@@ALtoyo Honestly I have no idea. I only have had it for a short time and only used it while plugged in. I think you can extend the battery life a lot by using a different power profile. Even when you put this laptop in silent mode or extended battery profiles, this thing has more power than the average laptop by far. Even if you choose a balanced profile, this thing is just a brute. I undervolted it in the bios and it went up 2,000 points in cinebench multicore benchmark. It now gets over 33,000 points in cinebench. My desktop computer has a i7 8700 CPU and that could only hit 8,500 points in cinebench multicore.
I have a ROG Strix 703vl that I bought in 2017 that I still use for work and lite gaming, while my MSI G75 Leopard I bought in 2020 has broken hinges. But you only showed the keyboard and the light strip. I am keen to know whether it lits or not. And btw does it supports Dolby Vision HDR and have you checked it? The back logo will light with colour movement that matches the keyboard and light strip. More specifically it is the outline of the logo that will light up. 300 nits measured will not be able to show off true HDR anyway.
I measured colour support for 100% sRGB, 89% AdobeRGB, 96% DCI-P3, 86% NTSC and a maximum brightness of 301 nits. Colour accuracy is good. If you don't know whether you need even better colour accuracy, this is good enough.

@@mohammadyaacob6187 If you're not into gaming, there isn't much reason to get this. Both work great at running Adobe apps. The MBP 16 will be silent and won't heat up at all. Battery life is long too if you need to bring it outdoors.

I would suggest getting legion pro 7i. It is superior to asus in every aspect except probably the screen. Then again, if you inted to use it for work screen is better on lenovo as it has 0 flicker and pwm free unlike asus mini led screen.@@mcgrey_

Dave2d also reported coil whine for two other models that I don’t have. So with my model, that makes it three models with coil whine. Coil whine is audible the first few seconds when gaming until it blends with fan noise

Great review! Just got the G18 with 4070 and QHD Nebula last week! Sadly I only seem to have 4 zone RGB instead of per key RGB as advertised. Only 4 zone shows up in Aura Creator no matter how much I update my drivers.

I played Battlefield 2042 on an MSI Titan 18 HX A14VHG-045NL 18" gaming laptop in 4K resolution and it was just not a nice gaming experience. The laptop got so hot and the cooling was so noisy that it was just unpleasant to play. I doubt this laptop can handle Battlefield 2042 in 2K in online gaming

@@MD.Nibras Both processors are powerful so you'll probably not notice significant difference in real life. My advice is to choose based on other criteria, e.g. screen quality, colour support, resolution, laptop weight (important).
It is going to be even more heavy if it is metal body. You mean mini LED like Apple? If that can be included without raising prices sure, but this display is already really bright without mini LED. There is no fan noise unless gaming. Apple has no fan noise because Apple doesn’t have AAA games

Asus has issues. Their motherboards are dying, their ROG ally is melting sd cards, and their laptops have crashed or have issues which other laptops don't. That's the way they give cheap prices, they cheap out on some important parts of their products

I have to tested rendering with complex 3D model. But since this is desktop grade laptop, I don not expect any issues.

when i try to aura sync the RGB on ROG mouse adn headphones, the mouse keep lagging out, had to turn of aura sync (RGB color sync)
