Guess the bulk of the money spent on this was paying for everyones travel and hotels. Now trying to get people to pay 40 bucks to watch it. Then your going to put out a video and then break that video up into smaller clips to increase views. Wow any other tricks you got to make this more of a money grab? I knew PDB was a business man but starting to seem like a con man. Never trust an insurance sales man.

@OBJECTIVE SAINT I personally think he's a meathead. Every interview with a mafia guy.."So, were there lots of women and lots of parties?...There wasn't? Why not???" while staring at the informant with bugged out eyes and tongue dangling from his mouth. If PBD had it his way he would spend every waking moment with just a towel wrapped around his waist gawking at nude pics of women and his growing bank account numbers.

Probably because he thinks since he got betrayed it was fair game and he didn't broke the code. Seeing these interactions makes it difficult to believe Sammy’s stories about how fair, calm, and thoughtful he was before everything came crashing down in the 90’s. He’s strangely obsessed with making sure Michael doesn’t look like he’s a “better” mobster. Bizarre.
Edit: I’m not sure what he’s looking for w/ Michael, but one thing that should be mentioned more often is literally no one in the US can publicly discuss NINETEEN murders on a podcast. Murder doesn’t have statute of limitations, but Sammy seems to think he should admit to killing someone on a podcast.
I agree. I mean, I'm Team Sammy. I believe he's smarter when he's has time to calculate. This is why Sammy didn't go out, party, and he's low key. Man, I just lost a lot of respect for Sammy. I mean I understand why he ratted on Gotti after being thrown under the bus. Why be Gotti's punk in prison for the rest of your life while he's out living large? But he put LOTS of people in jail. He confessed to everything. That's why he can talk so openly on his channel, he literally has immunity from prosecution for 19 murders. I'm happy he did and I love the stories, (history), he can talk about that otherwise would have never have been known, and I believe he tells it from an honest point of view.
But it's obvious here he's seething with jealousy because Michael never put anyone in prison. Michael admits he broke Omerta, but Sammy wants to drag him down to his level of rat. I thought Sammy had found peace with the past and how sh*t played out, and the part he played in it. It's now obvious he feels ashamed of all the non-Gotti "friends" that he betrayed.

This is a class thing. I think Sammy resents Michael's privilege. If you look at the episode in totality you can see Sammy repetitively mentioning Michael getting a cut in line to be made. On the date of this writing, Sammy had a live stream where he talked about this episode and deep dive into Michael's private schools and his upbringing, his college education, etc. Socializing with more "waspy" people as opposed to Sammy going to public school where he socialized with children of different races. This “Sit Down” is a perfect demonstration on what went wrong with Cosa Nostra in NYC….
Traditionally and up until the 1980’s a guy like Sammy Gravano would have NEVER rose to anything higher than a Soldier (where he was under Paul&Neil) in one of the 5 NY Families.
A guy like him or Gotti, Casso, Amuso, etc had no business at the top, running things.
It’s laughable to think that this display of IQ, temperament, and ego on Sammys behalf was at one point the UnderBoss of the Gambino Family is a joke!

Sammy has such a narcissist and has guilty conscience that he has to keep pointing his finger at Michael even though Michael has always said he broke "omerta" and cooperated. The difference between the two is Sammy ratted out his boss. Testified against his partner and boss putting him away for life. I wonder if Sammy realizes how pathetic he looks pointing his finger at Michael.
Micheal has subtly used his platform to create a cushion and romanticise the fact that he was a collaborator. In this session Sammy just isn't letting him pull the wool over anyone's eyes.."I broke my oath" and "I snitched" have a different ring to them.
That image out his father that he keeps trying to push about there as the most "stand-up" guy to ever walk the face of this earth because he never broke, despite the toll it took on his immediate family...just kind of shows Micheal is in a world of his own too where he's created his own reality about his father and he's sticking to it... knowing that your dad valued something artificial more than his own family to the extent that he did, and idolizing him for it?..Stockholm syndrome??

It seems Michael has been wanting to be cordial with the guy for a long time, but you just can't be cordial with some people. Michael should probably just cut ties with Sammy and let Sammy just be Sammy. Some people will never change.
This is what the viewers want. Off camera theyre friends just like boxers talk smack at eachother during the weighing and then all from the sudden are friends. Sensation sells

Sammy needed a man like Gotti to tame him. I always think of Gotti as Bowser in Super Mario Bros.
I have to agree with what others have said, that this interview makes me view Sammy's book and stories in a whole other light. There is no way he was the calm level headed voice of reason he portrays himself to be 95% of the time. I actually believe Gotti more now in those tapes when he says Sammy wants to kill this guy, kill that guy. I definitely can see this Sammy getting pissed and wanting to whack somebody, like Michael during this conversation🤣
Yeah I was just thinking the same thing, but either way his stories are entertaining as hell
wrong with you? He snitched on people outside the people he was upset with.
I've watched other videos in which people like Bobby Luisi and Mikey Scars believe Michael cooperated, but it all depends on their personal definition of the word cooperation. Sammy defines cooperation as simply speaking to the government and Michael defines it as speaking to the government but putting no one in prison because of it.

How the hell is michael not bringing up the the fact that sammy broke his oath by killing Paul , to bring John into power . For what ?..
Im watching the free video and it really doesn't seem like it's worth paying for just to see two men talking over each other and Sammy keeps interrupting.

Sammy is 76. Thinks he is still the Bull.. But he is a shadow of his former self. A shell of a man he used to be. Rotted in prison 1/4 of his life. He thinks he is still the under boss.
Difference between Michael and Sammy. Michael left the life and doesn't have any inclinations to go back. Sammy got screwed over by John and ratted to save his life. Sammy still wants to be in the life. But everyone knows he sets foot in NY his ass is dead.
Will sammy still be killed now if he comes to new york, all his era mob guys are dead or in jail
@@mohaimenulislam8782 Sure... Sammy is a trophy 🏆. The crazy kid that killed Johnny Cali is a prime example. Sammy can't and won't walk the streets with a cane or a walker anymore. I think it's important to just take people as they are. Michael is who he is. Sammy is who he is. Rather than try to squeeze them into a box of what people think a mafia guy is supposed to be. They each have their reasons for doing what they did. And it's legitimate for both of them. Doesn't matter who is or isn't a rat. Both of them had logical reasons for cooperating and taking care of their own families. So people not in the life trying to hold them to some arbitrary made up standard is stupid.
I dont know much about the maffia, but Michael does seem more like the boss type. He's calm and composed on the camera, Sammy is an open book.
Michael ain't afraid to admit he cooperated but Sammy sitting there in denial not once did Sammy mention he ratted and put a lot of ppl behind bars but Sammy is attacking Michael for being truthful

@@craigcrawford6749 yah he might of admitted it in his pod cast not while he was sitting with Michael he tried to find every fault Michael did and Sammy thought at the moment he was still under boss Sammy jailed Jon gotti for life who knows how many others
Here we go!!!
Why is Sammy hung up on the subject of ratting? Sammy opted to full out rat when he got pinched, where as Michael feigned cooperation in the beginning of his criminal case as a legal maneuver to get out of a harsher sentence, which ended up working. These two are great, but they need to change the subject.

Franzese is so noble and such a gentleman while Sammy is a true street guy, proletariat, no disrespect, just an observation of their mentality based on the way they spoke and behaved.
Exactly. Franzese comes off as this big shot mobster but in reality he wasn't all that tough, never put in any real "work, and rode his father's coattails up the ranks in his family. The guy came from a life of wealth considering his father's lifestyle. Sammy come from the streets. Sammy was a guy who actually did gangster stuff. Killings, robberies, etc. He ended up ratting in the end (both of them did, Franzese can deny it all he wants but paperwork and video is out on him ratting too) but he's the gangster that Franzese likes ppl to believe he is except for the snitching part
Id like to see Sammy's reaction to being called "proletariat"

No, it's not noble to constantly try to speak over the top of someone stating facts that dispute what you say..
Michael was a racketeer, Sammy was a Gangster
@@richierich2229 you're right we will never know for sure exactly what he did just like with anything else in life. But you can come to a logical answer when you use the evidence that you have. Franzese as far as I know has never been implicated in any murders by the police or the feds. When they build cases against guys like him and other mob families their very thorough as far as wire taps, surveillance, informants etc. (Especially the feds) but Franzese's name never comes up in any mob style killings. He'd also never been implicated by any of his fellow mobsters as a killer or a tough guy in general. There is several mobsters I've seen have said quite the opposite. When it comes to criminals and their cases they usually follow the same pattern. Most mobsters who were enforcers and violent have violent offenses on their records. Also crimes they weren't convicted or even arrested for bc of lack of evidence still are associated with them. Franzese has none as far as I'm aware. To believe the guy has killed someone just bc he was in the mob is bullshit. Not all mobsters are vicious killers just like not all are big earners. Some specialize in murder and violence while others are better at making money. Franzese coming from his family likely didn't have to earn his stripes the same way another young mobster would bc of his dad. Add on that he was very good at earning money and being fast tracked to captain bc of his father then the guy was in position to have other ppl commit any violent act he needed. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he isn't a real mobster just bc I don't believe he's a killer. As I said not all mobsters are drenched in blood. My only problem is the way he talks and tells his story he makes himself seem like a tougher guy than he really was when he was just really good at making money for his family. Add on to the fact that he denies ever snitching on anybody when there is video evidence of him in court testifying then him also being a liar means he'd probably lie about any real work he might've put it. But like you said we'll never really know for sure but from the evidence we do have it's more likely that he hasn't than he did. If your only argument is he was in the mob so he must've killed ppl then that's not much of an argument.
Sammy just trying make himself feel good for what he did
You all can pick sides if you want, but this content is golden. This is like watching a Colombo Caporegime/Gambino Underboss sit down..

We're seeing two very different mafia types. One, Sammy, is a self-admitted street thug. He was the guy doing the dirty work. His education was on the streets. Michael on the other hand was educated in good schools. He became the racketeer making business deals. Crooked but lucrative deals. Back in the day, could Michael run with Sammy and his crew? No way. But I'm left with the impression the same would be true about Sammy and working in Michael's world.
..
Sammy knows he betrayed everyone including the people loyal to him and his guilt eats at him, that’s why he hates the fact Michael put nobody away
exactly. If you notice, sammy never says a single name that Michael sent to prison because there are no names. Had there even been a single person, Sammy would be mentioning it every chance he got. He is a sleeze ball that wants to minimize what he did
