@@daughterofChrist04No the Scripture says we grieve the Holy Spirit. He remembers our sin no more, but if we turn back to sin He sure will remember. That is not a gospel of works. That is obeying our Lord who died for us in order to free us from sin, not to continue in it. Whoever you are learning this from is in error. Stick to the Truth.

That's what we get to rest in, the work was finished on the cross. it also meant to explain the attitude we should have when we truly repent. an attitude of let me rush to my Father He is grieved for me because i have fallen into a lie of sin and He knows this hurts me. that kindness and love are what draws a person in. and i'm saying The Holy spirit isnt grieved in the sense that He's so hurt personally that you did that thing to Him so He's gonna like stop talking to you because He's mad at you. No, He says approach my throne of grace WITH BOLDNESS that you may recieve it. He's sad when we sin because He knows it hurts US and when we sin, He knows it gives the devil a foothold to put shame on us so we run and hide from God and fall into more sin. He is grieved that we go through this struggling process (but he uses even our mistakes to teach us and build our faith), He is grieved for us when we are believing lies of the enemy and not living in the true blessing He has for us. He wants us to rest in His finished work and promise of salvation and the more we seek Him the more we learn to love Him. But knowing this love and this kind attitude of the Holy Spirit DRAWS us into true repentance and He will remember those sins no more. When He looks at His children He searches their hearts to help uproot the bad in there, yes, but He also looks at you and sees you are covered in the blood that Jesus spilled for your sins. that's a precious gift we shouldnt waste. how could we who died to sin still live in it??? i'm saying when we are children of Christ, He teaches us. He teaches grace to be our motivation and not works. when we understand this, it builds are faith, which is turn fuels how we act. when we learn God's love language is obedience and how much He loves us, it's then we are willing to surrender. stay blessed, i'm sorry if some of my words confused some people, i hope this clears it up.

I've been trying to change certain things within myself for almost two months because of the conviction I have from this chapter. Being in the military for almost 25 years and cursing and having crude humor, speaking about the bad things people do "in secret"...and more. I get hit with a pang of conviction every time I do these foolish things because I know it's all wrong. Repentance doesn't just happen overnight, sadly. I'm turning, but slowly, but I AM turning...so this video's message helps remind me and bolsters me, so - thank you. I just had a lengthy conversation with a co-worker who understands the struggle...so this video even affected HIM. I already copy/pasted Ephesians 5 and sent to my wife, too, cuz I realized I never told her why I've been watching my mouth for the last two months...and it will give us something to talk about after work today. Thanks for your focus on this subject today...it randomly popped up in my feed and I felt the nudge to listen to it because "grieving the Holy Spirit" is what started me down this path two months ago (well, longer than that, but my sole focus this time is on Ephesians 5). I have only recently started really trying to find Jesus. I am a sinner and struggle with my faith. Tonight the Lord told me that He loves us so much that He granted us a choice to love Him and to receive His Perfect Love. Without that choice it would not be perfect love. At least, I think that is what He told me. It popped in my head while watching a suic*de NDE video on UA-cam. Then your video came up right after and you read the passage where Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him and Peter says "Lord you know all things, you know that I love you." Hello 🤗 thank you for sharing this 😊 I was visiting a church yesterday, and the preacher was so afraid of keeping everyone too Long or preaching too long, and he was making it so obvious, and i told him not to worry about taking too long because thats not what pastors are supposed to do 😊 My cousin is also a pastor and he doesn't run his church by clocks, but he says we will stay however long that the Lord wanted us to because thats the way it is supposed to be God bless you ❤️

the context for this isthat He is grieving FOR US, when we sin bc He knows that we arent walking in true blessing and He wants us to have life and blessing, not the false hope of sin. but please know we cannot like make God feel so hurt by our actions as believers that He wants to leave us or no longer hear our prayers, this is false. We are covered by the blood, our salvation is secure. If you are a true Christian do NOT fear that you have hurt or dissapointed the Lord. May His kind heart draw you to obedience, not fear of punishment. those who fear have not been perfected in love, so allow God to continue loving you. His heart that hurts FOR you is a heart of kindness because He loves you so much.
In my humble opinion Jesus needs the rest of us to respect the fact that what he really needs is uncooked wheat which is his seed so he can be free from original sin, and people like myself can continue to take the nails off the road so there can have a flat tire prevented, and Jesus can be saved from everyone trying to need him as an excuse for their sins
I see myself as sitting on the front lines of what it is you're talking about because my Ministry has to do with pointing out the very specific hairline differences between what actually is truth and what we've been believing. Like not taking into account the power of the word of our mouths and that what we confess is what we have declared unto Heaven that we believe. And how when we go through suffering that we should not blame God and say that it is from him that we receive our suffering nor should we believe if we are a saint covered by the blood of Jesus Christ that God is doing it to punish us. The word of God says that we overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of Our Testimony which means that both of those need to be an agreement.
God says do unto others what you would have others do unto you. God says nobody hungry nobody thirsty. God says there is no such thing as privacy. I am a guy whom has stilled a storm before, but I am not Jewish I look more like you. And I can be paid to be myself, if there is any movement in the new age it is different forms of travel, most places I have been to were not bad places, when I meet a person trying to justify their sins even in the name of Jesus, but don’t stay in their life, cut them off from my life. I don't think there's anything wrong about being distracted by life, which Jesus said God wanted us to enjoy more fully. It's more like desire that distracts people. maybe I wasn't attractive enough for them, but women always bored me or annoyed me with bad attitudes and general unpleasantness. I would always have said they weren't alive and enjoying life, and it seems it was usually because they had one bad boy or another on their minds. They would transform and show a phony sort of imitation of life when they met one of those men, even when they didn't know them, and even incredibly, when they were obvious psychopaths and liars. They weren't being distracted by life. They seemed to be incapable of being distracted by life. They usually didn't care about love or even the attention they got, because they were focused only on a dream of getting some particular man's attention. When you find love, let life distract you all day long. Jesus said something like that when the pharisees asked why his followers weren't fasting. He said they were together and living. Fasting and prayer is for the bad times when you have no life and no love.

I have only recently started really trying to find Jesus. I am a sinner and struggle with my faith. Tonight the Lord told me that He loves us so much that He granted us a choice to love Him and to receive His Perfect Love. Without that choice it would not be perfect love. At least, I think that is what He told me. It popped in my head while watching a suic*de NDE video on UA-cam. Then your video came up right after and you read the passage where Jesus asks Peter if he loves Him and Peter says "Lord you know all things, you know that I love you." That can't be a coincidence, I don't think.

I was visiting a church yesterday, and the preacher was so afraid of keeping everyone too Long or preaching too long, and he was making it so obvious, and i told him not to worry about taking too long because thats not what pastors are supposed to do 😊
My cousin is also a pastor and he doesn't run his church by clocks, but he says we will stay however long that the Lord wanted us to because thats the way it is supposed to be

the context for this isthat He is grieving FOR US, when we sin bc He knows that we arent walking in true blessing and He wants us to have life and blessing, not the false hope of sin. but please know we cannot like make God feel so hurt by our actions as believers that He wants to leave us or no longer hear our prayers, this is false. We are covered by the blood, our salvation is secure. If you are a true Christian do NOT fear that you have hurt or dissapointed the Lord. May His kind heart draw you to obedience, not fear of punishment. those who fear have not been perfected in love, so allow God to continue loving you. His heart that hurts FOR you is a heart of kindness because He loves you so much.

I see myself as sitting on the front lines of what it is you're talking about because my Ministry has to do with pointing out the very specific hairline differences between what actually is truth and what we've been believing.
Like not taking into account the power of the word of our mouths and that what we confess is what we have declared unto Heaven that we believe. And how when we go through suffering that we should not blame God and say that it is from him that we receive our suffering nor should we believe if we are a saint covered by the blood of Jesus Christ that God is doing it to punish us. I don't think there's anything wrong about being distracted by life, which Jesus said God wanted us to enjoy more fully.
