Im so Jealous! Couldnt get my hands on one if I had the cheddar to put out for it "and i surely would. The Django, Pulsar, or the Chad. However, the textured variant of scales I like (think the original pulsar, reminiscent of a melted bastard file) on any of the models of Kuhnwu, are currently sold out, pretty much every-fn'-whirr😂 Also, Id like to add, that I too, share a love for all things crisply and just the perfect type of knurled. Aggressive, but with the first thirty-thousanths of the top brought down on a high speed cleanup pass.. Like that obscure but familiar-to-me Pilot pen. (Yep, were that alike that I own one too, purely on the strength that its got that industrial, yet artistic and errily perfect, utilitarian look with enough quality components, thats it's just begging to become "Exhibit A" if its what i got, and someone wants to see real life, then nothing, ever again. 😂😂😂 Id like to add, have you had the pleasure of handling a knurled "Quiet Carry"? Something tells me that if i got to pick one up, id hand the dealer a blank check and tell him "handle it" and run home (with it closed) like Charlie Bucketts broke ass in "Willy Wonka" The real version, not that Johnny Depp dumpster fire, when he found the ticket.....🤩🤔🥰

I like the 3.0, but the moves upwards in size are more appealing for my larger hands. You have good taste, though, no doubt. Now, the M21! Need i say more? What a great knife. Their entire M16 and M21 line is fantastic! Tactical, yet very EDC efficient. It has style, and it is a time-tested and proven knife. I like the flat earth look on them, but I'm more of a fan of the black. More sleak and tactical. Its also one of the only knives I think serrations look good on. the Bugout is so nice I bought it twice. I'm not a fan of the Elementum either. The yonder looks interesting and I'm a fan of Zack. I do believe the Griptillian was discontinued. I wanted the topo version of the iridium. If the Hectre came in Nitro-V or 14C28N it would be a game changer. I did catch the D2 comment, and I had to stop and think about it. I have the 20CV Deka and the base scales are better than the magnacut ones. May I suggest another bugout alternative The Ruike P801 it, due to its steel scales it weighs a ton compared to the bugout however, for 40 or so dollars it's not bad.

I enjoy the longer format personally. As much as I agree with you about American made knives, what comes out of Taiwan has really surprised me. Cold steel is good for quality for the money (assuming you're not going for a pocket sword lol) and I love Taichung Spydercos, I might be biased because I enjoy the designs though haha. My first somewhat expensive knife was an Endura 4 super light weight for the size. But it was a nice upgrade from the 8 dollar knife I had before haha. Edit I made this before finishing the video, seeing the ad10 was nice, what do you think of the ad15? Are they similar enough if I have an ad15 I don't really need the ad10? Mostly in terms of how the blade performs, I know the ad10 will overall be more robust, but I really like how easy the ad15 is to manipulate while still having a bigger blade.

Yes! 👍 I liked the video & subscribed, AND IM THE 100TH Subscriber! Thats never been me before. I stumbled upon your channel for the exact reason you made it! Xmas is right around the corner, im 42, have ALWAYS loved knives, and im at that point in my life that I never lose things anymore, and enjoy the feeling of buying once, then owning, and using said item until its got its own personality, and or patina, and wear patterns, kinda like the neck on one of my 24 year old guitars ive had since i graduated back in 2000. There are wear patterns on the top of the rosewood fretboard in all the Major and Minor chord shapes, as well as quite a few seemingly random paths higher on the neck from improvising and grabbing familiar scales (like minor pentatonic, it fits anywhere in the correct key) and although ive had a laundry list of Buck 110s, CaseXXXs, random gun show United and Frost cutleries, and gas station zombie killers, Balisongs of varying qualities, and even one or two 80 to 100.00 out-the-front name brand clones from the weed pipe stores in St Louis, Missouri... But youve hit the nail on the head, im looking for my first QUALITY, (over 150 to 225.00 edc, in a quality steel, because that is whats important to me now, is buying things i dont have to replace again and ill die owning. I also, have come around to have a deep deep lust for a Spyderco,( 3" or less cuz im a felon in Illinois) and absolutely agree that the Para 2 or Para 3 would be a welcome tool that i know ill be able to count on for life, as well as there being a wealth of aftermarket bearings, titanium scales, signet rings, and even Emerson style wave open additions for the spider hole... Thanks for your time, and i agree with you on the picks for this video. You read my mind. I sure could use that budget to start my first GOOD KNIFE purchase. Bless you and your family .. +Ace Side note, ive recently become enamored with the Axis/slide lock, such as the locking system on the Benchmade Osborne you featured, as well as the Benchmade Bugout and all its clones! Currently carrying the 2024 Xmas season Walmart "stormtrooper" slide lock, and I CAN'T STOP FIDGETING WITH ITS LOCK MECHANISM! Its Now basically whittled down to a para 3, or 2 or the Spidey Manix 2, because of the locking system. Unfortunately, to outfit the manix 2 the way id like (Ti slide lock button replacement, aluminum or Ti scales and milled clip) im looking at almost 425.00. I can get into an entry level 1911 pistol for that. Which deflated me a little bit on the manix 2, however, for the 200.00 and under pricetag, the Kunwu Pulsar or Pulsar XL, checks ALL OF THE BOXES for the full metal parts and construction, riding on bearings, and a quality steel! Theres just SOMETHING SPECIAL about Spyderco. You can tell that EACH KNIFE, is skillfully heat treated, carefully assembled, and lovingly tested and gently boxed and packaged right here in the good ol USA, and I want badly to be part of the Spyderco ownership family, as its quality edge retention properties, and tried and true construction and lock systems, as well as the solid feel of quality they posess, I feel ill never stop feeling that excitement of putting it into my pocket before I head out into the world for the day, knowing that Ill be able to count on it no matter what I throw at it, and just like sleeping with an ex, no matter how many times youve done however many different things with it, you cant help but getting that overwhelming feeling of "home" each time you revisit its curves and remember what drew you to it in the first place!❤😂😂😂😂

@LeonardbroNocaprio420 Wow!!! I could not hope for a more impressive and well stated comment from subscriber number 100!!! This commemt is being set aside for sure! If you don't mind, could I say something personal, since you mentioned it that doesn't involve knives???? Life is crazy and can be really hard at times. I have made so many mistakes in my youth that should have landed me 20 yrs somewhere I didn't want to be. I got really lucky, and I didn't deserve the luck. It's so inspiring that you say that about yourself, yet you speak so well and obviously have your life in a better place. I'm so happy for you, and honestly, it's truly inspiring! Thank you for your honesty and for your kind words about my video and the things I had to say! I'm humbled beyond words!! The only men in this world who are the sum of their mistakes or actions are those weak men who fail to rise above those mistakes or consequences. I don't need anything more than this comment to know that you are not one of those weak men! You have my utmost respect!!!! Now, let's talk knives. You are correct. It's always better to buy once and to buy right. Better steels and materials afford you that luxury. The PM3 and PM2 are excellent choices, but your situation limits those choices. Spyderco has a few really good sub 3 inch options, though. I'm gonna look into a really good knife for that price point that offers the absolute.most in quality and.fit and.finish, with a sub 3 inch blade. I will definitely be getting back to you with a few suggestions soon. All in all, thank you so much for being my 100th subscriber. They say that if you can reach 100, then you can reach 1 million. It's only a matter of time and work. We'll, maybe it's j7st me that says it, but that makes it no less true. Lol. @theun-professionaldad2232 youre very welcome! Im good up to but not over 3" cutting edge. The choile and all that is of no consequence, i only need to be concerned if the cutting edge exceeds 3" I can definitely carry a solid 3" blade all day with no hassles. Truthfully, the little town i live in, the cops know ive been home almost 6 years now and dont get in any trouble, so they probably wouldn't bust my head over an 8th of an inch, however, if im gonna get something nice that I can carry a decade or 3, i want to be sure that it cant be "confiscated" or get me hooked up on a posession of a weapon by a felon charge, because ive petitioned the state of Illinois for release of revocation of a firearm owners identification card, as Im not a creep, I never hit women, never been caught with drugs, and have never used a weapon in the commission of a crime, nor have i ever been hospitalized for mental health issues, or drug and or alcohol dependency. I got pinched coming out of a Kohls with a pair of shoes on, that i was trying on. Got a phone call saying that there was an emergency, and that i needed to come right away(family member) and without thinking about it, i just started walking out quickly without thinking. Because once upon a time, i was injured at work (steer fell on me while dropping heads on a kill floor) and got turned out on pain pills like 10 years ago, then began to shoplift to support my habit of buying off the street just so i could function. Once youre on opioids for so long, its SO HARD to stop... Anyways, id been caught at a walmart and another place before in my past, and even though the shoes were a misdemeanor amount... like 55.00, once youve been convicted of retail theft in Illinois ( even a misdemeanor under 500.00 value) its automatically enhanced to a felony! There was no way they were gonna believe me about it being a genuine mistake the last time, as i had retail shadiness in my wrap sheet already, several years prior...So, as i watched a guy who hit his girlfriend get probation, after she came to court and said to please not let him out(with a black eye) and a sex offender that failed to register, and was caught using social media, whom ALSO got probation, they got to me and sentenced me to 4 years at 50% (so long as i remained on good behavior in prison id be out in 2) I genuinely couldn't believe what I witnessed, and was so angry that a dangerous dude, and a pedophile got turned loose to reoffend, and I got sent to a medium/max security joint called Menard. Granted, i came home flat benching 315, squatting 535 for 5 sets of 10, and could do wide grip overhand pullups for sets of 20, and got my cardio up to a point that I could literally run till you said stop, and work a heavy bag over real ugly without getting winded in the first 30 seconds, which is real valuable in a place like that. Though im not a bully and i try to remain blended in and quiet, theres always gonna be a few that test you, and if you dont make an example of them immediately, its not avout who else will try it....Its about who WONT try it if its known you wont fight. Its really ridiculous, and i used to think it gave me street cred, and yeah, i got quite a few girls because the wrong kind like that shit .... Hehehehe.. But, in retrospect, its nothing to be proud of, it just means youve failed at life somehow, and that youre immature, and need to be babysat as a grown man .. Being in a cage is for the birds! There were certain yards in general division (the max joint part of the med/max, that if you went outside to yard, you had to carry a shank, because you never knew when the yard would "go up" meaning basically it was a free for all, and people just started fighting, usually as an organized plan to create a spectacle to distract staff, so theyd not notice a high value target, being stabbed, or beat with something heavy. Im thankful for air conditioning every day, because Il. Prison, has no AC. Whatever it is outside, thats how hot it is inside too! Ice was only handed out once the weather reached above 93° for more than 5 days straight, or when september 10th hit, whichever one happened first. Then it was "1 dip, no lip" one little scoop of ice, 2 times a day. The amount was so small that when you put your sink water on it, it just melted away and only got the water "sorta cold-ish" People in hell...Really DO want ice water..... Hehehehehe! But yeah, even having the ability to carry a nice folder, is a privilege. Theres almost limitless things you find that a good reliable pocket knife can help you with in day to day civilian life. I also really love Spyderco, simply because its a reputable brand, and used by a good deal of first responders as well as armed forces personnel, so a quality folder by a company like them, also shows youre more sophisticated than just carrying a giant "zombie killer 2000" gas station Knife. A lot can be said about the nature of a person, and what they posess on their person. Its a matter of INTENT, from a legal perspective. So if youre keeping it classy, carrying a sought after, well made folder, of quality steel, and youre within the 3" or less cutting edge, youre FAR LESS LIKELY, to be profiled as a shitbird, and more likely to be treated respectfully and not as a threat, so long as you remember to be polite, and understand you give respect, to GET respect, and show that you understand theyre not all bad, theyre just doing their job, and want to get home safely to the ones they love, just like we do at night.... Its all about perspective and intent.... Also, thank you for the kind words regarding my demeanor, and the use of my vocabulary in a direct, yet articulate manner. We're all friends here, thank-you foe taking the time to create quality content, and for the selflessness to be willing to do such an awesome giveaway for some lucky person to win! I havent won anything in a long time, I think my cheese would slide right offa my cracker if i found out I won an opportunity like that! However, i AM thankful for what I do have, which is a little apartment i can call my own, and the 3 family members i still have left in my life. I spend as much time with my grandparents, and my mother as I can, because I know that im going to be completely alone at some point in my future, and Ill at least know that i didnt squander the opportunities to spend time with them while I still can now, and also being thankful for the foresight to realize that myself sooner, than later, and get the most out of their presence, because ive lost so many people already, that ive learned to treat everyone I love or care about, like its the last time ill ever see them, because it may be... Dad died 3 years ago. Heart attack, he was dead before he hit the ground! Im so glad that the day before, when we all went out to eat, that afterwards, I hugged my mom, told her i loved her, and shook my dads hand and told him thank you for being such a good father to me, and that i love him as well. Thats the last thing i got to tell my pops....I learned to be that way, the hard way. Losing so many other people in my life, and wishing the last time id seen them, id have cherished it more. Said never again. Youre blessed to have a family and children of your own... Dont ever lise sight of whats important. Its not about stuff, or $... Its about getting the most from the bonds you share with the loved ones closest to you! Thanks again for the reply, and ima be cruising on your channel quite a bit now, because i like your format, and your approachable demeanor, as well as sharing the same passion for edged tools as myself! +Ace

@LeonardbroNocaprio420 I'm gonna tell you something that I wear on my sleeve, metaphorically speaking. Several years ago, I was walking my boys in the daycare, and this woman ran me over. Not as bad as it sounds, she really just hit me and pinned me between 2 vehicles. I saw it coming and threw my little boy who was in her path out of the way and took the full brunt of the hit. It messed me up pretty bad, and my back was really hurt. I was prescribed pain meds. Quickly, I got hooked. Thankfully, I had experience watching people go down certain paths, and I was aware enough to know that with my kids, I couldn't risk it. So I got help and got off the mess as soon as I could. Before that experience, I had a good friend who was one he'll of a good human being. He was lived by everyone. He got hooked on oxy's and eventually died. I had no empathy for him and was so angry at him for allowing it to happen. I'm thankful God allowed me to learn my lesson because I got a taste of the dragon on his back, and it was far more heavy and controlling than words could explain!! I know someone close, who i love dearly, who was stealing for yrs to support a habit and, again,no empathy. Boy, now I have so much empathy i fight for them! Thank you for sharing your story! You are not a criminal! You did criminal things when under the control of a demon that was powerful, but you are more than that! Bravo to you for paying your price and being the better person because of it!! You have no idea how much i appreciate you and your story! You have my respect, friend!! I'm working on some great options for you, and I'll get them to you by days end.

Having never handled the other two blades & having owned the full Titanium Sheepdog XL in S35VN & still own, I'd in good conscience recommend to my friend the Kizer SD XL, I'm sure the Full Ti version is a wee bit stronger than the carbon fiber version though I wouldn't think by much. The other two choices I'm sure have their positives two, but having owned either, I would be simply recommending something I have no idea about, & that isn't something I care to do so.
