first and only places of all things Men! If you can't find it on either of those two, it's because... It doesn't exist.
Being a pilot, I got a Torgeon aviator watch with an E6B on it (real pilots don't call it anything else). The E6B is a circular version of the old fashioned slide rule used before electronic calculators became prevalent. Student pilots are still required to learn how to use one as part of training. Virtually every calculation in aviation can be somehow done on an E6B. However, the numbers are so small on the one on my watch that I can't read them so it really has just become a cool looking watch. It also has a yellow sweep hand that makes one complete revolution every 24 hours so you can tell what part of the day you are in.
Awesome video brother.. my older brother is in the military..n while growing up with him i used to think him of a spendthrift guy spending so much on buying different types watches.... but now i know what a good collection of watches means to a gentleman... i envy his collection... n at the same time im building up my own :-)
My personal favourite watches are Daniel Wellingtons. They're very simple and can be dressed down or up, depending on a leather or nylon band. The case is also really thin and isn't too bulky. Not to mention they're reasonably affordable!
Dive watch bezels are used to track time underwater in conjunction with depth gauge so you can track the buildup of inert gas. There's a separate gauge for tank pressure.
Would like to correct you on 2 points you mentioned regarding the dive watch: 1. Divers breathe air, compressed air, not oxygen, it is true that some dive operations, mainly military use pure oxygen as breathing gas, but those are very small operations that require very specific dive gear, without going in to specifics about whats called Enreached air, it is safe to say that about 90% of divers use SCUBA gear, to be used mainly with compressed air that has only around 20% oxygen. 2. The dial that turns only to the left has nothing to do with oxygen or air, but has everything to do with whats called bottom time, that is directly connected to Decompression sickness..
your informations are not as complete as the Urban Gentry's channel but heres some serious knowledge for "beginers" into the watch world ... great stuff and great channel!
Crocodile leather with an elegance of simplicity for a dress watch and a stainless steel with a slight hint of chunkiness but still being reasonably simple for a sports/casual watch
Great video as always. Very informative. My personale preference would be the Racing style chronographic watches. I find them more masculine, especially in the 48-52mm dial size.Love brands like, Breitling, Omega, IWC, Hulot etc.Second to that my preference would be the dress style Watch. The are so stylish and timeless (funny thing to say about a object who's suppose to show the time)A dress Watch with a tailored suit, makes up ad very nice combination.Lastly, what about smart watches? you seamed to skip that category all together.
My Grandfather(military) just passed down what looks like a Seiko aviator watch. The only things on it that make sense to me are the analog sticks. There's a small white hand that swiftly spins a '360 when after putting strong pressure on the adjustment dials. It's like a gold rimmed Mayan time machine on my wrist. I have some research to do.
Whiz wheels are also good for travel since the can be used as currency converters... Also, you mixed up the tachymeter function, you time for one unit of whatever and the tachymeter tells you the average units per hour. Some aviation watches have them too. They are useful for calculating ground speed (time for one nautical mile), fuel burn (time for a gallon in a small plane or 1000lbs in a big plane), etc...
superb information....👍👍👍👍👍 till now I'm just using my watches without knowing it's types and information that you've said.... thanks for your information... great job..👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very general overview. I have worn a Rolex Blue face Submariner every day for over 15 years.. except for Black Tie, it goes with everything, except hunting, or outdoor adventures. a Luminox is a great watch for that. Two watches by name . Just select the color and style of each and thats it. And the Rolex is worth more used today than what I paid for it new. Good investment.
Nice concise vid Antonio, I too am glad to see you delving into men's accessories. I for one am pleased that the ridiculously big watch trend seems to be waning - good riddance! After all, you just can't beat grandpa's 36mm 1953 Omega Seamaster bumper for style and sophistication. For those on a budget, Seiko offers a great running mechanical day date for well under $100, (SNK803), Comes with a canvas strap, but swap it out for oiled leather and you're still well under a Benjamin. Something just feels right about knowing there are tiny gears interacting on your wrist. Keep up the good work, and thanks!
......as for me, I absolutely need a calendar watch;that is with time, day and date on it. My schedule is chaotic and knowing the date and day is just as essential as the time. The calendar feature is the very first thing I look for in a watch. Most other things in a watch are superfluous (like band type and color).
Dress watch - Patek Calatrava, JLC Reverso (i dont like AP) Complications - Patek Perpetual Calendar, Vacheron Perpetual, JLC thin moonphase, Breguet classique Racing Chrono - Rolex Daytona, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, Heuer Monaco (not Tag Heuer) Diver - Rolex Deepsea Sea dweller, Omega seamaster, Rolex submariner GMT - Rolex GMT master 2, Rolex Explorer Pilot - IWC, Breguet type XX trans atlantic Field - Panerai Luminor A couple of choices that come to mind, but you do definitely need to have deep pockets...
My word(s) that describe each watch type: Dress watch: subtlety or elusiveness. Field watch: Robust. Aviator watch: Sinuous. Dive watch: Unappealing. Chronograph: Desirable
Antonio: Love your style tips and subscribed! I must point out one issue that kept bothering me, though. At appx. 6:00 you say "dive watches have Tritium illumination". I have ~30 dive watches and only a couple have any Tritium lume as it technically isn't even "Lume" as most watch lovers know it. Tritium is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen that is utilized by being trapped in a tiny vial which also contains some type of phosphor(ous). The interaction (or: radioactive emission) causes the phosphorous to lose electrons in the visible spectrum. Our eyes percieve this as a constant "glow". Almost all dive watches use luminous paint on the markers and indices, but not ALL luminous paint has radioactive material; actually VERY FEW actually contain this. Most Tritium glows so faintly that it can only be PERCIEVED AS BRIGHT with dark-adjusted eyes in NEAR TOTAL DARKNESS! Several companies have combined Tritium tubes and Luminova paint to achieve the best of both worlds: a watch that "glows in the dark" and "glows in a naturally lighted room". The latter is what most people expect from a Tritium watch, but such just isn't the case. I own one Tritium watch that is bright enough to see in a room with natural light (no electric lights on, just ambient light naturally coming through windows) during the day, and that watch uses the much rarer "T100" tubes which emit higher radiation levels than the MUCH MORE COMMON "T25" tubes. A Japanese company called Nemoto developed a PAINT called Luminova, that is excited by both visible and UV light, and THAT is what is commonly known as "lume", "luminous", etc... Even the Iconic Rolex SUB stopped using Tritium around 1998. Some enterprising companies have used "lume" AND Tritium tubes to produce a glow that is both initially impressive under certain lighting AND long-lasting. They can be found with a quick web search... BTW; "Super Luminova" refers to a certain spec of the 'Luminova' paint, reserved as a Trade Name by Nemoto. I Love the channel! Totally agree with the style tips on dress watches, especially. Thanks for all the effort that goes into producing your channel. Look forward to each new vid!

+TheFlyingMuppE Haha! :)
Fascinating
Oh, and my personal favourites are field watches with their roots in WW2.
I've got a Bulova 'Hack' which is closely modelled on the watches issued to US officers. I ditched the green canvas strap and got a mid-brown leather.
It looks awesome, is extremely legible and keeps fantastic time. About 2 seconds a MONTH out! Swiss chronometers are permitted 10 seconds a DAY.
Did you forget the "Navy" category? I think it should complete the list.
For people who can afford it, it's another story.
i love chronographs. check out citizen Eco-drive skyhawk and navihawk series.
Both watches look fantastic!!!
nighthawks 👌🏾
Hi Antonio I have a Pocket watch and a wrist watch one for work and one for dress
+REVEREND DAVID HAMM Cool! Thanks for sharing.
what a coincidence ! I was confused this week about Watch styles and here you are uploading this video ! Huge shoutout from Tunisia !
+Hamza Dhaoui Very cool!
as always, very informative...thanks for sharing.
+Jim D You're very welcome sir!
personal favorite is the Fossil Men's Townsman Auto Automatic and the Bulova Men's 97A109 Bulova Series 160 Mechanical Watch
Informative and interesting as always.
+Pete Wilson Thanks!
+Real Men Real Style you're very welcome.
Field and Dress watches are my favorite. I actually have two dressy Seiko Field watches. My SRP713 and SRP715. Extremely versatile.
+Xombiticus Good choice. I'm sure you get compliments :)
+Real Men Real Style A few. :)
I just hate those digital watches. My friend got one, gave a lot money fot that, and it looks like something for kids.
Anyway, great video as always!
+Batric Garic What style of watch do you wear?
+Real Men Real Style still havent decide, but it will definitely be something like that aviator one.
Батрић Гарић
There are different watches for different situations.
Батрић Гарић m
Buy one first.. then you can comment about others' watch...
I like chronograph watches in stainless steel cases with either leather or metal bands. Mechanical preferred but not against quartz.
The turning bezel on a dive watch actually has nothing to do with oxygen (you'll always know you're oxygen from your pressure gauge), but rather for your decompression time.
Good on ya...
As a diver I would replace the rubber or silicone strap with a NATO strap. That way if you lose a pin, you don't lose the watch. They get snagged easier than you think and it's saved my watch several times.
That ever so casual seiko at 3:15
Thank you a lot for this video.
Dive watches today rarely have tritium lume anymore. It's mostly present in vintage watches.
I think he meant the GTLS tubes found on Traser H3, Ball, Luminox etc.
Yeah but even that is not common in dive watches.
+MrMiggoH Yeah it's usually in military watches as the glow is permanent and not dependent on external charging.
Deep Blue are such brand - dive + tritium
Vostok Europe uses tritium tubes.
Andrew Wilkey you need a manual backup in case of instrument failure, that's why early astronauts wore the omega spacemaster..
This is the best video you have ever made, can I please have a watch now 😊
From the 5 styles you displayed my favorite would be the divers watch. I own a few Citizen and Invictas however I'm bewildered you went with the Racing watch over a Military style..?? By far my favorite and they seem to be breaking into higher markets other than the Frogman or Mudman G-shocks... great demo tho, maybe the military watch will be in your ebook....
G-shock
I love my Movado but my Bulovas are my go to watches for wispy and style. Honestly, for the price, Bulovas are beautifully designed and elegant for any occasion.
Isn't white tie the highest form of menswear? Genuine question.
+Robert Dominguez It is, techincally. But i think in todays society, it is practically dead. I can think of 2 events where it is used, and they are not accessible to the public at all. So Antonio chooses to leave it out.
+Banana Hunter Pro Thanks! What are the two events where white tie is used?
+Banana Hunter Pro I also think it must be mentioned that a wrist watch with white tie is so incorrect on so many style levels.
+Robert Dominguez Yes - but it's incredibly rare and therefore I just went with the highest form most men will ever wear!
+Robert Dominguez I have heard of white tie at the opera before, and I also know that at the University of Oxford in England, there is an (at least one) annual white tie party
I personally loved Dress and Divers watch. Thanks for this video!
Omega
Thank you for the video. I am a whatch person and i happen to like just one type of whatch, the aviator, I am a pilot and that's the main reason.
Great video Antonio!
+Lachlan Kelly Thank you, sir!
The “Whiz Wheel” is known as an E6B and is a simple yet effective “computer” which helps pilots preform calculations for many flight conditions quickly.
why would you hide your nice watch under your sleeve?
Adam Davies So as to not seem that you're flaunting your money?
Shouldnt even wear it then if its not going to be seen
Well I'm not really criticizing you, I'm just 17, so you obviously know better than me, I was also stating my own opinions xD.
The most I have is an Apple Series 6 (Blue) and a G-Shock Mudman (Black). Really looking to expand my watch collection because to be honest I hate charging my apple one all the time.
1 more watch type. The digital watch
Which one is your favorite?
Antonio, I just read your free ebook and I just wanted to say great job. Quality content. You were right, it will be the only reference I will ever need. Love your videos!
Best
Good video, but a watch with 100m of water resistance is in no way a dive watch, that water resistance is for going to the pool or the sea with it, but only dive a few meters. If you want to actually dive, you should go with at least 200 to 300m of water resistance, bearing the diver's mark. And if diving is your profession you should go at least to a diver's 1000m.
Diver and field watch's is what I seem to gravitate to the most, thanks for the video. Love collecting watches.
At 1:38 Did anyone else notice the roman numeral IIII instead of IV? Please educate me if I'm wrong.
JohnnySX
IIII
XIIX
Are symetric!
JohnnyAverage All watchmakers do that. They use IIII instead of IV because of symmetry. IIII and VIII are more symmetrical than IV and VIII. Besides, there's no rule in Roman Numerals that IV is the correct one to use than IIII.
I just ordered a Citizen Pilots watch but lately I have been impresses with these Skeleton watches.
+johnnieace45 It's a trend now and people are raging about it.
I can’t read those time of watches so I always get digital lol
Bruh
I own daniel welington watch and I really recommend it because it can be super casual but at the same time really elegant and classy (if u use dw genuine leather strap..). It has minimalistic design so it's even cooler an it goes with anything :)
+gregor žugec The simpler design, the more formal it is.
smartwatch
Ew
+Corndog4382 I work in the IT business and love my gadgets, and you've got to admit that the Moto360's can look pretty elegant.
+Marius Schär they look good but no smart watch matches the beauty of a good mechanical watch
+Corndog4382 that's true, I do really appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into a mechanical watch.
The eBook cover is actually a smartwatch from LG
My friends, this channel and the website are the Real Deal. The first and only places of all things Men! If you can't find it on either of those two, it's because... It doesn't exist.
I personally like chronograph watches which i bought a tissot chronograph watch recently and i love it.
Sounds awesome.
+Graham Braun Nice!
Man! It put a smile on my face.so there is an aviator, diver and dress watch that i wear everyday.
+shaun aljur abrenica Which style is your favorite?
+Real Men Real Style i love the dress watch simple but elegant.
My personal favourite is the aviator watch. I have an aviator watch its just classy and nice and can be formal and semi-formal
Dive watch bezels are used to track time underwater in conjunction with depth gauge so you can track the buildup of inert gas. There's a separate gauge for tank pressure.
I just bought a new watch today, its absolutely stunning!
+Steve Mathews Awesome! What type of watch did you buy?
Its called A jet Watch in silver and gold, here is a link to the watch, the brand is Guess. :)
shop.guess.net.au/w2/i4344924_3091015/
Would like to correct you on 2 points you mentioned regarding the dive watch:
Great video as always... I recently purchased a white and tan Melbourne minimal watch from the fifth because of your videos and I love it
+Peter Palumbo Very cool - wear it and love it and then look for more :)
your informations are not as complete as the Urban Gentry's channel but heres some serious knowledge for "beginers" into the watch world ... great stuff and great channel!
+Marc Parenteau I go into a little bit more detail in this free eBook: www.realmenrealstyle.com/watch-guide-free-ebook/
My favorite type is always the classical perpetual calendar. The calendar also looks very good in combination with an chronograph.
The readability of Aviator Type B (the word war II aviator watch) is the main reason I love it.
Crocodile leather with an elegance of simplicity for a dress watch and a stainless steel with a slight hint of chunkiness but still being reasonably simple for a sports/casual watch
+Umer Waziri Nice!
no problem, overall you have great information and it's nice to see someone get into the watch world and leave the my phone is my watch mentality.
Antonio you talk about the different style of watches but you did not talk about the Swatch watch. They are a fun watch for casual outfits.
+Jonas Voltzmann That's for another video! Thanks for sharing your watch collection.
Absolutely decent content. Very calm and professional tone and straight to the point.
+bronxbomber252 Good point!
superb information....👍👍👍👍👍
till now I'm just using my watches without knowing it's types and information that you've said....
thanks for your information...
great job..👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
+Raja Stark Thank you sir, and thanks for watching!
+Real Men Real Style
e book is simply awesome.....
it's an completed package...
thank you sir..👍
+John Manley Exactly! Love your comment - thanks sir!
......as for me, I absolutely need a calendar watch;that is with time, day and date on it. My schedule is chaotic and knowing the date and day is just as essential as the time. The calendar feature is the very first thing I look for in a watch. Most other things in a watch are superfluous (like band type and color).
I love the G-Shock style because I always wear sport clothes and it fits to most of them
Dress watch - Patek Calatrava, JLC Reverso (i dont like AP)
Complications - Patek Perpetual Calendar, Vacheron Perpetual, JLC thin moonphase, Breguet classique
Racing Chrono - Rolex Daytona, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, Heuer Monaco (not Tag Heuer)
Diver - Rolex Deepsea Sea dweller, Omega seamaster, Rolex submariner
GMT - Rolex GMT master 2, Rolex Explorer
Pilot - IWC, Breguet type XX trans atlantic
Field - Panerai Luminor
A couple of choices that come to mind, but you do definitely need to have deep pockets...
When should I wear my G shock mudmaster?
My word(s) that describe each watch type:
Dress watch: subtlety or elusiveness.
Field watch: Robust.
Aviator watch: Sinuous.
Dive watch: Unappealing.
Chronograph: Desirable
+Paul Brosnan Great observation! But still depends on a person's preference and lifestyle :)
+Paul Brosnan
"Dive watch: Unappealing" lol.. You've gone mad, my friend.
Paul J. Brosnan Aww, you've made my Skx007 upset now.
Haha respect bro
Antonio:
Love your style tips and subscribed!
Love a good racing watch. They have more going on than a dress or dive watch, but not as cluttered as a lot of aviators can get.
Great hand movements; it conveys class!
i like dress watch over casual when it comes to keeping it basic and a dive watch over a field watch when i need something more robust and durable
