He probably used the original piece and found the correct blade height then slowly adjust fence angle until it matched. Thats how i would have done it.
Hi...the angle was determined by the size of cove I needed to cut. By adjusting the angle you can adjust the size of cove you cut. Thanks for watching, Wes
Hi...I don't think there is a standard, the angle of the fence has more to do with the size of the cove you need to cut. The sharper the angle, the smaller the cove and vise versa Thanks for watching, Wes
For this operation are existing SPECIAL BLADES, that can withstand the extreme side/shear force. A regular blade can break and kill. Such process is recommended only for very experienced woodworking experts.
