Haha, thanks. It's short and punchy and I think a video series deserves an introduction, which reminds me, I need to make more Imjin war material. And I will.
Excellent, I remember you were interested in my Choson army! I've always loved my obscure and underrepresented armies in tabletop wargaming and I've really grown interested in the armours used by the Asian forces during this period, I'm glad to cover it too!
@@CliosPaintingBench Yup! Was wondering how your content was going but it looks like you've been busy doing your research! I'll be in Seoul next month. Would you be willing to share some places you went so I can check them out as well?
@@soysaucehobbies2703 Yeah of course man, but it does depend on whether you're interested in general Seoul stuff or stuff for wargaming, because I went with history research in mind. Generally, the metro system is great, efficient and fast, use it. Google maps doesn't work and not everyone speaks english, so google translate is your friend. Most things are easy to find. The best tourist stuff is literally top rated on trip advisor, they're all normal fun tourist stuff, I did all that. Things don't open until like 11, so breakfast is at convenience stores or get your body rhythm ready for late meal times. In terms of history- all the palaces are great and super cheap. Make sure you catch the changing of the guard ceremonies. Most museums are free - the war memorial is huge and fantastic and has armour recreations from the entire history of Korea. At the Yi Sun Shin statue there is an underground culture centre to do with the Joseon dynasty including the Imjin War, I literally went like 5 times, there's a movie theatre and everything. Overall, everything is either cheap or free and fun, great place, but that's only Seoul. Jinju, for example has a whole museum on the Imjin War... so lots of possibilities.
@@CliosPaintingBench Thanks for the info. Will be in Seoul only so wont be able to check out the museum down in Jinju. War memorial seems to be the place to go. Will check out some tourist spots too! Did you have a chance to check out local hobby stores?
@@soysaucehobbies2703 Yeah most of the museums are really good and free but my favourite was the war memorial. I tried to look for hobby stores but covid closed many of them down and some now only operate online, so I couldn't get to any.
Don't know much about the Imjin War so all the flavor is great. Looking forward to the uploads.
Haha, once I finish painting my units, that's the most time intensive thing, I'll get going on the content, but thanks for dropping by!
I think this is my favourite video ive seen of yours. Imjin War looks epic, especially the bike stunts.

Nice 👍
Gonna wait for your uploads about Joseon soldiers
Haha thank you! As a little teaser, I've been inspired by the Jinju National Museum material for the direction of my next unit.
I'm one of the ~40 or so people. So very glad that you are taking up this topic! Looking forward to more content and learning with you.
