- If you've never grilled apples before definitely check this out! Today, I'm firing up the Weber Q and grilling pork chops and apples.
Ingredients:
Pork chops (bone-in rib chops are best)
Olive oil
Rub
www.instacart....
1-2 apples (I used a Braeburn apple, but use your favorite)
2 tablespoons butter
1-2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Apply a small amount of olive oil to pork chops to help rub adhere, then apply your favorite rub to the chops covering all sides including bones.
Preheat grill for 10 minutes.
Grill pork chops over Medium heat with lid closed for 5 minutes per side or until 145º F (63º C).
Cut each apple into eighths removing cores and seeds.
Remove pork chops and scrape grates clean.
Lay apples pieces flat on the grates.
Close lid and grill for 3 minutes.
Flip apples onto other side.
Place two tablespoons of butter into a medium sized cast iron pan and place the pan onto the grill with the apples.
Close lid for 3 minutes.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar into melted butter and stir together.
Place cooked apples into pan and coat with the butter/brown sugar mixture.
Plate apples and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Place pork chops on top of apples.
Enjoy!

Hey City, don't you just love the grill marks the Q can do....who wouldn't just love this, apples and pork are perfect, I sauteed some leeks with some apple cider vinegar, with granny smith apples, everything else just like you did...Awesome dish, pretty to look at.
Yes, this one was pretty amazing. I like your addition of the leeks and vinegar.
Wife and I are going out camping soon, going to have try this for sure.

All I could say in my head when i said that title was pork chops and apple sauce, pork chops an apple sauce. Great video man! Also love hearing the sirens in the background...feels like home
These grilled apples were perfect with the chops. Sirens, jackhammers, and car alarms are the bane of my audio existence.
Great, and yummy, pork chops! Your grilling skills are awesome. I can imagine the apples pairing well with the awesome chops! Looking forward to your next grilling adventure! Cheers!

Try Tsardust Memories seasoning from Penzeys (available on Amz too). It is fantastic on pork and also on apples or pears to accompany the pork. I like Tsardust on hamburger patties as well, but pork is….mwah! Excellent!
I'll check it out! Thanks Tracy.

Perfect way to serve those great looking chops!!! How can I send you a picture of my Webber grill setup? I love doing marinated thin cut bone in pork chops.
You can post them to my Facebook page or send them on Instagram. There are links in the header of my UA-cam home page.
Hi Brian, I am in Florida for 3 months from the UK and have been trying to get hold of the Stone Mill Ultimate BBQ Rub. Can’t see a link - can you let me know where I can get it, the pork chops look delicious. John H UK
Thanks for watching, John. There is a link in the ingredients section of the description box. You can also purchase it at any ALDI grocery store. There are many in Florida. Hope the hurricane missed you. Cheers!
looks fantastic. and no...i'm, not eating under cooked pork. lol great cook
Yes this was a good one. And no I don't really want trichinosis either. Lol.
Really enjoyed the video! New subscriber :)
Thanks FOGO. Cheers man!
What size Lodge Cast Iron Skillet do you use? I know you have told in the past. What size cast iron pot do you use for the clam bake also.
Which camera you use ? Great video
Sony a5100. It has a flip up selfie-screen which is great for talking to camera. There's a link in the description box below the video.
@@GallaghersGrub Your sony a5100 doesn't get overheated ?
It overheated once. Because I forgot to stop recording. For what I do, I usually don't record more than 5 minutes at a time. Most of my clips are 3 minutes or less, talking to camera, chopping vegetables, grilling, etc. If you're going to be recording clips over 5 minutes, I would not recommend this camera. But for my needs, it's an excellent choice.
Pork chops and applesauce
One of the true staples
