The way my jaw dropped at the switch footage of Lake. That is such a shame! Even on PC it’s not very well optimized (it looks beautiful and smooth, but the fans go top speed as if I’m playing a graphically demanding game like BG3) I hope they go back and fix it!
If you haven't tried tunic or animal well yet they're amazing...11 out of 10...both very puzzly games with tons of secrets to uncover. I'm so excited you tried outer wilds, it's absolutely magical, I wish I could do it again for the first time!
Can you go into underwater caves? That'd be something I'd love to see, to be able to explore underwater caves without worrying about getting stuck and running out of air...
My 4 year old daughter watched someone play through the demo a few months ago and asked me every single day until release day when it was coming out lol. We took Friday off and called in “sick” and stayed home and played all day. We had so much fun! It’s the best middle ground game for us since it’s wholesome, fun, funny and has excellent writing- and it’s not super boring for me to do it with her like a lot of games geared towards little kids like Paw Patrol etc. She played Princess Peach on her own with minimal help, but we had so much fun playing Little Kitty together ❤
With Little Kitty I was a bit disappointed by the limitation on jump height - I've seen how high a cat can jump when it wants to get to a high ledge, and LK fell a bit short of the mark in my eyes, but I still love it!
I love My Time at Sandrock and I HIGHLY recommend it. The game takes a longggg time to complete (story wise) but there’s so much to do and the characters are 10/10
My boyfriend took my switch while I was sleeping and downloaded Little Kitty Big City the day it released. I had such an amazing time with it. It was short but so immersive. I do wish they had more quests and a little bit of a bigger map but I enjoyed my time with it so much. I was genuinely giddy the whole time I played!
Really happy to hear My Time at Sandrock is much better now. I really tried to get into it when it first released but put it down because it felt so unfinished. Will definitely be re-picking it up based on your feedback. Thank you!
Hey Eeowna!! I was thinking about you the other day, I am a cozy gamer and I love some RPG here and there. I just finished Skyrim on the easy mode, and I really believe it can pass as a cozy game! I am currently hearing you talking about Hades, so I believe we think similarly! I don't know if you have played Skyrim but I think you would like it! Thanks you for another video, Hades and Botany Manor look great!!
On Balatro, the “Run Info” big red square at the side literally tells you every hand type and what level and multiplier you’ll get. So you don’t have to know anything about Poker.
Im so glad Another Code was included. So being someone who was SUPER attached to it when she was... 12? The original release called Trace Memory for the 1st DS was where the gold was! The mystery for the Island and its lore and the ghost D, had so much more depth and all of it done through dialogue and investigation. This was also when we barely had people talking about 2nd endings so the replay value was an actual shocker. I replayed this game (and cried) so many times so when Code was released I HAD TO grab it. Also Code acts like a sequel in the 2nd half of the game so if anyone can get their hands on a DS and play Trace YOU NEED TO! Unfortunately, Code suffers from that missing depth I mentioned (Trace had much more challenging and satisfying puzzles and clues to uncover) and in order to truly appreciate what an underrated masterpiece this story was, I cannot stress enough how much you need to play Trace Memory 1st. I wish more people talk about it even though we are a decade in already lol.
Sticky Business absolutely has a plot, AND they do tell you what stickers they want. The stickers you make prompt messages from your repeat customers. They tell you about their lives and how the stickers you made helped them with xyz. They'll also straight up tell you "I want a dinosaur sticker" or "I'd love a travel sticker" etc, so not sure what you're on about here T_T
Perfect explanation of Outer Wilds haha. I played the game on PC a while ago so it’s an absolute S tier, and easily my favorite game I’ve ever played, but I can imagine it not being as well on the Switch. So yeah for anyone who wants to play it, and has the option between PC or Switch, definitely choose to play it on PC.
I HAVE to share this because it caught me off guard and I was sooo wrong when I first judge it "Planter Crafters" is a steam game that blew me away there is no fighting is about crafting and managing resources as a person in a uninhabitable planet and all you have to do is make it habitable again... it sounds simple but give it a try took hoursssss off my life and well worth it in my opinion.
Played Lake on PS5 and loved it. Only game I've gone platinum on. So super cozy. If the best song (Witchcraft) is on the radio I just drive around the lake until it stops. Love the feel of this game
Did you play the PS4 or PS5 version? I tried playing the game earlier this week, but it was so buggy and the framerate was all over the place. It was the PS5 physical edition (fully updated). Had to quit playing after about 2 hours.
I looked up the games you recommended and “none” of them came up on my Nintendo Switch. You are usually pretty honest and nice to listen to,but the trust is gone forever.
Absolutely such a good ranking! Loving the new backdrop, I hope you’re feeling comfy in your new house! 100% agree echoes of the plum grove has been such a wild ride, and I am so here for it haha!
so glad you loved hades! it's my absolute favorite game ever. i'm trying so so hard to avoid hades 2 spoilers because i want the full experience but idk how long i can last
I really like your indepth thoughts on these games! I want to be a content game designer, and watching your vids give lots of understandable notes on what works and what doesnt in games, so thank you
I have really enjoyed your videos, and they have helped me make some great gift selections for my 10 and 12 year old daughters for their Switch. We enjoy playing together, even though I had barely touched a video game since the late 90s with my brother. Request: I hear you use descriptions/genres like Rogue like (or is it Rogue light?), but I don’t know the definitions beyond simple platformer and RPG games (like Final Fantasy?). I would really appreciate a video explaining genres. Your channel seems beginner friendly, and I can’t be the only one who doesn’t know. I’ve tried to look it up, but it’s surprisingly difficult to find a good description of the various game types. Thanks!
Hades is incredible. I was so hooked on that game and I think I've put in something like 110 hours into it. Can't wait for Hades 2 to come to the Switch!
can u make a tier list for switch exclusive games. i have a pc so i purchase all my games there, but i love playing the nintendo type games like zelda, pokemon and such on the switch
I love your videos and recommendations soooo much! But since im german I sometimes have a hard time understanding, it would really help if you could write the name of the games somewhere. I know you do this in basically every other video and I’m sooooo thankful for that. But the ranking videos don’t have that an I struggle with finding the right name of the game.
Peach totally fell into Pink tax. I was so excited for Peach to finally be getting some more love, and I loved the game too if it had had more content for what we paid. OMG. I was so into it, and then it just ended.
I'm surprised Snufkin wasn't higher because it's definitely one of my favorite games of the year! but i suppose I did buy it discounted, but at least its not as much as Endless Ocean. I also played it really slowly and took a ton of screenshots just staring at the scenery. Good list tho! You may have convinced me to try Outer Wilds next time it's on sale.
I'm late to the party, but I have so many thoughts about Endless Ocean: Luminous and I haven't seen anywhere discussing the game in any sort of detail where I could share them. You touched on some of them in your video, but I don't see anything mentioned in regards to one very important thing to keep in mind; Endless Ocean is a SERIES. The two prior games, Endless Ocean and Endless Ocean Blue World, were Wii games with a small but dedicated following. Luminous looks at the first two games, which are some of the best early diving games out there, and spits in their face. Absolutely no thought was put into what made the first two games work so well when Luminous was developed, they just picked a little known IP and decided to try and make a low-risk cash grab out of it. The only thing Luminous does better is it's multiplayer, but somehow a modern switch game beating out two pre-2010 games' multiplayer isn't much of an achievement in my eyes. Here are just some series staples that Luminous is missing: a story mode that is actually good, with characters that feel unique and have personality; the fish interactivity that you mentioned in your video, including: Petting fish, feeding fish, whistling to fish, grabbing on to and riding larger fish/whales, healing sick or injured fish, befriending dolphin partners, diving with your dolphin partners and training said partner to do tricks; an iconic and gorgeous soundtrack with songs courtesy of the talented Hayley Westenra, as well as a playlist selector where once you unlocked music in the game you can choose them for later dives (this seems common place now, but remember; these games were released in '07 and '09, not many other games at the time had that feature); Actual hub areas where you can interact with flying or land dwelling marine creatures or NPCs; building your own coral reef or aquarium exhibit; Multiple distinct locations and biomes both within one region and across the world; and (one point against the tranquil feel that some may not like) in BW some of creatures are territorial and you need to soothe them before you can dive near them. There is sooo much more missing in Luminous but I really need to step off my soap box lol. In short, if anyone here enjoys the vibes of Luminous but feels the game is missing something, that's because it is, and what it's missing are in the first two games. Seeing that they are on the wii, access to them is limited, but I can sign off on existing emulations for both games working really well on PC once you get the wii remote settings right. I highly recommend the first two games if you enjoyed Luminous.
i was so so so disappointed with endless ocean. i looooved the wii games, especially the sequel, with the story and the island home base and traveling and pretty much everything the switch game lacks. i hate the ai voice character and i didn't want procedurely generated terrain, i wanted a game designed by people who care about it, which obviously nintendo didn't. i wish i didn't spend $50 on this preorder :C
I love The Outer Wilds so much, well, love hate, it’s so hard for me to beattttt. I ended up looking up cheats 2nd play through but I still couldn’t beat it. Got to the very last part but couldn’t do everything in time and got frustrated so I put it down and haven’t played again. But man the atmosphere, exploration, music, and vibe of the game are just breathtaking and heartbreaking at the same time
I’m really late to the game Rune Factory 4 and I would love to know what you think of that game? I very much trust your opinion. I’d you have a review on your channel I would watch that - I just can’t find it. I welcome thoughts from anyone else as well!
Hi, i'm really enjoying your channel , i like your choice of games and even though I don't use my switch as much as I use my PS5/4 , PC, mobile for gaming I have started to get into some games on switch thanks to your channel. So I wanted to return the favour and tell you about a game i' m about to buy on steam i know it's on switch but with some games i prefer a larger screen. It's called MOONSTONE ISLAND and it's a CREATURE COLLECTING, FARMING/ LIFE SIM with CARD USE TURN BASED COMBAT, it's in a pixel art style it looks really cute and just thought you might love it so I should pass it on .
Hi Eeowna! 😊 I love your videos! I was just wondering, have you ever tried Rune Factory 3 Special or Rune Factory 4 Special?? They’re REALLY good cozy farming sims with characters with very interesting personalities and TONS of dialogue. It’s anime style. I’ve enjoyed them since they were on the DS and 3DS. The ports are really good and have updated graphics a bit and there is an added Newlywed mode. There is also Rune Factory 5. The newest instalment to the Rune Factory series but it’s a bit laggy on Switch. I suggest playing it on PC for a better experience if you wanna try that one. That being said, I think Rune Factory 4 Special is my favourite. I barely hear anyone talking about these games and would LOVE to know what you think about them 😊🙏
Both Planet of Lana and Little Kitty Big City I want but not at their price now. They are both about 5 hrs of play without much replayability IMO but they both seem pretty awesome. I have been obsessed with Snacko lately
If you’re prone to existential crises like I am, just a warning that Outer Wilds sent me into a BIG spiral 😭 It’s a gorgeous game but I found the entire premise very depressing. But ymmv!! It’s definitely a very effecting game either way
I agree 100% on Bandle Tale. loved it but the last two hours or so were so grindy, it overstayed its welcome a little bit. that said, since you recommended it, I will try Hades. while very interesting, I never thought it was a game for me, but will give it a try!
Yeah they dropped the ball hard with the 3rd Endless Ocean. You used to be able to pet the fish, heal them and feed them. I hate the AI voice, they truly took the soul out of the previous games and put all their effort into the online mode, which is super fun.
the new endless ocean is such a disappointment compared to the older ones... this game just feels like im trying to scan as many fish as fast as possible, while the first two games really made it feel like an underwater adventure :(
Haven't played the Peach game yet, even though Peach is my favorite character in the Super Mario-universe and the character I always play as in Mario Party, because it looks quite disappointing for the price and also a bit too easy for me and I feel like Peach deserves better. She deserves a Peach Odyssey; something big and wonderful with a lot of polish. If it gets a sale where it's really cheap I'll consider it, but now it seems like it's probably fun enough, but all in all not worth it. I do want to get Little Kitty Big City at some point, I'm not sold on the looks of Balantro (but I'd probably get addicted if I played it), I enjoyed Snufkin (only disliking that I clicked to fast through some dialogue at the end with results that annoyed me a lot) and personally I haven't clicked with Outer World yet, but that's more about the timing and a lack of patience than the game itself and I still find lots of it intriguing.
Watching your video and the number of times I heard you say a game is overpriced or a high price for the game. I’m just wondering if this is the norm now, with the prices in the supermarkets and the cost of living I’m just wondering if the cost of games and “luxury” items has gone up too. Love your videos so thank you for the content.
I appreciate this criticism because I definitely have a cost-benefit mindset for gaming. It is hard to place a value, but I think most of us can play a game and say yes it was worth $x or it no, it wasn’t. I’m hoping Endless Ocean has a sale because I’d be willing to pay ~$30 USD. Def not $50.
I love lake I watched different streamers play it . I wasn’t going to but it because of the graphics . I love the storyline to resist its on my wishlist . Considering that it looks nice on the pc it still have bugs like audio lagging. So either way it’s not that good of a game other that the storyline which is why I want to buy it because I don’t have any games like it.
When Lake first came out I was still rocking an xbox one and it ran like crap on that system too, maybe the devs didn't optimize for consoles very well

Thanks so much for this comment! I was struggling with finding the name of the games😅
NEW HOUSE!! Love the warm backlighting - congrats on the move 🤗
Echos of Plum Grove is not on switch :( also no release date yet
I'm so glad you re-rated my time at Sandrock since the latest Switch update. It's now one of my all time favorite cozy games!
The way my jaw dropped at the switch footage of Lake. That is such a shame! Even on PC it’s not very well optimized (it looks beautiful and smooth, but the fans go top speed as if I’m playing a graphically demanding game like BG3)
I hope they go back and fix it!
Omg... that's such a disgrace of a port. The PC version is gorgeous.
If you haven't tried tunic or animal well yet they're amazing...11 out of 10...both very puzzly games with tons of secrets to uncover. I'm so excited you tried outer wilds, it's absolutely magical, I wish I could do it again for the first time!
Love it. But yeah, Endless Ocean isn’t bad game, yet it feels like bit like a cozy game. Sadly, it miss some stuff in some range.
Can you go into underwater caves? That'd be something I'd love to see, to be able to explore underwater caves without worrying about getting stuck and running out of air...
You’re the greatest!!! Been watching since I got a switch !! One of my fav channels!!
I’m playing Little Kitty Big City and absolutely love how chill & adorable it is! Great when winding down after a workday imo ❤
Too bad it's short! I could play ir for 100 hours!
You are the absolute best please keep your videos coming, we love you!!!
I can’t wait for plum grove to come to the switch
Hades was the reason I even bought a switch. I absolutely love that game and I can’t wait for the second one!
With Little Kitty I was a bit disappointed by the limitation on jump height - I've seen how high a cat can jump when it wants to get to a high ledge, and LK fell a bit short of the mark in my eyes, but I still love it!
XBox game pass is a godsend. played a lot of games that had steep prices like botany manor and little kitty big city.
Hades 2 is such a cozy farming sim, You can fish, forage, mine, farm, likee I'm not even joking
Um
I love My Time at Sandrock and I HIGHLY recommend it. The game takes a longggg time to complete (story wise) but there’s so much to do and the characters are 10/10
19:30 you can check the poker hands by clicking on run info in the bottom left
Have you ever tried to the RESCUE a dog schelter simulator?
Its one of my top favorite 3 games ever and is also so cheap for what it is.
I heard it’s super buggy so I passed on it. Did they fix it?
I heard that too but bought it anyway and never had any problems.
I loved Lake. It was fun and relaxing to play. Loved the soundtrack
Thanks i am so glad you take price in to account in the rankings.
Always! I was a broke student for the longest time so it was always something I thought about
Wait echoes of plum grove is not on switch
I got so excited thinking it was 😭
Same now I’m so sad lol
Really happy to hear My Time at Sandrock is much better now. I really tried to get into it when it first released but put it down because it felt so unfinished.
Will definitely be re-picking it up based on your feedback. Thank you!

I loved playing Lake! Played it on the PC and XBox Series S and enjoyed it a lot!!! Wish they did it better on the switch...
Hades was the game that got me into the Roguelike genre, no joke. One of my favourite games of all time

Lmaooo thank you
You are such an awesome reviewer! So positive and relaxing to view.
Lake is SO FUN I played it on the PS4 and the holiday dlc is so fun too. Highly recommend on other consoles.
Love seeing your channel grow! ❤keep it coming!
Absolutely such a good ranking! Loving the new backdrop, I hope you’re feeling comfy in your new house! 100% agree echoes of the plum grove has been such a wild ride, and I am so here for it haha!
Paleo Pines was a huge letdown for me this year.
In balatro if you click the "-" button you can see all the kinds of hands, how they are built and their multipliers
Have you seen the game the wild at heart it's like pikmin with a moomin valley art style so cute
so glad you loved hades! it's my absolute favorite game ever. i'm trying so so hard to avoid hades 2 spoilers because i want the full experience but idk how long i can last

Thanks again for this. Picked up a few games!
Just got my breakfast ready, sat down and seen this pop up!! It’s gonna be a good day!! Love your channel and love me a tier list!!
can u make a tier list for switch exclusive games. i have a pc so i purchase all my games there, but i love playing the nintendo type games like zelda, pokemon and such on the switch
Might be a dumb question...but how are you getting echo of plum grove on the switch?

I love your videos and recommendations soooo much! But since im german I sometimes have a hard time understanding, it would really help if you could write the name of the games somewhere. Have you checked out Little Goody Two Shoes? The puzzles can be frustrating but I love everything else about it!

Ahhhh you’ve convinced me on Echoes of Plum Grove ❤❤🎉🎉
Your videos are my favourite :) you've led me towards so many great titles
play animal well!!! you will love it. best game i've played this year so far
I love The Outer Wilds so much, well, love hate, it’s so hard for me to beattttt. I ended up looking up cheats 2nd play through but I still couldn’t beat it. Got to the very last part but couldn’t do everything in time and got frustrated so I put it down and haven’t played again. But man the atmosphere, exploration, music, and vibe of the game are just breathtaking and heartbreaking at the same time
I think that wallpaper you have up is the exact same one I actually just put up in my room last week! Great taste 🥳
I haven’t even purchased Endless Ocean just yet and you’re already giving me some good and bad.
Good video, congrats on the move!🐼
Can anyone help me and explain how you can fly in outerwilds cuz i am STRUGGLING.. :/
Would love to see a tier ranking of Nintendo's Mario games
You are so good at explaining games❤
Ive been falling asleep before streams so I'm excited to see you new house ❤❤
I barely hear anyone talking about these games and would LOVE to know what you think about them 😊🙏
Outer wilds kinda reminds me of Ephemeral Fantasia. Except in space.
What’s your favorite Balatro deck? I like Green but it’s close.
But ymmv!! It’s definitely a very effecting game either way
I got so excited about echoes of plum grove on switch but its not out yet😭. I have a pc but its such a switch game tbh
Open roads is one I would like your opinion on.
I agree 100% on Bandle Tale. loved it but the last two hours or so were so grindy, it overstayed its welcome a little bit. that said, since you recommended it, I will try Hades. while very interesting, I never thought it was a game for me, but will give it a try!
Hi stupid question but why is the top tier S what does that stand for?
Usually stands for Super or Special. Basically the best of the best is in this category.
@@breezyninja93 Thank you x
Yeah they dropped the ball hard with the 3rd Endless Ocean. You used to be able to pet the fish, heal them and feed them. I hate the AI voice, they truly took the soul out of the previous games and put all their effort into the online mode, which is super fun.
Love a tier list. 🙌🏼
Definitely disapponted in Sticky Business but at least it was cheap 😊 My 7 year old loves the Princess Peach game handily since that was so pricey.
the new endless ocean is such a disappointment compared to the older ones... this game just feels like im trying to scan as many fish as fast as possible, while the first two games really made it feel like an underwater adventure :(
Hades 2 will be PC only?
Yeah it’s weird - it also could be that, I think it just depends on how much you’re willing to pay for a 4 hr journey as well.
Hades is great . I pretty much just play roguelites now
Alright fine I'll buy Plum Grove
I love lake I watched different streamers play it . I wasn’t going to but it because of the graphics . I love the storyline to resist its on my wishlist . Considering that it looks nice on the pc it still have bugs like audio lagging. So either way it’s not that good of a game other that the storyline which is why I want to buy it because I don’t have any games like it.
I think you're a secret roguelike lover 😬
Plum Grove looks pretty fabulous
When Lake first came out I was still rocking an xbox one and it ran like crap on that system too, maybe the devs didn't optimize for consoles very well
Half a year? Omg
Great video as always!
I have so many of these on my wishlist right now!!
@Eeowna If you like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles you MUST try Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. Considering you like hades.
Endless ocean is I would thought it be a lot more colorful like real fish are
❤loved Little Kitty Big City. Thought Princess Peach very disappointing for the price.
I was so disappointed with endless oceans 😢. It's definitely a purchase I regret.
