Until I realized that the battery was faulty; it broke the Fujifilm camera charger, 2 Godox v1 flash chargers, one of my power supplies and one Filips multi-socket unit in the store. I disassembled the battery, disconnected the board from the batteries, measured the voltage with a tester, it was normal, connected the board again and everything worked.)
@@ArtnHarmony Unscrew the 4 screws on the mouthpiece and then remove the sticker on the bottom of the battery, it has a transverse screw, so just remove it and remove the top cover (with a little force). Once you remove it, unplug the power cord and plug it back in.
maybe you can contact their after-sales team, they posted an announcement on social media about repairing X100 batteries for customers free of charge, it's a good reaction I think
I’ve had the same issue, used only once and when the battery drained, it would not charge. I tried different chargers and different cables (40w, 60w and 100w chargers and cables) In the end I tried a 100w cable with a MacBook charging brick 96w. I left it on charge for 3 hours, it slowly went from no lights (absolutely dead) to 1 flashing light, 2 hours later 2 bars and so on. I think in the end it fully charged at around 8 hrs (ish)
I tried your method the battery became so hot almost burned my desk I disable the cable for safety really upset about the this issue i barely used the light
@@zhiyunsupportglobal706 it seems as though Zhiyun are very much aware of these issues (they should actually do a factory recall!) On the Amazon pages for the Molus X100 it says "the upgraded version of the battery"

Yes, I had the same problem, but UPS destroyed the package I sent with the battery for repair, so I got reimbursed. I don't know if I should buy another or figure out a different battery strategy
Hi! We updated the battery chip and the abnormal charging problem has been solved. It is recommended that you use a USB charger with Type C ports on both ends and supporting PD fast charging protocol of about 30W to charge it if you buy a new one. 🌹

Same problem here, I'm in Serbia, and they do not have repair shop near my country. The nearest one is in Germany, 1000 km away. So I'm stuck with this broken sh*t. Do you guys have any advice on how to fix this?
Yes, I did email them. But they wont cover the cost of the shipment cose I'm in Serbia. My country is in Europe, but it is not in Europe Union and they wont cover the cost of shipping and border fees. So... I'm stuck with bad battery :( @@ItsJustMeShane

There has been a recall. Zhiyun is fixing or exchanging for new batteries for free. You just need to send it to the nearest service center.

I ran into same problem. The solution is use 18w charger. It does not support fast charging so slow charger will b a good option .

They did not replace my charger that blew but did swap the battery in the mail.

Same problem. After less than a year and very few charges the battery died and there's no way to recharge. Completely empty.

There was not a fix. They swapped it out through the mail.
