No, drax hall won't overtake Ochi. Drax Hall may have all the shops in one area, while Ochi spreads out and the shops are modernly built. Because Ochi is bigger than Drax Hall.

Draxhall is on extension of st Ann's Bay. And not ocho Rios. St Ann's Bay have three properties draxhall Windsor and Seville

Draxhall is a different concept and it's lovely, Island Village holds it's own it's one up on Draxhall it has baches and Duty Free shops

It is a good look for Jamaica. Development and modernisation is coming on stream. I am not political person but it seems like the government is trying.

I love how the place is coming up bro Sam. My concern though is with all this development comes trafic and as a bus driver myself I can't help but wonder what are the plans to widen the road for another lane going in both direction. Its a dormitory community. It's not a plan urban town with sreets. It is just one main street with people constructing buildings. It needs better planning with different sets.

Inside the new Juici Patties in Drax Hall looks like the newly renovated one at Half Way Tree. And besides the one at Clarendon Park, I don't think I've ever seen a Juici Drive Thru before? This is really amazing breakthrough for Drax Hall. As you had said it, Drax Hall is becoming pretty much an extension of Ocho Rios. I notice most, if not every, major business brand (so far) that exists in Drax Hall also exists in Ochi (KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Total Tools, Juici, Boot, TotalEnergies, Mother's, Courts, Sakura etc). You can also tell Drax Hall is being built alongside Ocho Rios' economically simply due to the similar amenities between the two, even though Drax Hall is clearly going to become the more modern and urbanized area of the two. Pity you didn't travel down further to take a look at the Total Tools and Fosrich buildings, and the new C4 complex with the new Mother's (and Mother's Cafe) down there, but I figured you were strapped for time. Uncorked is also opening up not too far from the Knutsford Express, and just to emphasize how significant this is, only Montego Bay Fairview and the Kingston Liguanea, Barbican and Constant Spring areas have one too. And the one in Drax Hall looks LARGE. When you put that to context, Drax Hall is currently going through an unusually modern wave of urban development and buzz only a handful of places in Jamaica have. But as developed as Drax Hall gets, I do not think it will ever deviate or fully take over from Ocho Rios, simply because of how internationally recognized "Ocho Rios" is. Said it before, I'll say it again: Drax Hall is becoming the "Ironshore" of St. Ann.
