Could you show how to create this spell but instead of on the player it creates it at a target location and also how to make a projectile version.

I want to make a spell area like a cross shape or a star of David shape and help restore HP when the player enters the area based on that shape, but I haven't found a way to check the Trigger Area according to that shape.

is there ways to make certain things trigger when you use certain weapons? this explosion would be really cool if it occurred when, for example, you fired your last shot in the magazine. I’ve also been curious if there’s a way to possibly make your picaxe shoot basic projectiles. if anything like this is possible, i’d love to see it done :)

This is the beginning of a soon to be dominating era of metaverse game platforms! I cant wait to finish my project and focus on an idea i had for roblox but this will do it way more justice!
I believe so much in what Epic is doing with UEFN
@@WarforgeXP the fact they didn’t embed a traditional language speaks volumes. Most metaverse platforms goto lang is Lua. Crayta failed because it tried to use two languages, Lua for game logic and CSS and Java for user interface which is not fun for ppl like me who prefer UI to be handled with the same language i use to write the game. In just not a pro in CSS so it was a huge barrier. Core uses Lua but its client server model is really confusing off the bat and seems redundant.

Hi Wahlbeck, thx for those tutorials. Could you do a tutorial on how to use the realtime clock for live events for example. Currently im working on live events in uefn so it would be cool to go over some logic how to setup a live event, so all players join the space at the same time or the realtime clock starts the event at a certain time. Then how to have one talent presenting something while the other people can't talk, but still hear the talent, then maybe switching from speaker to guest etc. Feel free to reach out to me if you need some more facts about the live event topic. Really great tutorial! What I would like to get a tutorial on, is how to make a boss fight. Iwould also like to make a boss fight like in the old Scooby Doo game from 2009 were the final boss would teleport around and attack you at the same time. If you have time then maybe you could watch a video from the game so that you understand what I am trying to say. Scooby Doo First Frights, final boss The Witch Queen.

Coudn'tfind the vfx. I tryed another vfx from UE5 by migrating but the folders ore only visible the contents like blueprint and material are not visible

Great tutorial! I think I’ve missed a step. No “use” feature, E, appears when the button is disabled at game start. Changing the button to enabled at game start makes the “use” feature show. I copied your code so as to not have mistakes in the code. It does work when activated by pressing E when the button is enabled at game start. Any idea what may be the problem?
What an Asset For Spell you used?
I try to do not eliminate as damge type and just a damage amount and it does not work. I think because it only procs damage every second. Is there a way to prop the damage instantly

Also is there a way to get keypresses,so as to create custom buttons for special attacks? Like pressing H would heal me or something.
Not yet. What I showed is mostly what we have. You CAN do a pop up modal with buttons, but that’s not good to pull up in combat
hi can you make a save device that saves everything player relatede item:health,resouces,etc so i could make a open world that saves all your progress even if you log off fortnite

Great work doing those tutorials. They're super helpful. I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to do a jailbreak game in UEFN. I used to play it a long time ago in UT 99 and it was a blast. I am currently doing CTF maps, but I thought Jailbreak maps would be awesome! Thanks
What is a jailbreak game? A puzzle game?
@@WarforgeXP In Jailbreak, like in many other game types, your objective is to frag the opposing players-but unlike other game types, fragged players go straight into safe custody in the enemy prison when they're killed. To get them out of there, one of their teammates will have to fight his way into the enemy base and trigger the jail release switch that's hidden there (Jailbreak!). It is your task to defend your prison release switch and to free your own teammates when they're in jail. If your opponents manage to get all members of your team in prison, the opposing team will score a point, and your team will die a horrible death.
Jailbreak strongly focuses on team play and forces players to take on different roles for their team as the game goes on-defending their release switch, going into offense to frag opponents, or attacking the enemy base to release your own team members from prison. You'll have to be a versatile player to survive and win a game of Jailbreak.

i dont understand the RPGPlayers index for the Duplicate and drop in the GameManager verse. This verse code dont working for me, but i think its maybe that i have creatures to eliminate (zombies)

How the heck do you import Niagra effects from the marketplace? I cannot for the life of me figure it out!
I tried adding one to a UE5 project so I could source the folder when importing into UEFN, but they're all uasset files which aren't supported. 😩

Do you know how to get damage numbers to appear like when shooting a vehicle? For some reason, you can see damage to vehicles from much further away than regular building prop health bars. When damaging enemies far away, you can't see the health bar of a regular assigned health properties like a building prop. So you don't know how much damage you're actually doing or if you're even hitting the enemy. This would be useful for projectile attacks and long distance attacks. Either getting damage numbers to appear or somehow increasing the range of the health bar for far away enemies which is probably not accessible. Do you have any ideas for that kind of functionality for seeing damage for long range enemies?

weird how you couldn't drag GameManager into that folder. I wonder if it is because that wasn't the folder object, it was already greyed which means it's the folder -title- (when the list is too long UEFN 'helps' by showing the folder title at the top, so although you can't see all the contents at once you know what folder you're in... really strange decision for Windows users, maybe a Mac thing?)

What's the point for all of this coding? Can't you just use devices like the trigger and attach it to other devices? Of course for more advanced things like making an object follow a player you do need Verse, but for everything else that's more basic, isn't it useless? Please correct me if I'm wrong. 🙂
Haha definitely not useless. This is super scalable. This code will quadruple development speed and have far less bugs. Imagine using event binding for 30 players. It would be a nightmare. Also, everything is basically in one place. Also I can completely circumvent some devices. Track my own score and data. I can search for any object at runtime with tags and even skip @editables
Eventually creators who use zero code and only build through devices will be very limited in what they can do compared to the people who write Verse
