I'm currently making 9 inch unfinished blocks and I foolishly made all the outer fabrics of the square differently. I now see many use the same fabrics as a 'background'. Oh well, I was using scraps and It'll look jagged once I sash them all together or for that matter, sew them together. Live and learn . Thanks for your tutorial on squaring.
Just discovered your channel. I start quilting this year, a long time pre-tire meant goal. I like your POV. I am drawn to modern fabric/color but I’d like to combine by tapping into my family’s early-American Quaker roots.
