I'm a Texas born and raised cowboy, and have always been a fan of traditional country music. Watching this video brought back a lot of great memories... Like going to the county fairs back in the 70's. Me and a couple of my High School buddies are wearing our best pair of Wranglers, polished up cowboy boots, and straw stetson cowboy hats, and on the prowl for those cute country girls... Flirting and generally having a lot of innocent, clean fun.... It was at one of those fairs back in 1979 is where I met my now wife of 44 years. She was about 5-5, had on a really pretty lacy blouse, and really filled out her Wranglers in a great way... Blonde hair, and green eyes. She smiled at me, and that's all she wrote.... I was bit hard by the love bug.... We dated while I was an active duty Marine. We got married on June 29th., 1979. Now we're both retired, with two grown daughters, and 3 grandkids.... We live on our horse ranch near Burnet, Tx., and life is good....
My daughter, Kim, and I went to Disney World and rode all the rides. She was a miracle of joy and love. She died at the age of 20 from cystic fibrosis. Her love is still a miracle.

I used to listen to You while having the time of my life driving around England & Wales (over 200,000 miles over 3&1/2 years in the late 80's! What a blast I had & you and old country were there all the way...Now retired & living in Lisbon Portugal on the Tagus river....Well God bless & if Your ever in Portugal look me up. Blayne

The state fair in Beaumont on the old fair grounds. I remember when it was there. I grew up in the same area as Clay Walker, Mark Chestnutt and Tracy Byrd. Also Janis Joplin was born close by and George Jones as well 👍
I believe it captures time.

Settle negative down, and respect, looking up, to the sunshine, with your eyelids close, and test praying positive, and get better than past results, like today. See, we all need each other, God, claims, sign up, and make a difference, we can feel inside. (:

Something must’ve been in that Beaumont, TX water in the 1990s.
I always loved this song and video. I saw Mark on I think it was Nashville Now in the mid 90's saying how much he hated this video. He thought he looked silly. I never did, I loved it.

Out on the highway a lot of pretty girls go by
But none have been right
Up until today I would never settle down
But you keep coming around
And your love is a miracle
It's spiritual
Got here just in time
Your love is a miracle
It's visible
Even to a heart that's blind like mine
Out in the wild life, a lot of people telling lies
Lookin' right in your eyes'
And up until tonight, I was always on the prowl
(But) now I'm settlin' down
Repeat Chorus
Anyone can see what you're doing to me
And everyone can see that you're everything I see
'Cause your love is a miracle
It's spiritual
Stands the test of time
Your love is a miracle
It's visible
Even to a heart that's blind like mine
Its a Country Ballad Love song!!
So true.
