This is Claude again. That was a fun song. It's definitely on my Playlist now. Thanks again for all the love and support that you give my friend! 💜💜💜
💜
Welcome back Claude, come back and enjoy some more great music with us!! 💜
Welcome back Claude you are a lot of fun! You and Bryan are tons of fun together.
Please come back and enjoy more with us! Have an awesome day!
Yvw, np. Glad u like this one. =0)
FUN FACT! The cinematographers who did “Kingdom” the show worked on Daechwita MV!
No way!
@@DestructiveMediaYT yes way! … and the butcher/executioner was the lighting director for the mv. I think he also worked on Kingdom.
So proud of you when I see you ‘educating’ your friend about BTS passionately. What happened to the reactor who said Tae cannot dance? 😂😂
That was painful to watch when I clipped that 😆
@@DestructiveMediaYT 😂
I remember you saying that too. I did not subscribe at first after hearing that but you since change so I subscribed.
I remember laughing so hard 😂
Brian in the beginning "The guy with the green shirt, glasses and white pants can't dance.' Brian now 'You Can't Talk About One Of My Bias's Like That!' And Claude is right (happy to have you back) Attorney Woo is a great series.
I'm very proud of your progression as an ARMY, Brian. You've come a long way. I'm thankful that you have stayed genuine on this journey
❤
The emotion in your voice and on your face made my eyes water. Thank you. We try to make this a safe and kind environment for you too!
💜
It truly fills me with joy seeing the two of you slip into deep conversation and your excitement over BTS show through. I love hearing both of your thoughts on the song and the different cultural and meaningful things you noticed. Thanks, as all ways, for a great reaction💜
Thank you for watching! 💜
Brilliant duo. 💜
1:56 I absolutely bust out laughing haha!! Your journey has been so much fun to watch Bryan and I’m so happy Claude wanted to come back to react with you again! You two are a great duo and I love both your banter and your deeper conversations. Can’t wait for the next one. Hope you guys have a great day, mine certainly got way better from watching this! 💜
We did record 2 reactions when he came over, our next one is Dionysus.
@@DestructiveMediaYT Wow that’s great! I can’t wait!
Thank you very much! It's always fun chilling with Bryan. I'm very glad that people enjoy our thoughts! 💜
@@DestructiveMediaYT cool
made me laugh too! 😂
I think after Daechwita, they went into Not Today, then Fire and Idol. This was my first “live” concert and was really uplifting for me as I was battling pandemic depression.
These past 2 days have been filled with that “toxic” BTS reactor. So glad I watch this now. Thank you Brian. You restored my faith in reactors again. 💜💜
I'm glad you enjoyed our video!
OK, FUN FACT!!! there are a lot of references in this MV but Suga/Min Yoongi is actually a member of the Yeoheung Min Clan (여흥 민씨), a very powerful clan Clan during Joseon dynasty. His grandmother in the Empress Myeongseong last of the Joseon dynesty. so technically if the Joseon era was to still exist right now, Min Suga will be on the throne right now
Min Yoongi - Best cat in the world
BangPD aka Papa PD - Amazing producer before and after signing BTS. First Army and just a funny guy.💜
It’s a joy watching your BTS journey.😊 I respect how open-minded Claude is.
You were close about Yoongi’s shoulder. He had surgery in 2020 for an injury that occurred in 2012.
Taechwita will always be iconic 🤣🤣🤣 I could watch this performance on repeat.
Bryan, I watch all of your reactions. I’m a 46 year old Army from Iowa, so I feel your Midwestern vibes. I also started out much like you, naïve and misunderstanding. But here we are appreciating some of the most talented, humble, hard-working people on the planet. I am ridiculously excited to go see Suga, a.k.a., Agust D, a.k.a. Min Yoongi in Chicago next month. Are you going to? It’s a once in a lifetime deal and I’m sure it will be fantastic.
I, unfortunately, cannot go but I hope you have fun! Thank you for watching my videos 💜
Ohh so happy for you. Lucky Army. 💜
No, they were getting ready to tour when Covid happened. After the tour they were going to join the military and do their own thing for a couple years then do music together again. They never seriously were going to break up.
It is a trilogy. Daechwita, Haegeum and Amigdala. AGUST D is my bias. By the way the 2 guys that bumped into SUGA and started fighting are Jin and JK from BTS. BTS found me when I needed the most. Love them. 💜💜💜
Such a fun reaction. This was also my 2nd foray into anything BTS. It sold me and made me go back to find group MVs and then albums. The music is amazing but their chaos is the icing on the cake. Their personalities are so lovable. Great to see you again Claude 💜 I love hearing you two share ideas and theories.
I'm glad you enjoyed our reaction!
the fact that your friend immediately clocked that the MV looks similar to Kingdom is crazy, considering the lights director (i think? don’t remember correctly) of Kingdom also worked on the Daechwita MV!
Notice he also plays the mad king and does he shot and kill him we don't know. Suga himself says that the mad king represents his angry side and he doesn't know if he's completely got rid of that side of himself. Deahwita being the music we heard that would have been played when the king and his army were entering a town.
Good point, he may have just shot AT him, a warning if you will. Thank you for watching!
Both Joon and Yoongi were underground rappers. Namjoon went by Runch Randa and was so good at 14 that adults were afraid to rap battle him because this kid would hand them their ass and ruin their rep.
Yoongi was also getting well known as a rising star in the underground and was also already producing music for others in high school. He moved away from home and Deagu to Seoul for his music as a teenager, while still in high school, and was broke and struggling when Big Hit signed him. His underground name was Gloss, which is one of the meanings of his name, Yoongi. Yoongi’s name basically means pale/shining/glossy because he was so pale at birth, and continues to be a pale boi. He is now also known as a genius producer, whether for himself or others, and said to have the Midas touch because everything he touches turns to gold. Steve Aoki called him a musical genius and said if he was in the US industry he would be one of the most famous producers in the world already.
They already had enemies in the underground rap world when they were unsigned teenagers, because people were jealous of their talent or sore about being beat by literal children. Other underground rappers also tried out for Big Hit and other labels but didn’t make it into a contract, so they were jealous of that too, even though they said it was selling out. Just salty man-babies who were jealous of talents they didn’t possess.
Hola! Suga just released the MV collaboration with IU, People pt.2 👍👏👏👏👏👏👏 they had colab with “eight” great to watch
They performed Idol after that! I think that’s a song you haven’t yet reacted to. The MV, dance practice, and all performances of that song go hardd
they are defiantly chaos ….literal chaos.
'that guy in green.. -shakes his head- can't dance' looooooooooooooooll
Between you and your friend - you guys can cover Korean music and drama... just need a third member to go over skin care and it'll be a dream team. 😁💜
🤣
And a fourth to cover food! 💜
I've seen several of these reactions to this song and some seem to miss that he's at war with the version of himself that used to think he had to fit some sort of hip hop/rapper mold (The King with the power and money and chains) to have validity. He has evolved to realize that he doesn't need all of that and that choosing his own path - with Bang PD/BTS and not typical drugs and conforming to hip hop standards (just him in his regular clothes, beat up car, chilling with his friends) - he found his way to the top. The part where he talks about achieving all his dreams and goals etc.... putting his feet on the ground is him saying he needs to stay grounded even though he's just going higher and higher. Still stay true to himself, his music, and his team. And in the end scene.... where they all start head banging. Those people in black in the square with him? I think that's ARMY. That ARMY is behind him so he doesn't need all that fake stuff. And ARMY gives him the power to kill off the false King and stay grounded.
And I don't know if you mentioned this... but are you going to Agust D's show? Cuz that is going to be FIRE! And we all know there will be others popping into the shows. It's why I'm going to the first night. Must. Go.
I am predicting that he will love it ! And I bet he gets it right away……
💜
I think he would appreciate the song Blue and Grey. It's a very emotional song that just gets you in your feelings and really makes you think about stuff. Also think he would like fake love and blood sweat and tears as there's lots of symbolism in those music videos.
Thank you again Claude for your honest reaction and thoughts. Could u be a psychologist? Lol love to hear u elaborate on things more and it’s okay to put on several masks to show the different kinds of you. After all, they’re all YOU.
That's what I wanted to be out of high school. I think now I'm just a student of life. Thank you for such kind words 💜💜💜
the way I laughed out loud when you said hobi is not a good dancer😭😭The clownery lmfao glad you got into the fandom your aunt is gold✨✨👏👏
The covid-time performance comes from the ‘Sowoozoo 2021’ muster, June 13-14, 2021, which still can be purchased for online streaming or DVD on Weverse. Sowoozoo (소우주) means ‘microcosm.’ For me, ‘Daechwita’ is the best of the best! 🎉😊
14:03 the island is called Jeju island. I like your friend's interpretation of the song and the term "fictional court case". Yes it's hard not to don that mask and let others see your honest/weird self 💜 can't wait to see more of your friend's reaction and maybe some of the funny compilations (w/some context)
Thank you for letting me know the name of the island, I hope you enjoy our next reaction!
Me gustó. Estoy comenzando a gustar de tí. Éxito como persona en todo.🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷💪👏👏👏👏
@@DestructiveMediaYT Jk loves that island. He wants to go back.
The second night of Sowoozoo they did this with "Chicken Noodle Soup" by J-Hope and Becky G. It is chaos but also so much fun!
Thank you for coming back Claude! So glad you enjoyed this song. To echo many of the comments below, I love your discussions together. So enjoyable. 💜 watching you jam out Bryan was so much fun! It put a big smile on my face. I look forward to the next reaction as always. Thank you for all the time and effort you put in Bryan. Borahae 💜💜
Our next reaction is to Dionysus, I hope you enjoy it!
@@DestructiveMediaYT ohhhhh!!! I'm definitely looking forward to that!!!
Kingdom is SO GOOD. I'm still patiently waiting for a new season 🥲
Seeing you guys discuss about Suga's old self killing his new self reminded me of an old comment I wrote on another Daechwita reaction video. There are some cultural and historical references that give this a deeper meaning.
Actually, the song lyrics give us a clue into that, they mention "Gwanghae flow", and this refers to Gwanghaegun, one of the 2 deposed Joseon Dynasty kings, and the story in the music video seems to tie in with this. How so? In the Korean movies, "Masquerade" & "The Crowned Clown", where the king is Gwanghaegun, the king has a commoner stand in for him during a period of time when he is under threat. So the question is, who is the real king here? The one who is on the throne, or the apparent commoner? When you look at it this way, then it makes sense as to why at the end of the music video, the commoner kills the king. Because the commoner is actually the real king, and not that blond-haired guy who is on the throne.
That final scene, with the executioner & the prisoner/commoner (Suga all tied up and blind-folded)... instead of beheading him, the executioner bows to him, which already tells us that this prisoner is actually the real king, 'cos why else would the executioner bow to him & hand him a gun to kill the (fake) king? He's merely reclaiming his throne.
As if that isn't mind-blowing enough, what's even more mind-blowing is how this all ties in with Suga's "Interlude: Shadow" from the "Map Of The Soul: 7" album, as well as his 1st Agust D mixtape.
The gunshot at the end of the song, it just might tie in with the beginning of another BTS song called "Ugh!". And "Ugh!" is a song about not wasting your anger, but putting it to good use. This could be a continuation from "Daechwita", because as Suga gets rid of his anger within, going forward, he now wants to take that emotion and put it to good use.
One more thing here, the gun that Suga uses in that final scene is called a “Colt 1860 ARMY”... I guess ARMY helped him to assassinate the fake king and reclaim the throne as his original self.
Your friend has such a calm demeanor and was so willing to venture into something new. Very nice.
I love the way you guys can converse about everything... Yes ,Bryan this songs about the struggle between Suga of BTS and Yoongi the peasant... All these things he wanted and strived for he got, but at the end he just wants to be himself💜💜💜
Oooh ot7 Daeschwita, makes my day every time. Good to see Claude back
Suga has had a difficult emotional journey, throughout the videos of his trilogy he's killing demons.
Yes, it's a famous historical site. Suga writes, raps, produces, develops story boards, and everything else.
The onstage is humorous for them, and me too. The guys are extremely humble, if two have an argument all seven resolve it, they are tightly bonded and love each other. Go to In the Soop or Bon Voyage and you'll know what I mean. Nobody lords themself over another, they'd break up.
It's so enjoyable to watch this kind of reactions with non BTS fans. Good music is good music everywhere and music lovers will appreciate it. 💜
Another fun reaction with Claude. Thank you both. 💜
It's so cute watching new ARMY grow and then share their love of BTS with others. Keep loving music!
Check out the other BTS songs I've shown Claude so far, then suggest what you want me to show him next!

i caught up, ty.
The next song is Idol.
pls how to stay serious looking at him rapping and singing with that poker face and the goatee?' Taechwita will always be legendary ahahakjhkhkhl
This is really great. I always like your reactions and it's always a good feeling when you see people invite others to meet BTS. Your friend is just as sweet as you.
Claude, I love Kingdom too! You got to get Brian to watch it as well and consider doing a reaction to the series! You seem to enjoy K-Dramas. There are so many really well made dramas to watch!
The island you mention is Jeju island which is the "Hawaii" island of South Korea. It's only an hour flight south from Seoul and definitely worth going to if you ever visit South Korea. It's even much closer to Busan which is where the "free" last BTS concert was held in 2022. You, Brian and your families, should plan a future trip together to visit South Korea.
Great idea for more reactions...
You guys are so right on if you focus on the small fights, eventually, you will have too many fights and assume intentions all the time. My last relationship, although I was right, most of it I just jumped into a fight and didn't want to bring in humor because it felt minimizing. The high tension made the relationship crumble.
You are so on point there, we feel safe here. Talking about me, I comment so much here because I feel safe. I rarely comment on other 3-4-5 channels I watch 😂❤
💜
My favorite bars say something like “I was born a king - I ain’t no weak pill-popper like you” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know what I said isn’t the EXACT quote, but I know it’s something like that.
Chill guys. We are family. ARMY💜💜💜
I Love your reaction guys so much 😊💜💜
SUGA 🔥🔥💜💜💜
You are so fortunate to each have such a good male friend in your life with whom you can share humor and music and life wisdom. Thanks for sharing this glimpse of your real selves with the rest of us--it's rare to get such a glimpse into the thoughts of a reactor, and I really like the combo of BTS and life introspection. 😆
I'm glad you enjoyed our reaction!
I really like your friend and his reactions and perspective. Please show him more of BTS live performance.
Siempre disfruto Daechwita💜🇦🇷
The blonde “Mad king” represents Yoongi’s younger self, because he had blonde hair in the early years of BTS and he was angry and unhappy. Full of pain. The king was both mad with power, greedy and paranoid. He was alone, surrounded by people who hated and feared him. He trusted no one. His scar was fresh and raw, and represents his trauma.
Street Yoongi had a more healed scar and was not alone, he had his 6 brothers (BTS) behind him and a woman representing ARMY (holding the keys in the video.) He is confident and has connections. He has achieved his dreams and wants to shed his greedy, paranoid and unhappy self. The butcher he makes eye contact with on the street is also the executioner, in on his coup. The sycophants in the King’s court back his rebellion (head banging with Yoongi.) He shoots his past self with a classic Colt ARMY model revolver. The symbolism there is obvious.
The song is about his mental health journey dealing with his trauma and healing, as much or more than a statement to haters, and is part of a trilogy with two new songs from D-Day (Haegeum and Amygdala.)
You many already have learned all this, but in case anyone else watching doesn’t know I’m leaving this info.
I appreciate you putting all of this information here!
I just got back from my 3rd visit as my daughter works there and you really should go if you get the chance. It is a truly wonderful country
I really love watching you react with Claude, you look so happy and how he will react. 💜💜
Also, I really like Claude's interpretation of the song, it was amazing the last time as well.
Attorney Woo is a good drama if you wanna watch it by yourself, I recommend it.
The next song is Idol, I think this is Day 2 from Sowoozoo concert. 💜💜💜
Waiting for the next reaction to Claude.
Thanks, Bryan. Great to see the both of you bonding over Daechwita. Your discussions are educational and meaningful, as usual. (off to study emotional intelligence.)
low key jealous that you can share BTS with a friend!! hope to see more reactions from both of you 💜
There is definitely more to come!
i really like this song thank you for reacting again with your friend
Thank you for reminding me of that comment about Tae, for that reaction I subscribed since you showed that you were paying attention to all the details.
You didn't know them, so it could be that you were focusing on the one who was singing or rapping at the moment, but you were really observing more than that.
Answering your question, if I remember correctly the next song was Idol.
Thank you for watching my videos!
Bryan you really are doing a great job and I'm so so proud of you Claude for coming along and enjoying BTS contexts. I hope one day you'll fully become an ARMY💜💜💜
I think he will be ARMY soon!
@@DestructiveMediaYT yeessss that's the spirit 💪💜
Bryan you're a real one, trying so hard not to bob your head to the music too much 😆 Claude is a great friend, I like your friendship!
I am an “unlikely” BTS Army. 62, white physically disabled female, mom with moderate education (I think they call it “some college”) and I completely stumbled upon BTS when I saw a clip of Euphoria with JK soaring through the sky on a hook hitting crazy high notes. I had never heard of them and it’s been so fun doing deep dives and discovering these immensely talented young men. Like a teenager I’ve got photos on my wall and they are on heavy rotation alongside Springsteen, Jackson Brown, Southside Johnny and Bonnie Raitt. (Spelling???) Their music and shenanigans have gone a long way into maintaining my mental health and reminding me not to give up. Yes, I’ve lost my life as I knew it and it’s never coming back but there is so much good and positive stuff out there that it gives me hope. And your channel has been a big contributing factor in my process… so rock on, love yourself, speak yourself and Bangtan forever… yeah my 34 yr old daughter thinks I’m nuts…
And it’s opened up so much new music to me I’d never know about otherwise… ❤😊
Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself! 💜
If you haven’t you should take a look at Bookish Theories explanation of this song. Her explanation seems to go along with what Suga has said about the song. But in a nutshell, Suga “kills” the evil King (because he didn’t like what he had become. But Bookish will explain the cultural references. And related somewhat is his song Interlude-Shadow.
love watching y'all together
You two rock. Thank you!
💞💜💞
Thank you for watching!
Your videos always lift my mood 💜
I'm so glad!
If you like this, then you will like his first solo album August D. He also had aa video he put out a few years ago called Shadow. My dream collab would be him with Eminem. He has good flow.
Kingdom is an amazing show 💯💜
DAECHWITA Live performance the bestest. TaeTae with the straight face rapping plus his giant moustache got me 😂😂😂. Jin's... rapping definitely cool. I miss Jinnn so much and soon Hobaa. 😢💜💜💜.
Thank you Bryan and Claude you both amazinggg. ❤
Every reactor to BTS I have watched (who are genuine reactors) have said the same things over and over. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard them say that ARMY is the best fandom they have encountered with the most supportive, thoughtful, intelligent and loving people, and that as much as BTS has changed their lives, so has ARMY. I am proud of us. BTS shows us the way and we follow their lead.
Borahae!
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
💜
Im loving these videos! I love that we feel super proud educating others bout BTS, like, is our mission in life haha. Thank your for being so passionate bout the guys and their art 💜
And about the V comment you made thats why you should never judge BTS before actually knowing what they do. For me started watching JK dance, then I was like 'who the hell is this?' Then my rabbit hole began. Saw they are all amazing dancers, all amazing at singing/raping, they compose, they produce, they do it all! I was really really surprised and Im into rock music, but they won me over so easily and now I cannot stop. And thats what I always start when talking with people that are not a fan, I say 'please dont pretend you know what theyre about, cause you dont. Listen to them with an open mind'
OMG ❤ My bias Suga❤ great reaction... kissed from Brazil 🇧🇷❤
I love watching you two react together! Your dynamic and friendship is great and just brings a lot of joy to the video. And I always love watching people genuinely come to love BTS members. 💜💜💜
I love it when people are open to music that isn't in English. You miss out on so many good artists if you're not open to different languages and cultures. BTS was the gateway to other Korean, and now more than half of my Playlist is K-pop. Suga is my bias wrecker for sure
💯 agree!
I enjoying your reactions they are so more real then some reactors. Hope you are enjoying your week.
😁💜 I hope you are enjoying your week as well!
I listen to this song on my way to work too😂💜
Kingdom is SO good!!!
Hahahaha... yeah I remember that V comment. Pretty sure that I gave you a comment lol. And yes, you should watch KINGDOM it's phenomenal. I think of it less as a zombie programme and more like a pandemic programme. It is clever and thought provoking.
ahhh! I don't remember what song followed :< if it was a tour I'd tell you in a heartbeat but it wasn't, it was a Muster! in 2021, in June's gonna turn 2!
When you said V couldn’t dance you were basing it off a performance where he was joking around and just having fun with not even watching him dance seriously so that’s why people were pi**ed off.
I want to suggest that you react to jhope and suga interviews with Disney plus channel. I think you'll like them , they talk about themselves and their work and songs . I even learnt new things about them.
Maybe you know this. I am not going to read all of your comments to find out. The lyric referring to the rice chest is significant. One of the Joseon rulers killed a son by burying (sufficating) him in a rice chest. Famous Joseon era history. You can look it up.
I hope you make him listen to Interlude Shadow 💜
I think they do 'Idol' next
I don't remember the name of the site, but I belief it is an historical site that is available as a living history thing as well as for use in videos like this,
There is an explanation video for this. 💜💜💜💜

Bryan telling it like it is in the end, yesss!! louderrrr!! don't get me wrong, I give a chance to anyone who reacts or anyone who says anything abt the boys but............................ they're so obvious and it doesn't take long to figure out why they're being fake or condescending.. it's so frustrating. If only they actually gave the boys a chance instead of just using them for clout, clicks, engagement, attention, views, the list goes on and on ahhhh poor Bangtan. I rly hate what some humans do.
Thank you for watching our reaction!
@@DestructiveMediaYT no no, thank YOU Bryan! for always being so genuine and real, thank you!!!
You may be interested in reacting to the explanation video by DKDKTV. Many of the BTS songs have meanings that delve deeper than expected.
jeez. get on with it
Thank you for watching and commenting, it helps the video reach more people!
I'm not sure how anyone can watch this and understand how brilliant the songwriting is without watching the explanation video....you just miss out on so much?! Why not include it? You can't really fully 'educate' yourself or anyone else on the song without the explanation... so I'm confused.
Luckily I've seen the explanation video myself and encouraged him to watch one too! Thank you for watching! 💜
This is Claude. A lot of our conversation gets cut from the video. Bryan is doing a lot of educating, but it doesn't all make it in the final cut. Thanks for watching!
Your comment is a bit rude. Do you really think someone has to know everything about the song to enjoy it and show it to his/her friend?
