Looking forward to sharing our hobby together and continuing to learn more about awesome knives!!! Thanks for sharing. I have a Rat 1 and I fully agree, it punches way above its weight.

Rat1 or Rat2 are the most iconic budget knives. They are great working knives. From the time when bearings was not invented, and still rats have great action. For me they will be the best budget knife. I would say that they was the first knives that was the "great budget knife".
    Rat1/Rat2 an icon!

@danegavrilovski extremely well said!!! I concur that sentiment completely. The rat 1 is by far the most usable and well-rounded budget knife on the market. No frills, just the basics. It conforms to any users need or likes. It is rugged. It is easy to sharpen. It is perfect for.left or right handers. The blade is large and durable, yet a great slicer as well. Steel liners that are thick and durable. I can go one for days! I love the Rat 2 also, but my Rat 1 is branded on my heart.
Thank you so much for your comment and feedback. You have an excellent take on these knives, and I can just refer to your comment in case anyone has questions about them. Lol

Hey man another great video! Dang that was like my dream Christmas morning 😅. It's funny I have had my eye on almost all of these! Especially the first 3. Love the look of them all. I really really dig the qsp vault. I'm an ol country boy and that vault has some classic knife looks with a smooth modern locking mechanism. Love it. That T J sounded darn sweet when you took it out! I really like that Cali also. Is the tip ground to a different angle? I also like that slight rise on the back of it. Nice attention to detail to make a more comfortable grip. And if I was going for a sencut those two are up there.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing. I actually thought of you when I was looking at the qsp vault the other day. Thought you would probably like it.

thanks for another great comment!!! You have excellent takes on this stuff!. Yes, the tip is ground to a different angle. They are all great knives, and honestly, I was far more impressed than I thought I was going to be. I just told someone last night in the comments that even though I liked the raccoon the most on first impressions, the Vault just kept coming to mind and sticking out. That is a dang good knife!!! Feels good in hand, excellent weight, and all-around great quality to the fit and finish. That was a really good unboxing with quality budget knives. Most felt more premium than they are. The LT5, forget about it!!! In the words of a mafioso movie. Lol. Its out of the park home run! The kali and Vault both shocked me, pleasantly, and the Raccoon lived up to the hype. Don't sleep on that Hyrax either, for the price it feels great in hand. The blade grind and shape stand out, not to mention the colored G10.
Thank you for thinking of me when knife browsing, I'm humbled. Thanks for always being great to engage with as well. I love your comments, and look forward to many many more!

Yeah I was the same when I started out. That's how I ended up with 8 kershaw knives and 6 Case knives. I like them all but their is so much more out there. I think I have the same RAT 1. I LOVE THAT THING. There is just something about it. Feels great in hand, smooth action, simple honest lines. It's my go to in the pocket knife when camping. Thanks for the heads up on that p801. It soes have sebenza ish look. 35 bucks! Nice. My hardware store in town is a Case dealer that's how I ended up with those. Go in for a 6 buck pack of nails and leave with an 80 dollar russlock 😂. Oh yeah people are sleeping on the swisstech. I hear nothing but good things about them. They have an izula looking fixed blade. Only think keeping me from getting one is I think it has fiberglass in the sheath. Pretty sure that dulls the blade just from taking it out.idk.
Nice video early bird. Keep em coming. I always smile an click right on ya when I see a new one. You have a chill and honest approach I like.

Thank you greatly!!!! I was in sales for 2 decades, and I always did well because I never tried to sell a thing. I liked talking to people and educating them on the subject and using logic. They would either want it or not, it was my job to inform them. You said a couple things that ring very true, BTW! First, our ACE hardware is a case dealer, and omg, they have a lot of knives!!! Way too overpriced, though. I compare prices when I look there, and they are always 20% higher than online retailers. Second, I can't believe you said that about the Swiss Tech sheath!! I scream that to people i see with those, and no one knows or cares. Yes, it dulls your blade constantly!!! You know your knives, and your comment will help others, I'm sure. Thank you so much for your.commemt, I'm very grateful!

G'day Chris, my name is Luke by the way mate. Zytell ? I've never heard of it hrmmm I wonder if it's a fancy pants name for FRN or Fiber Reinforced Nylon? K-Bars answer to an endela or delica? Also you want an absolute banger of a knife that is the very epitome of awesome value for money & every time you flip it (front flipper so practice mate lol) you smile a huge smile at the feel in hand & the size of the blade, the Kizer Momo (not the expensive S35vn carbon fiber version, although I'm sure that one is great too), Ps when I win the competition LOL jk, I figured that you'll be EXTRA generous as $200 usd is actually $309.55aud, so in truth it's a more expensive competition LOL LOL JK. Cheers Chris another AWESOME VIDEO MATE!!! Oh I forgot, the Rat 1 OKC darn skippy, it should be in any collection!!! lol I do miss mine!!

My son said the same thing last night!! I'm gonna order the MOMO and check it out. You usually are right on in your takes on knives. BTW, it's great to meet you Luke!!! Really quick, and unrelated, I'll give you an example of what we talked about before. My boys' names are Elijah Jacob Israel, Abel Isaiah David, Noah Michael Joshua, and Zachary Moses Nathanial! I branded them for life!! Lol. Thank you, as always, for your kind and awesome comment! I look forward to them. The same as you say you look for the videos. They mean a lot!!!

@@theun-professionaldad2232 Nice to meet you to Chris 😀👍🙏. Really? Lol your son is all over it then mate, because the Momo, is well I'd say almost as essential for any collection as the Rat 1, quite simply put the Kizer Momo is 110% quality/value for money/grin inspiring/AWESOME food prep knife/designed by a Russian fellow, I truly love mine, I'm kind of thinking 🤔 😉 😀 you'd love it too!! Okay mate, pound for pound they are the best names for young lads I've honestly ever heard!! Makes my heart swell with joy knowing there's a great dad in the world who sincerely loves the Lord Jesus Christ & who cares enough to bring his precious boys up in the way that they should go 😀❤️🙏👍🕊🕊🕊. I don't have any children, so I try my best to do the same for my nieces & nephews, though I don't see them as often as I like, but... praise The Lord Jesus Christ, that's where prayer comes in 😀👍🙏🕊. Spent last night, listening to & watching your videos, shopping for new knives & tinkering with my modern folders & my traditionals, man I sincerely love GEC (can't get them here) & Buck's, & I like Case too, just good ol hearty USA 🇺🇸 made quality that you can count on, another reason why the Houge Deka kind of saddened my heart really, it was like "ahhh No, American made means unmatched quality & reliability & value, & THIS does NOT feel like quality nor does it feel in any way reliable, & it cost far more than what it was worth!" Lol. Ahhh well it's 5:25am here & I'm going to go & enjoy my coffee, read my KJV Holy Bible & spend my morning with The Holy Spirit, you take care now brother, God bless, keep & protect you all mate, & thanks again Chris, always great talking with you brother. 😀🕊🕊🕊🙏.

I have 65 knives,(cause I'm a head case). I just love 'em, 38 of them are sub $100 and several of them are sub $25, and they're great. I totally agree with your point that you really don't need to spend much to get a good user knife. so, why do I have a $500 Chris Reeves sebenza? cause I wanted it, it makes me feel good. I've watched several of your video's and you have a very likeable presentation. my unsolicited suggestion might be to make them shorter. 47 minutes to talk about 5 budget knives might be a tad long for some people
