Remember you did Like A Stone - Audioslave. He's the same guy, Chris Cornell. He's considered to be one of best if not the best rock vocalist of all time. He has an incredible range and control over it. You should really listen to Black Hole Sun from Soundgarden (he was associated with 3 bands and a solo artist as well). Gasoline, Cochise from Audioslave.
Chris Cornell (the second vocalist is Eddie Vedder from Peeal Jam. Temple of the Dog is the collaboration) Soundgarden - Fell on Black Days ua-cam.com/video/ySzrJ4GRF7s/v-deo.html Audioslave (same band that did Like a Stone. featuring musicians from Rage Againt the Machine) - I Am the Highway ua-cam.com/video/hWlkmkZW2hk/v-deo.html Solo song just before he died. @C Portugal I LOVE Mad Season. River of Deceit, Long Gone Day, Wake Up, November Hotel. Those are all amazing songs. And UA-cam/MadSeasonVevo just released basically their entire Live at the Moore show. UA-cam used to have just a few songs from the show like Long Gone Day and Lifeless Dead, but now they have almost all of them
That voice in the intro is the voice of an angel. RIP Chris hopefully he’s rocking out with all the other legends & he finally found peace. I love your reaction to this song. The 90’s rocked
After you listen to Say Hello To Heaven by these guys, you should check out a band called Mad Season. They only put out one album, and it was Mike McCready from Pearl Jam, Layne Staley from AIC, Barrett Martin from Screaming Trees, and John Baker Saunders. For songs, River Of Deceit or I Don't Know Anything.
I would try to blame my omission of Lanegan on Wikipedia, or my missing cd, but I just can't read. I like I Don't Know Anything better than Wake Up. And, honestly, I haven't listened to any of the album in years, and River, and I Don't Know were the the only ones that I could/can remember.
Downward Is Heavenward That album is a masterpiece, hands down the best side project ever made (imo). I love every single track but Wake Up is just so hauntingly beautiful.
Soundgarden - The Day I Tried to Live... It has everything King enjoys in rock music: slow build to power moments, hard riffs, good lyrics, great vocals, excellent transitions.
The song began with Chris Cornell of "Soundgarden", "Audio Slave" and "Temple of the Dog" and then Eddie Vedder of "Pearl Jam" joined in. Then they began switching back and forth. Chris Cornell had the higher vocal range. Hands down he was and is my favorite vocalist. Chris Cornell RIP.

@@johncampbell756 Exactly. Cant be a super group if you arent famous/popular yet. They were barely discovered at this time. Noone really knows of Mother Love Bone. Andy Woods was supposed to be in Eddie Vedders place
There were a couple of great "Super Groups", that came out of the Super Groups from Seattle in the 90's. This being a great one off tribute to the late great Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone. But another band had a one off album after with the late great Layne Staley fronting them. Mad Season, and you should definitely review "River of Deceit", every bit as good as what you just watched.

Chris Cornell. The Legend! One of the best voices in rock but we sadly lost him in '17.😔
Remember you did Like A Stone - Audioslave.
Temple of the Dog is the collaboration)
Soundgarden - Fell on Black Days ua-cam.com/video/ySzrJ4GRF7s/v-deo.html
Audioslave (same band that did Like a Stone. featuring musicians from Rage Againt the Machine) - I Am the Highway ua-cam.com/video/hWlkmkZW2hk/v-deo.html
Solo song just before he died. Not country but kinda close, maybe “Americana”. The Promise ua-cam.com/video/tEpwvvyrAJU/v-deo.html
My song from Audio Slave is 'Be Yourself'
Dude, as much as I love Chris, better than Axl, Freddie, Kurt, Robert Plant ?
Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell ...best two rock vocalists of my youth ... That Temple of the dog album is lit !
Jason Wilkie -- I agree, but you forgot the other guy--Layne Staley! Layne Staley, Chris Cornell are my two favorites (they're tied for 1st), and Eddie Vedder is a close 2nd.
@C Portugal I LOVE Mad Season. River of Deceit, Long Gone Day, Wake Up, November Hotel. Those are all amazing songs. And UA-cam/MadSeasonVevo just released basically their entire Live at the Moore show. UA-cam used to have just a few songs from the show like Long Gone Day and Lifeless Dead, but now they have almost all of them
The one with the goatee is Chris Cornell front man of soundgarden. The other vocalists clean shaven is Eddie Vedder front man of pearl jam
That voice in the intro is the voice of an angel. RIP Chris hopefully he’s rocking out with all the other legends & he finally found peace. I love your reaction to this song. The 90’s rocked
This is the cutest, most pure reaction ever… been listening to this since the 90’s🖤
Never thought I'd like watching people listening to songs, but I love your posts & reactions!
I second this motion!!!
And Mark Lanegan, don’t forget Lanegan ;) ... and Wake Up, don’t forget that one, lol.
Downward Is Heavenward THANK YOU! I had forgotten about that collaboration of 90s legends 💪🏼
Soundgarden - The Day I Tried to Live... It has everything King enjoys in rock music: slow build to power moments, hard riffs, good lyrics, great vocals, excellent transitions.
One of the greatest duettes of all time.
R.I.P Chris Cornell. No one sings like you anymore...
Chris Cornell version of nothing compares to you is INSANE! RIP to a monster vocalist!😢
Bee Snort I listen to it everyday. Better than Prince and Sinead combined I think.
PLEASE !!!!!
I was gonna suggest that too.
Soundgarden and Pearl Jam had a baby, and it is HUNGRY!
Tell us about the Alice In Chains concert!! Did you go?
Larry Whitaker I agree I’d like to hear about it too!
I tried to ask the day after.
I also would like to know how his guitar skills have come around!?
Two Legends!!! No other way around it! RIP Chris Cornell! Eddie Vedder is sick!!!! Both together is legendary!!! Good job man! I got a good one for you..
BLACK. By
PEARL JAM LIVE MTV UNPLUGGED VERSION!!
EPIC!!! 🔥🔥🔥
None other than one of the greatest vocalists of all time, Chris Cornell. RIP Chris, we miss you🤘
Just step in to 90s alternative/grunge. So good man.
Temple of the dog is a super group made up of members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, the singers are Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell from soundgarden
Technically it wasn't a supergroup as Pearl Jam was formed while it was recorded. Stone and Jeff's former band Mother Love Bone wasn't well known until after this and the movie Singles and its soundtrack were released.
@@johncampbell756 Exactly. Cant be a super group if you arent famous/popular yet. They were barely discovered at this time. Noone really knows of Mother Love Bone. Andy Woods was supposed to be in Eddie Vedders place
@@danielkinn782 Also Vedder was just in Hunger Strike, so not really a member of TOTD
@@RimshotKiller very true. Kinda a one off.
Chris Cornell, beautiful voice, beautiful. R.I.P LEGEND
Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam. 2 of the best vocalists. That is why it is so good!
Chris Cornell was one of the greatest vocalists of all time, brother. His work with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, Audioslave, and as a solo artist are all fucken amazing. Travel down that Cornell road, my friend...it's a road well worth your time and discovery.
Chris Cornell- Soundgarden
Eddie Vedder- Pearl jam
and they both were lead singers of "Mad Season" at one point
@@brianpaonessa3132 yep
No thats layne staley
@@jerrystouten5136 exactly
also chris was in audioslave!
Yep, you found a diamond. RIP Chris Cornell.
I’m subbing after this reaction. I love your connection to music. It’s a beautiful thing!!
You are mine and my husband's favorite reaction channel, because you always "bring it back", you don't talk over everything, you give an insightful short monologue as to why you like what heard, then your right back to it. You're the best to watch hands down.👍👍
I asked about this a while back. Glad you liked it. When you get a chance do "Lightening Crashes" by Live
that whole Temple of the Dog album is fantastic! (Tribute to Andrew Wood from Mother Love Bone) Saw Pearl Jam and Soundgarden perform this at Lollapalooza in Fairfax Virginia 1992. Good memories.
The late legend Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and the man Eddie Vedder from pearl jam. Two of the best ever. I always wished they would have collaborated again. MAN THEY MADE MAGIC!
Man watching you, reminds me of how much i just love people, and love music. You can tell you are a special soul. Peace brotha.
You seem like a really cool guy man if this is true don't lose it the world needs more people like you my friend god bless
Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam and the late Chris Cornell from Soundgarden.
RIP CHRIS CORNELL.....
THIS IS MY TOP SONG THAT STARTED GRUNGE......
EDDIE VEDDER IS NOW KEEPING IT ALIVE...
🤘😈🤘
I really worry for Eddie. Hard thing, being the only one left. Especially considering his big heart and tender soul. All of grunge is now dead singer radio. My heart bleeds.
Green river...
If you wanna be really blown away, listen to Say Hello To Heaven by the same band. Its unreal!
R.I.P Chris Cornell man! that album is awesom with Eddie Vedder!!
Ok I’ve watched several of your videos now, and I’ve just got to say that your face when you listen to music is so compelling and brings me joy to see such intensity and passion.
The OBVIOUS next step is to listen to Soundgarden. Just check out Outshined!!!
Yes ! Wouldn’t ya love to just play this guy all the great songs from this album and Soundgarden too . So cool to see someone just hear it for the first time . Amazing music 🤩
Or slaves and bulldozers
Preston, you gotta check out Mad Season, River of deceit, it Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Layne stayle from Alice in chains, the whole album is great, depressing but great!!! Just like temple of the dog the mix of these two are jaw dropping!!! MAD SEASON!!!
It is Also, Eddie Vetter.. Who went on to perform in a little band called, PEARL JAM!
Pearl Jam HELL YA! My fave band. Love Eddie's voices.
Goosebumps, Imagine writing, playin, and singing this song and watching this reaction from a first time listener. Goosebumps are contagious as hell. Great video
Only thing wrong with the song is fact that it’s not long enough. What an absolute beautiful collaboration. Great reaction 🙋🏻♀️🙌🏼👍🏼👏🏼💜🇨🇦
chris Cornell, thats a rabbit hole you should definitely take a trip down.... RIP
That second vocalist is none other than the legend Chris Cornell RIP. One of the best rock singers in the world, with a legendary distorted voice. Was the singer of several groups including Audioslave and Soundgarden. You’re welcome!
Chris Cornell was FUCKING AWESOME
you need to do "say hello to heaven" from temple of the dog asap, probably chris cornell best vocal performane
Your reaction made my day. It brought back the memory of when I first heard this amazing collaboration between Chris and Eddie and the rest of the band. SUCH joy.... I miss Chris so very much.
Your videos are the best man. You feel what i feel when listening to these songs. Im glad i got to see the legendary chris cornell before he passed. Good dude. Amazing vocalist
Awesome job Man!! Your the best and we love your reaction and music choices Thanks
Cornell & Vedder
Two giants
One is still here with us
Temple of the dog is pretty much Pearl Jam with Chris Cornell. Awesome band and awesome album.
It’s Chris. Yes, he has that effect on everybody. Great reaction video! Thank you.
Check out his other solo albums.
I have been watching different reactor's react to this song and none of them have given this great of a reaction. Your reaction is by far my favorite.
If you love Chris's voice, react to Soundgardens "black hole sun". 😙
I don't mind stealing bread
From the mouths of decadence
But I can't feed on the powerless
When my cup's already overfilled...
Chris Cornell was the best rock singer ever. I don't give a shit what anyone says. Outshined from his band Soundgarden is a display in vocal badassery. R I P
muxz 4 of the greatest singers all from the same era!!! Chris Cornell was my personal favorite but god damn Eddie Van Lance Stanley and Kurt Cobain are epic Legends...! 4 Legends of all time man
Jesus Christ Pose is also a great example of Cornell's sonic badassery.
That song and gasoline by audioslave.
Haha ! Gives me chill bumps too . And this has been my desert island album since high school. If I was stuck on an island with only ONE album, it would be this one . So cool to see people hear it for the first time . Love it 🤩
That moment of realization that TWO vocalists are performing...LOVE IT!!
