We are saved by faith , but faith without works is DEAD. (James 2) Read 1 John , it says whoever loves the world , HAS NOT THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IN HIM , so yeah faith without works is dead.

Do you understand what James meant by "faith without works is dead"? We are NOT saved by works...I hope that's not what you're saying.

Going to heaven is free, if you think otherwise, you aren't going there. God is offering a gift of redemption, you cannot pay for the blood of Christ with works and to think you can is insane, he saved you, just accept it. Then know you should live to please God, but it's because you are saved, not to gain or keep it. He isn't sharing his glory of salvation with you. Your works are filthy rags, don't try to use them to get into heaven, the blood is free. Whosoever will may come.

That's a big Ole amen, sister. Stay true to the collective cohesive truth of the whole Bible, not denominational guard rails. There are some that get it pretty close. I tell people I'm a first century Christian, meaning I follow what the first century church taught in the Bible itself, cohesively
