I like the belts you have, actually most the belts you have I have. I think the major differences between the lv and the hermes is because the H belt is generally used for more formal wear, so it wont bend as much as an lv, whereas the Lv is generally more casual wear. My recommendation for anyone would be to get a H belt just because of its general versatility. :)
I like the MCM and Hermes belts due to the tan contrast lining. I'd like to see them hand saddle stitched vs machine stitched. Though I fear the expense would put it out of reach of many.

This is a well made video and I'm glad you made it. Thank you for your observations. I don't have the LV, MCM, or FF belts, but have 3 Hermes belts and love them. My perception has been that LV quality in general has gone down since the LVMH/Bernard Arnault explosion in products. Your comments just confirm that supposition in my mind. I think that Hermes products, in general, are of a different calibre than LV products.

Had a red mcm belt. Three things to know. Their signature visetos is not genuine leather. The reverable can either come in a genuine smooth leather or another type of canvas. If you do decide to get the one with both canvases it will wear faster just as atv said. Secondly the stitching is made one of two ways that being sown in by machine rather than by hand where the stitching will NOT come out. And it more than likely will if it’s not cut properly. Thirdly all mcm belts are cut to size. Would not recommend a belt by mcm with both canvases. If you want a better quality belt go with a belt with a price tag of at least $500 (roughly). Such as Gucci, Louis, Fendii,Dior etc.

SEB guy Hermes literally has its own cattle it tends to in Europe in a non-barbed wire area that it uses only for leather. If there is any blemish at ALL in the leather, they toss the entire thing. I'd say Hermes has the best quality.
I've had my Loui Vuitton belt for a year and it's warped only a little but just to the form of my waist and there is only a little stretching on the second hole. I think over all it's really worth it

Yea Have A Damier Graphite and Damier Eben I Got From My Parents For My Birthday But, I Don't Wear Them Much Now Because They Have A Small Buckle and I Really Don't Want to Tuck My Shirt All The Way In. I Prefer Now Gucci and FENDI Because of The Large Buckle They Are More Noticeable and Also Look Nice.

I Personally don't like LV belts, because when the Buckle scratches up, it looks absolutely Horrid. I also noticed you said you haven't bought a ferragamo belt lol, I used to say the same thing, But now I own 3 of them , I don't go for the typical ferragamo buckle as it's too small and kind of dress-like, Go for the double gancini suede one, it's 340 and very beautifully made. :D

Great vid! I have the same issue with my LV belt i prefer my mcm one more because more comfort and quality of the leather is soft. Kinda disappointing to see that happen to Louis product when they're so expensive.
Great vid man very insightful. I've worn my Damier Ebene LV a few times a week since I got it about 18 months ago and I the way it's held up has been less than what I hoped for. I wear it either in the middle hole or the second hole and both are quite oval shaped now. Also the reverse side is quite worn and the belt is an arc rather than straight. However in its defense I will say that absolutely no stitching or fading/scratching of the canvas has occurred and the buckle looks like brand new. Just purchased a steel grey Fendi (it's dark as fuck), have just tried it on once. Keen to see how it holds up in the real world! Dat H belt tho... Edit: My friend has used his LV Damier Graphite (same as in video) for about 4 years and that thing looks crap. Buckle is fucked up, the holes are very worn out, the belt is thinner (and therefore longer) than it was. Canvas looks new tho and the buckle stays in the hole tightly. Baller.

P/s: I bought Gucci silver buckle and Versace gold medusa head :] However I lost my gucci at the gym so I'm heading to buy Givenchy "HdG" logo belt now. Belts are supposed to warp. Good oeather molds anr conforms to the shape of your body, the fattwr u are usually the bigger parabola the belt tends to make.

I also noticed you said you haven't bought a ferragamo belt lol, I used to say the same thing, But now I own 3 of them , I don't go for the typical ferragamo buckle as it's too small and kind of dress-like, Go for the double gancini suede one, it's 340 and very beautifully made. :D

Great vid! I have the same issue with my LV belt i prefer my mcm one more because more comfort and quality of the leather is soft. Kinda disappointing to see that happen to Louis product when they're so expensive.
According to your guide, I assessed the Versace belt from buistore.co, and found it is soft, is that means the quality is ok?

Great vid man very insightful. I've worn my Damier Ebene LV a few times a week since I got it about 18 months ago and I the way it's held up has been less than what I hoped for. I wear it either in the middle hole or the second hole and both are quite oval shaped now. Also the reverse side is quite worn and the belt is an arc rather than straight. However in its defense I will say that absolutely no stitching or fading/scratching of the canvas has occurred and the buckle looks like brand new.
Just purchased a steel grey Fendi (it's dark as fuck), have just tried it on once. Keen to see how it holds up in the real world!

Edit: My friend has used his LV Damier Graphite (same as in video) for about 4 years and that thing looks crap. Buckle is fucked up, the holes are very worn out, the belt is thinner (and therefore longer) than it was. Canvas looks new tho and the buckle stays in the hole tightly. Baller.

They are all different price ranges, the MCM is cheapest, Fendi and LV are around the same price, and the Hermes is the most expensive.
Should I get a gucci, Versace with the Medusa head, or a Louis Vuitton belt?!?! I'm leaning towards The Versace one.
LV and Gucci have class, never get old. However, get the Versace one, you don't wanna look like everyone else right :D ?
P/s: I bought Gucci silver buckle and Versace gold medusa head :] However I lost my gucci at the gym so I'm heading to buy Givenchy "HdG" logo belt now. Look similar to Hermes however more affordable and look unique.

I just bought a fendi belt, it has a regular font FF connected on the buckle, I did look into this one but I thought that that one would be kinda obnoxious.

Belts are supposed to warp. Good oeather molds anr conforms to the shape of your body, the fattwr u are usually the bigger parabola the belt tends to make.

Very informative video, going to get hermes soon. I currently use a belt by Bally, which has held up really well, with great quality. Also S Ferragamo is another great lux. brand producing great belts.

the fendi will warp quicker. fendi and Gucci buckles scratch, but Gucci scratches on the buckle will be more obvious. I like the fendi college black, but the gold buckled Gucci belts are dope. that MCM this guy has is also nice as hell since its reversible. that tan side MCM, with some blue true religions, some Tims, a black t with silver writing, and a silver MK watch....Fly as fucj
