A band mate turned me on to these guys about 10 years ago. A great band that many people don't know about but loved and respected by those who do. What a treasure!
Greatest New Orleans rocking jam band, like warm mississippi mud between your toes, with a bottle and a good woman skinny-dippy with you in the full moon light.
Last saw them live about 10 or more years ago, had a great radio station in town at the time, played little known or upcoming artists, can't find that anymore except on NPR or Treme. That's where I found the subdudes again. Steve Amedee, bought his percussion tape 'cause his style was so different. John Magnie hasn't seemed to change with his accordian, sooo fine, Tommy Malone looks aged but still sound fine
If it got any better than than that, I probably couldn't take it. Another favorite of mine, "Mississippi Home", sounds like it was recorded in about the same sized space.

My wife and I have seen them live twice 2015/16. The whole crowd danced and sang along the entire time. These guys are SO UNDERRATED!!!

I saw these guys in Madison ind.. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to.They played until 12;30 am along the river.
