Thanks so much for providing the textures and steps. (I bought a trail asset last year to learn how. But theirs was so bland and I kept seeing better ones.)
For trail notifies, how do I increase the smoothness of the arch?
I.e. when I add a Trail notify to an Animation Montage, it produces the texture effect using an arch of the anim. But the curve angles are not smooth. A "spin" attack looks more like a hexagon (with the effect showing angles instead of smooth curve).
So how do I increase the curve smoothness? (Im not sure if it is the FPS on the anim (30 fps) or another setting. But now of the Trail Notify settings worked to increase arch-smoothness.)

everytime i get it set up my weapon looks perfectly positioned in my modeler but when i test the game my sword is at some weird angle in my hand. Is it because im importing skeletal mesh weapons?

I don´t know why it happens but I had the same problem until I tried copying there numbers for the color that was applied to the main shape.

you should do a 2D type game Tutorials caz it's hard to make 2D in unreal and a lot of new game devs want to make a 2D game side note there are not that many full 2D unreal 5 Tutorials so you will get views
