Do you know of any new infrastructural and expansion plans for this airport? Because if it is that the airport has grown out of capacity, and is planning on taking on daily flights PLUS a new country's airline; then that would mean it needs to expand QUICKLY. There are nearby lands that could be used to accommodate its growth, so those could be taken into consideration too. A larger terminal building and more parking space is definitely required.
Tourism in Jamaica doesn’t only come from the region but universally far and wide, we really do international tourism so it is quite normal to receive visitors from Israel . Normal thing to see flags of countries that visits this attraction.
Look guys...the market is not there for this airport....plus it's a very small airport that's not enticing for larger jets....lot's more needs to bring done for it to be a true international airport.
The runway is the problem, the E175 which AA currently uses can be used but longer distances equals more fuel equals more weight equals longer take off distance

It is a true international airport, but not a large one .Large aircraft are not able to land only size like what the American eagle operates .
