When you constantly try to perfect things you end up not making anything, something I've learned is to just CREATE, that is the only way you will ever get better, if you constantly stress every bit and detail you will never put anything out and you'll forever be stuck in the same loop. Just create something!

Tristan Stulce that’s not true. First off talking from his perspective his short term that speed wins. In other words he knows the top that own the nich are lays out and perfect already. Switching perspective. Yes speed wins against accuracy if both start at the same time. But with over time accuracy is going to take 1st place. He has concert but not the words to explain. Hire me ;)

The best way of scheduling your time is to prioritize your tasks. You can’t cover everything. Choose what is more important for you and what you can skip it. Don’t pay attention only for a job. All people need to have 2-3 hobbies in order to reload their mind. Don’t forget about your family. Find balance between job, hobbies, family and rest.

  • @FixItOnTheWay
    @FixItOnTheWay 5 років тому +1

I've only watched the first 13 minutes and it's solid gold. It also represents value that is very difficult to convey in an Instagram or Tick Tock post, or any other social media platform except UA-cam. This is why UA-cam rules. It allows Gary to really cook. UA-cam is the only platform that reveals Gary's true nature and the true value of his content. The first 13 minutes reveal why most people think incorrectly and will never be good at entrepreneurship (myself included). Entrepreneurship isn't a teachable skill. You either have it or you don't. Well, I guess you could be a bad entrepreneur...it's probably better than none at all. However, the idea of learning through doing and using action as the catalyst for all decisions...is valuable. Even if you're an over-cautious over-thinker, the more you move in the direction of "active learning" "active strategy" "active anything." The better off you will be. I wonder if there could be a demand for a course or a Keynote where Gary specifically drills down on this particular issue. It's a core issue that controls all others. It's almost as if this one thing has to be addressed before you can address anything else. I think Gary could spend all his time here, on this aspect of human nature and bringing awareness to it, and make a lot of money doing it. It's the unlock and you never really master it, you just dance with it, so you will always need to drink from this well. That means it could be monetized indefinitely.

Years ago I asked my mom, how she was able to work as much as she did. (She used to work around the clock.) She told me she didn’t think about it, she just did which is the same idea you just referenced. I adopted this philosophy, deleted the word tired from my vocabulary and now, when necessary, I can work circles around most people!

I do agree to a point, speed decisions are necessary when making accuracy… To do this you need experts in the role… But I am seeing was so many companies the lack of accuracy and the quick decision-making being there downfall… Not necessarily Short term, but in the long term for postage and brand value it can be disastrous unless you have this the right people making the quick decisions

Video packed with absurdly more actionable items than usual! Congrats 4Ds team or video editor on the result here. Gary, please also encourage your team to edit out some of your more "I " moments that people have heard so often such as, "the reason why I win...". You are great, but your other "motivational" videos have so much of your personality already. You can make your 4D videos even more compact.

28:44 As an animator/ illustrator/ designer totally loved that bit (every freakin' single word of it. Could not have been said better). I was "suspecting" that with video hitting so hard in promotion and everything, animation should be liquid gold... Love to hear GaryVee confirming it.. and even more!. :) Lovely. Animation is a super hard craft to master, but is absolutely important that it survives, and as a marketing superpower it certainly will !!! Motivation to go back to my animation loved apps ! :) :) :)
I moved to 3D and game art just because it did seem technology had killed 2D animation, just as I also thought it had killed traditionally drawn comic. Not the case in both matters, happily!. Today motion graphics is almost a must, those stylized illustration styles, animated have been thriving for a while, now in marketing and product explanation / presentation... And white board shorts for all sort of business matters... heck, those LOOK like animation, but are just a super clever usage of apps that take static illustrations and recreate them as if they were painted by a areal hand with a marker. And it looks GREAT while provided tons of minutes of content. It gets you hooked, no matter which boring matter is it talking about it, and the illustration does not even need to be detailed, just like what u'd do in a whiteboard, but of course, with pro skills in illustration.
Freaking interesting times, I tell ya.

Fired a secretary that was not performing and getting rid of a jet ski. These moves alone save me over $100k a year. Let me tell you that right now it hurts. Hopefully it pays off because at this moment it does not feel that way.

That container of milk is distracting. I want to walk into that office, grab it and put it in a refrigerator. Awesome video.

11:15 ... holy fuck..... it makes sense now. You say to not to worry because t wastes time but it makes even more sense now because you are saying you can make more decisions in the process that might benefit you . I feel mind blown. It's simple but deep . Lol

This was great to watch. I definitely will work on speed vs. Pondering over what is the right action. Gary is right, thinking too much takes up mind space and is unproductive.

    My stamps:
0:42 - How do i spend my time... to not judge yourself. the actions create the strategy, not the other way around
5:30 - Doing can be more efficient than thinking about it
8:32 - Not beating self up over mistakes, because everybody is already doing it for you ;D
    9:42 - Speed over everything
    12:00 - > entrpnr side
note to self: update and finish after second time viewing

If you're in Houston, you can hire some bunnies (us) to come out to your events. People go freaking crazy. We were at the park today, just me and one big white bunny. It didn't matter that we were there for some quiet time alone. People could see George from every direction and came running over to look at him. Invariably, the phones come out and people do selfies.
Heck, even Grant Cardone's kids did selfies with my bunny when they were here in Houston. An hour before, people were paying his girls $20 just to get a selfie with them. We didn't have special access; all we did was wait in the hallway and out of the couple dozen people waiting to get pictures with Grant Cardone, his family came straight to us. It WORKS.

Hey Gary, 15:55 your realization that you had been hiring to help them instead of bringing them on as a valuable asset. This would really define your statements on empathy and self awareness.

tiktok is 1898? Someone suggested said platform to me cause its relevant for my industry, I was there some time ago, wasn't for me at the time, however I have grown significantly, and on the cusp of ruin and folding, I find probably the only person I've truly looked up to in full, came out of sheer communication. I never gave tiktok the time of day since. However, because this is utmost the most powerful information on the internet, everything I don't fully agree with, because I don't understand, or don't want to accept, and its hard to trust anyone I never gave anyone full control. Thats changed, I'm opening up and letting everything sink in, most of the foundation is already there, however sometimes it hits that sweet spot, of self reflection, where I wasted a-lot of time, and energy, rather then resisting, because I relate very heavily to this network and has earned my trust, very fast... I' m not resisting anything and letting it all sink in. The only option that makes sense, seeing as I'm starting from scraps again, a-lot of them actually. This is what my gut is forcing me to do, to stay in. Basically you've spoken to my soul, and I'm going to follow this sum of information blindly, without a doubt, to conserve that extra energy of second guessing. * unpausing, lets continue*
