    Hi Matthew,
I haven't had time to update my Linksys routers to the latest firmware, but I intend to test it out soon. Thanks for commenting!

Thanks Binoy, I'll check that out! I have created a second project, olsrd-blinkm, that includes scripts to control a BlinkM LED to show the mesh connectivity status.

You can use a PiGlow board for all things LED on a Raspberry Pi :)

Is HSMM-PI still a supported project and if yes where can I obtain a current image or download.

Nice setup you have; I've got one that I'm playing with for that, and I may add a few more. One thing that would be nice is for this to be interoperable with the newest firmware that was released last weekend, but that will take a little time, I'm sure.

I just set up a pi to try and mesh with my current "network" of one node... no luck. What version of the hsmm / broadbandhamnet are you running on the Linksys? I don't have another pi (yet) to play with.

Scott I am getting ready to do this. Does the script "take over" the machine? IOW can I run anything else on the machine in addition to HSMM-PI at this point or does this turn it into a one trick item? Either is fine I just wondered what your experience was. The other service I was planning on running was a small web server or a Pi-Cam served out to the network. Thanks for a clear video! I subscribed to follow any further info.

      +Ronny Julian Look for cjdns.
hsmm-mesh is a radio ham sub-net that could be used on the www but is not geared for it and I possibly not licensable to do so..

To further clarify, it can be connected to the web, but the activities _must_ be related to Amateur Radio.

KE0IMD not altogether true. If you stick to your frequency bands and powers of a standard Wi-Fi you are ok
