Built using an FX Dream Tac chassis and an Air Arms S510 TR tactical.
I cover all the jigs and important dimensions I use.

Great video... thanks...I made a grip for my fx impact...using hand file and hand drill... Made out of teak wood.... Isn't as perfect as you did... thanks again for sharing this video

I buy the blanks pre made.its not the sort of thing you can easily do without specialised gear. There's some vids on UA-cam by cwp in finland that show how they do it though 😉
I really enjoy these videos, and tips. I've made myself a couple of grips for my impact, one out of walnut and I have some good quality, but plain coloured plywood. Any tips on darkening it before oiling?

to make the laminate, do I "simply" soak birch plates in dye, let them dry and then glue them together? Will that work to have coloured the wood through and through?
It's not easily dyed at home
It has to be done under pressure to get the veneers to fully saturate. Before being laminated together again under serious pressure.

I'm currently not taking on any commission builds for the AR type grips unfortunately. I'm looking into having some designs moulded in a tough polymer going forward.

I dont make the ar grips to order as they are too time consuming. However I do occasionally make a few grips and sell them on my fb page (tilly's gun stocks)😉
