Hey everyone! I hope you liked the video. If you did, I'd love to think I earned your subscription. It really helps me to get more of these great games to show off! Outstanding game review, hats off and cheers to you Wayne! 🍻 Worthington Games has some great game offerings for games that scratch the itch for light war games that are fun to play and games you can play with non war gamers. I really think Worthington Games doesn't get the credit they deserve in the war game hobby. Grant and Mike Wiley have created a really special small game company that flies under the radar for the most part, it seems to me. I'm a huge fan of Worthington, and they seem to be getting better and better all the time. Can't say enough good about Worthington Games. It's great to see them getting some great props!
Thanks for your review and gameplay. Couple of years ago sold my copies of Philadelphia 1777 and New York, despite loving the block games, because the rules were somehow difficult to comprehend. I hope Rommel will bring the joy back and I hope they will make more games in the series
Excellent overview, and review finally played a complete 10 turn game solitaire, the Allies won (by holding Tobruk), had a great time playing. Would you review, and do a playthrough of "The Mog" by White Dog Games, would love to see a playthrough of the "Lig Ligato" scenario, it's a simple scenario, and you might be able to do the whole playthrough within your video time constraints, if you have any. Thank you for taking time to read my comment.
I appreciate the kind words Frank, and I'm glad you like the game. I know I sure did, there's a lot to enjoy about it. As for The Mog, that's a great suggestion. It's one I've looked at before. No promises, but let me see what I can do.
@@WayneHansen That would be great Wayne, keeping my fingers crossed. Wayne have you ever thought about making a series of solitaire games targeted to new players showing playthroughs of introduction scenarios, or scenarios suggested to try for new players, I know I would love to see a few played, even though I have been gaming since the mid 1970's, as I get older I look for easier games to play, I am past the days of "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" or "Squad Leader" LOL 😆
Has any publisher ever published a game without mistakes? Fortunately, Worthington is usually on the side of less mistakes. There are certain publishers who could learn from them.
This is a new one for me - block games. I'm intrigued! Rommel's legend has been taking a lot of hits lately. He seems to now be considered the most over-rated general since MacArthur! That's a long fall. When I was a kid he was acclaimed as the best of WW2. A sober look at history doesn't really do much to acclaim him as anything but an average German general who got a whole bunch of propaganda hype by *both* sides. I'm looking forward to see how this game plays. I knew block games existed, I just never saw a solo version.

I couldn't agree more Robert. They release some fun historical games that are very high quality. I always look forward to their next release.

I believe it's a ruleset with a lot of potential for future games as well.

Has Worthington ever made a game without mistakes? Not to my knowledge

I know block games and solitaire don't usually go together, but this one manages to pull it off.
