@ $40 to watch it I'll pass. Not worth it. So many mafia documentaries I know the just and ins and outs. Would be nice if it was cheaper. $10 100,000 people you make a cool million
The primary difference between these two men is this: Michael epitomizes intellectual manipulation, Sammy epitomizes physical intimidation. Both men are masters of their craft. This is a true Historical Document!
And both men need each other. Michael made the money and Sammy did the dirty work to protect him. I just wish in situations like this both men could acknowledge that what the other did was necessary for their own success.
The audacity of Sammy calling anyone a rat is mind boggling. 30 made men, mostly bosses went to prison for life thanks to Sammys big mouth. He literally sank the entire Mafia ship and here he is calling Michael a rat. That is hypocrisy on a whole other level.
Josh, those words on tape simply don't exist. Show us a tape and timestamp where john says, I want Sammy killed or, I want a hit put out on sammy or, im going to set Sammy up to take the fall for the prior hits I spoke about when my office was bugged. It doesn't exist. Nor do official gov documents proclaiming that. You're merely taking sammys word for it, that john said those things. His excuse for them not existing? They were redacted. That's a lie. Sammy also went in on a profer with his lawyer before formal charges were filed against john..and the 37 others Sammy assisted in getting federal convictions on.. All thanks to his cooperation as a star witness. You're taking the word of him. That's not based in facts. Again, show us anything that says that other then just coming from Sammy..il wait and hold my breath.. And eventually die before you ever show that because it don't exist. Only in sammys mind and you're taking his word on it. Its that simple. Say what you want, you're entitled to your opinions like anyone else. But don't misconstrue them as facts or.anything remotely based on factual evidence. It really is that simple.
I like sammy, im subscribed to him like I am to Michael. I won't just take the word of someone that something was said or happened over facts. Sorry. Sammy brought the entire family down based off of something he said happened that, doesn't even exist on tape or anywhere on official gov documents, other then his word. You also have to remember, he didn't just bring john down.. That's merely 1 man out of 38 convictions Sammy assisted on as a star witness for the gov. Those are facts. They can not be disputed. You may have your opinions but you may not dispute facts...unless you want to Sound like someone who has absolutely no idea about what they're saying or are such a huge fan of Sammy, they grift for him for free. Again, its that simple. Its not meant to be offensive. Just facts.
Sammy actually has a legit mob legacy he left behind .....Sammy is the last remaining true mafioso ....as where Michael was a college kid who happened to have a step dad that was an underboss in a family . Michael owes his status in the mafia to his father 100percent ....he never earned his bones .
Respectfully I don’t know anyone who can say he never earned his bones! He made a lot of money for family he represented and that he was a part of, some do it through blood, some do it through business but definitely he earned his bones! Just because he didn’t break bones doesn’t mean he didn’t break bread with the correct people in the family and earn a lot of bread in the process! Was he a clean cut college kid, yes Sir….was Sammy a street raised hard worker….absolutely! But they were both important to their families! Just as a CEO is important to a business, so is the mid level manager that works under him/her! Great conversation…..
They are just 2 differing aspects of the same organisation, both get results. This just displays the differrent ways of obtaining that result. Michael is business whilst Sammy is fear/power. "two sides of the same coin"
Michael is next level when it comes to how he speaks. He reveals so much without actually revealing a single thing. Sammy is fishing hard but Michael ain’t biting
What made George Washington so amazing on the field of battle was his ability to control his emotions. Michael is an example of his ability to control his emotions thick or thin he doesn’t break.
Do you think Sammy is digging for the Feds? I love a good conspiracy theory and Michael does say that to this day they are asking where the money is buried.
Truly believe he would have slugged michael straight through the eye socket if he had a piece on him there. Guy has an explosive temper and he demands submission when he speaks, that guy doesnt back down.
Sammy is regressing, hate to say it.. have a look at former professional wrestler Verne Gagne, he killed another person in a retirement home with a wrestling hold. This happens a lot wether it's frustration with age or dementia I couldn't tell you
@@perkosherrigh7243 there’s a difference not saying what you did and that’s what makes Michael smarter than Sammy. Remember Sammy snitched to get a shorter sentence Michael never snitched or said what he did

Can’t keep pressing on Michael when Sammy actually testified to put multiple people in prison. Michael was subpoenaed, he could’ve lied but that’s perjury. Like he said though why convict yourself when Walters did em wrong? Plus Walters was never sentenced due to micheals testimony. But Sammies testimony actually put people behind bars. I remember once, my mom, I, and my brother, ate at this Italian restaurant when we were just kids, I was 10, my brother was 5, and I saw a middle aged man with a feather in his hat, like those 1920's hats. This was like in the early 90's, I thought Italian gangsters were cool and I idolized them back then. I walked up to the gentlemen and said.... Are you in the mafia? Because I think you guys are awesome. He looked Italian, and talked Italian. Nicest man I ever met, He said to me, and leaned over and whisperd in my ear.... Shhh, just between you, and I, yes, I am in the mafia, then said, dont be asking that sort of question to random strangers in the future, specifically if you get gut feelings, it could get you in a lot of trouble kid, while he was chewing up his spaghetti, and meatballs. He took a sip of his wine took out his wallet and handed me a 50.00 dollar bill, he said.... Here, im payin for your family's meal. He left before we did and walked up to our table before exiting and told my mom, you're son has an awesome imagination, glad to see he has culture. Then said.... make sure you give your momma the 50.00 I gave you for your meal. I already did anyways, my mom looked at him with that awkwardness stare. Like, did my son really just talk to an italian gangster? Lol. She said..... thank you kindly for the money. I thought she was going to try and give the money back, glad she didn't, because as a kid I thought Italians would get offended when you don't except their kind offer, especially when they try and help you out, but I think my mom knew that. The man said.... You have nice looking young men, then told us to behave and be good to our mom, he then left the restaurant. I still remember that evening.
Michael has to be very careful what he says. He made no deals with the government or federal prosecutors. He never testified against anyone and left the mafia without hurting anyone. I think that rubs Sammy the wrong way. Sammy got out by betraying those around him. I suspect Michael may be hiding something but he is very very wise not to say anything. No deals with prosecutors or the government. Any admission could spell trouble for him. I love Michael and respect Michael far more then I do Sammy
Theres is no more Mafia in America, Although there is, they cant do as much as they can like before, The only ones who are free to kill who ever they want and get illegal money is the cartel in mexico, which they are 100% or even 1000% worst than the old guys, they are used to fighting the Army, not cops the amount of body they cut is beyond any human sense, you can actually look it up just search the graphic image of the Z cartel or any other one of those guys who are still here, its insane.
well see if sammy didnt get out john gotti would have walked see john was setting sammy up john gotti himself was the reason why sammy had to flip he left no room at all
@@terrymcginnis4633 that whole story is bullshit. John Gotti was going to prison and was never going to be a free man. Sammy said in his book that he ratted because he thought about killing himself in prison and thought the jury might see him as a monster. He didn’t want to risk going to trial.
I honestly feel like Sammy is jealous of Michael. First of all, Michael, unlike Sammy, didn't join the witness protection program. Hence, some things, if he admits them, can still get him interrogated and punished. Secondly, the fact Sammy wears his murders as a badge of honour shows he's a pretty low individual. And finally... Sammy using the excuse of "We bomb countries" to justify his actions shows he's a messed up individual. Any rapist and maniac can use it. Michael always carried himself with a lot of class... and managed to get out that life. That drives Sammy mad because he could never do that.
There is no reason for him to be jelous, he stood by his choice to cooaperate. Sammy did everything under the sun three Mafia wars, involved in 19 murders, was in commission meetings, he elevated to the Underboss position. Micheal couldn't excel even if he wanted to, Sammy had the power and Micheal didn't even with all the money he had. Just look the FBI tapes and transcript, Sammy was no jk. Micheal did talk to the goverment but he never took the stand but talking is "ratting"
Michael is clearly more intelligent and he made a lot more money. Still is making more to this day. Sammy’s ego doesn’t like being in second place. Sammy ratting put a lot of people away not just Gotti. So constantly bringing up Michael cooperating is ludicrous.
Been saying this flat out last few vids on these two… Sammy is jealous micheal can hold his head way higher than him… micheal is more cosa nostra than him and doesn’t wanna be… Sammy isn’t and he still dreams to be and it kills him…. Micheal will always be in better standing than him…. Just facts!! Sammy did more damage with the killing of paul and what he and gotti did to the mafia and basically ended the rein it had!! That’s on him and that’s his legacy!!! He failed the whole life but wants to act like he loves it so much etc etc
Michael has never harmed anyone its obvious the FEDS would've got it out of him... You think if this guy had blood on his hands and the feds didn't know anything about it lol
Sammy is the only guy that could kill half his crew and friends, a 17 year old innocent kid, kill his Boss, then rat out the next Boss and 40+ other guys then throw around words like "betrayal" and "respect". The last guy that should talk about those things with a straight face. Secondly, Sammy's tough guy act is laughable. He was only tough when he was pretending to be your friend then having you shot in the back of the head, the second he actually had to prove he was tough and accept his punishment like a man he tucked it between his legs and ratted out absolutely every single person he could even the Juror he bribed. Michael was FAR more successful in that life. Michael used that life whereas that life used Sammy and you can tell how weak and inferior Sammy feels sitting with him when he tries to act like he'll beat him up and all that garbage. Michael isn't someone you're walking in to a room so give it up.
Brandon you make absolutely too much sense, and a lot of people will agree with you but a lot of them will also not hit the thumbs up button simply because we are in the era of delusion and also because you are on point.
Sammy and Michael are just different men. They both betrayed omerta period..... Sammy was a racketeer/hitman/underboss in the grimey part of cosa nostra killing and hands-on . Michael was intellectual and was part of the greatest scheme since prohibition.. Michael says he found god and changed his life. Sammy still has pain from his past. I love both of their podcasts.
So when you agree to the life you agree if you take advantage of, stray away from or go against the mafia.. you will be killed. It's your agreement when they burn the saint in your hand. Sammy was doing his job. That's why Michael never says shit about his killings be "illegitimate" cause he knows they are "legit" for the life. Sammy loved and respected the life so much he had to take those people down because he and the rest of the mafia agreed to it. Sammy isnt a rat either. He would have been killed in prison if he were.. He ratted on a guy who was going to set him up to take the fall and he said "fuck you" this is on all of us. Gotti sat there and was being the little prick he was by thinking he could lay blame on others and not expect blow back. Sammy cooperated not because he wanted to but because he was betrayed and knew the life had changed. If Gotti was like Sonney, Sammy would still in jail on a life sentence.
Sammy made Michaels point, they did extensive research before they “Made” someone. They didn’t just make someone a Made guy for no reason. Sammy just keeps on bringing up the same thing.
@@VALUETAINMENT I am going to buy this. But for the people who are not, is this coming on youtube? Just wondering.. hope you answer thx for this content great all the way around..
Michael is doing the smart thing here. If he so much as hints that he committed a murder for which he has not yet been charged, the FBI will harass him and his family for the rest of his life. I don't understand why Sammy doesn't seem to get that.
There are things that they BOTH know that we don't know. Sammy was a boss... He has insight into when Micheal was made... He KNOWS what Micheal did or didn't do.. If Micheal had ever hit anyone it would have been known by the the bosses. If Sammy says that MANY other made members questioned Michael's qualifications then that's something that we have to consider. I do agree that Micheal is doing what he has to here to avoid legal trouble but again Sammy isn't bringing this up because it's a hunch, he's bringing it up because it was a big deal amongst the families that Micheal got made before other guys that had been waiting... It's real easy for Micheal to say that he has no immunity but that is also a convenient way to dodge the question that he could answer off camera so nobody gets embarrassed on camera or admits to crime on camera .
Remember when Michael talked about those "Don't you know who I am?" kind of guys? Sammy is one of those guys. I like listening to Sammy's stories, I really do. It is so apparent that he feels he needs to expose Michael or try to make people see him as a fake, as if he just can't accept that Michael has truly turned away and made a better life for himself. Seems almost resentful.
My respect to Michael.. you can really tell the difference between a man of God and a godless man in this interview.. things like being slow to speak are taught to us and Michael is a great example of it being put in practice ❤
@@bahatch94Christ dosen't laugh at anyone you fool and Micheal is a born again Christian so what's your point? Jesus came to save sinners that includes you and me buddy. Jesus can redeem anyone and he's redeemed Micheal so what you trying to say?
There’s a stark difference here between two mafia guys. One who resolved his actions and his past and moved beyond it, while still accepting it. And a guy who has not done that at all.
I like Sammy and am grateful for his stories. I can't help, however, to take what he says with a grain of salt. It's hard to not notice that he's the hero in every story he tells. He's always painted as being totally honorable in the face of deceit and betrayal. In every story, he's painted as the omnipotent purveyor of morality and honesty in a sea of animals. And we all do that--make ourselves a good guy in every story from our lives. But considering his life, how can that actually be?
@@James-ov5kg Never said he was lying. It might just be the stories he chooses to tell. None of the ones he chooses make him look bad. My age and criminal past is completely irrelevant.
One is struck by how immature some of these gangsters are. Trying to prove how tough they are, like a bunch of highschoolers. Michael’s sort of an exception, classy guy

The caliber of his presentation and the level of respect for his guest is something I don't think we've ever seen before. Michael Franese is the money making machine racking 5-10million dollars per week while Sammy is the Hitman that is active in the street. In Hycinth, the families actually needs both personalities in other to operate successfully. Great interview with PBD
That’s cus prison will keep you young all you do is eat and work out look at guys that have done 20,30,40, years in prison they all look way younger than what they are
Sammy goes hard. Michael always a class act. We see the difference in approach and demeanor and how things don’t get past either one of these guys. I thought this interview would end differently. Very interesting
Sammy is an out and out street guy. He had to be this way to get any respect, it’s a tough life. To be as feared as he was in their life you had to do extreme acts of violence. But he was also a business man as well, this man owned all construction in Newyork and numerous other legit businesses plus illegal ones too. He was a huge earner and killer and that’s two traits you want in their life. Michael is intelligent and charismatic and the truth is he got made only because of his father. He didn’t earn respect on the street like sammy but he was a business guy and earned respect that way, he was a top earner so in other words he was untouchable. It’s two separate worlds but in the same mafia universe.
I've had a temper issue at work in my old age and I use Michael as a role model on how to keep my composure. Knowing you can eat people, and people knowing you can eat them, is a powerful feeling. BUT ONLY, if you can control it. Weakness shows when you're easily rattled. Power shows when you control it and others know you can control it.
Hands down the best Mafia content I've seen in a very long time, reminiscent of the Goodfellas, Casino, The Irishman...hope there is no bad blood as clearly this is not a movie and the history runs deep, but man do I want to watch the entire series. Well put together Patrick!
No one ever answered your question, but after this both said they became friendly (idk if its good friends or what, but "friendly" is what they say), so yeah, no bad blood.
I am a hairdresser of 30 years. When I got out of school I worked with a little old Italian lady who said, "Most things are best left unsaid." It has taken all these years to understand her wisdom. Not just the big things, but every day bumps and slights. I have found that it is best to hear, talk things over with a 'closed mouth' person, and keep my focus.
Michael is the real boss he doesn’t say shit about anybody or anything. The real gangster doesn’t brag about their committed crimes 🤫 the real gangster is blind, deaf and mute 🤐 This is the why Carlo Gambino never went to jail
Gotta take each of these two men with a jaundiced eye and a grain of salt. It's their story, their history whether flawed or not. Family in the literal sense has different meanings for each man. Interesting stuff here. Thank you Patrick💙
its crazy to think both these guys were successful in that life, Sammy seems more like a soldier with a chip on his shoulder, Michael is a cold calculated guy, and both definitely garner respect, but being cool and collected is scarier tbh, Michael not letting Sammy get under his skin was insane to watch
Michael if you read this…. It’s a fact that you were a top earning boss in the Mafia. And as a fan of both you and Sammy I would suggest you continue to keep your cool as it is one of your best characteristics in social media. It’s too bad Sammy keeps losing his cool during your interactions. I will continue to watch every episode from both of you. But I truly believe the majority of people who watch both the channels do not feel you have to kill to be a gangster. It’s not a badge of honor. To be in that life and not have to kill is a sign of true power. To have others do that despicable act is a sign of true power as shown throughout history. Doesn’t matter if you did or didn’t. Bottom line is you have nothing to prove to anyone but yourself.
Absolutely am that seems to be Sammy's biggest thing against Michael is that he can't say or won't say that he killed anyone. To be honest I believe AtleAst back then I'm sure Michael had to be a part of some such act. To be inducted also. Sammy also hates the fact that ppl don't consider Michael a rat an they do consider him a rat that is his main thing to me
Michael always gives me the impression that he could have been good at many things in life and he just ended up in the mafia becuase of his upbringing whilst Sammy could only have been a mobster
Sammy will probably never admit it, but he hates the fact that he became one of the things he most hated in his earlier life. And he hates the fact that it will now be part of his legacy. That's why I believe it makes him feel better when calling Michael out, and calling him a rat.
@G223 well said. Completely different ends of the spectrum. When Patrick tells Sammy to say what he really feels he exploded on Michael. Michael just stays calm and holds his ground.
Sammy came up in the ranks as a foot soldier then a notorious hitman to finally being on of the most infamous capos in mob history. He had to show his muscle every step of the way through extortion, or violence “Doing the dirty work” to earn his stripes. Micheal had a direct connection to “the life” through his bloodline, his father was practically La Costa Nostra royalty, but that wasn’t what punched his ticket in. His mental prowess and money making schemes are what turned him into a made man, in due time he would prove to be every bit of that by pulling off on the biggest racketeering schemes in mafia history and getting away with it! Needless to say they are two sides of the same coin. Two lifestyles of the same life, in the mob you were either a killer, an earner or both. When you look at their history, you’ll see that very same duality. Violence, intimidation, power and ambition is what created the empire we romanticize as “The Mafia”. These individuals are proof of that.
Michael answered the “making his bones “ question expertly. His facial expression belied him though. Saying he killed somebody would bring an indictment upon him. Plus, even if he did admit it, Sammy wouldn’t believe it or would question it further. Michael is far to smart for that
The guy spends 4 minutes explaining how he cooperated with the government and sammy interrupts over and over "accusing" him of cooperating with the government with temper and disrespect. Michael's whole thing is "YES I COOPERATED, I AM A RAT. THANKFULLY I TRIED MY BEST TO MAKE SURE NO ONE DID A DAY IN JAIL AND NO ONE DID" ...Sammy's whole thing is "YOU COOPERATED WITH THE GOVERMENT, GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE"...what really bothers Sammy is the fact that he can't say no one did jail time because of his own cooperation.
About a year ago I thought about how explosive (yet unlikely), a sit down would be between these two. Knowing full well their backgrounds and rank within their respective families as well as watching their own separate UA-cam channels, it was the ultimate wish to have them together for a sit down.
Franzese was nothing more than a bastard half ass movie producer. He was no Gangster. Now, Sonny Franzese was a Gangster. Sonny isnt Michael’s real father anyways. “All bastards are liars. Shakespeare wrote poems about it” - Joey Zasso
@@shaneb8254 I don`t agree. Being a gangster is NOT a good thing for a start. Franzese has made a new life for himself, and has never testified against anybody. Nobody was hurt because of Franzese. I think Sammy is bitter that the only way he could get out was to snitch his way out, Michael created a plan, got a deal he thought was acceptable and probably kept a few quid into the deal. He has came through the other side with some money, His self respect and a bloody good story to tell ❤️
Sammy is so bitter that he had to be a straight snitch to get out of the life and Michael used his intellect to definitely create a plan that allowed him to ride the line but not go 100 miles past it like sammy did.. and he can’t stand it so instead of talking facts and logic he goes right to anger and threats.. such a common and played out strategy lmao.. so i agree with you 100%
Holy crap! Sammy is clearly jealous of how Michaels life has turned out and how successful he is. I totally have so much more respect for how Michael handled himself then ever before.
It's also laughable how he frames everybody's cooperation as being a rat, while his cooperation was completely justified.. rather than saying he broke omerta, he's saying that omerta disintegrated because he got betrayed by a guy. I'm not about that life, but a rat's a rat
seems like Sammy is mad because Michael talks over him and doesn't let him say a word, I doubt he's jealous of Michael more like he dislikes him a lot because he does come across as fake, and his style of communication (Screaming over sammy) is also very annoying and disrespectful.

Michael speaks intelligently and tactfully. You can tell why he went so far and was successful. For Sammy to say he produced the same money as an enforcer is just ludicrous.
Sammy did a lot more than just enforce. Had his hands in everything and was making so much money Gotti started getting jealous & paranoid. Sammy might not have made MF money but he made a ton too especially with his contracting companies, cement companies etc with the union/mob ties he was pretty much running that whole game in the city.
Sammy had his hands in everything. Construction, concrete. Flooring , resturants, trash pick up , betting ,weed, dope. Sammy made millions 100s of millions a yr for the mafia
The cream of the crop has definitely risen with the old mob guys that did their time and have found themselves as spokesmen for La Cosa Nostra history, especially on UA-cam. Michael is the definition of a mob earner, and Sammy is a straight up gangster, that was actually an earner and a tough guy. I’ve been waiting for this for a minute and it doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint
You either live in the past, present or future. People that live in the past usually have some blocking their psyche from pushing past the past. Usually trauma of some sort
He can't stop living in the past because he had it all back then he could do whatever he wanted pretty much had $$$ he was the underboss probably should have been the Boss but... An now all he can do is talk about the Mafia I'm sure he's not happy about this. Feel kinda bad for him in a sense. But he's making a living now.
I really want to congratulate Pat on bringing two legends of mafia history back together in this day and age. I don’t think anyone could have done it as well. Bravo.
@26:01 I really admire Pats professionalism and his ability to take notes and let these guys talk through their issues without getting emotionally invested or involved to a degree.
@@jameslast7559 I bought the series and Michael keeps baiting Sammy into hypotheticals if Michael didn't "earn it what would that mean" lmfaoooooooo I'm howling
The differences between these two are very interesting. Michael is the Boss who is the intellect. Very calculated, very careful with the words he uses. The one who got where he is by outsmarting you and is going to win by outsmarting you. The one who quietly handles his threats. Sammy on the other hand is the Boss who is a boss due to Fear and Intimidation. He fights his battles with those tools instantly commanding respect through fear on the streets. Althoughy He relies more on force he still has a mind. But it is limited and sometimes clouded by his temper and anger causing him to often make brash decisions. Two very different bosses yet two Very dangerous bosses when in their element.
Mr. Franzese is a total class act, a true gentleman, and a legend. Sammy is a grouch and can never hope to achieve the legendary status that Mr. Franzese has reached.
I mean, I can guarantee you allot more ppl have heard of "Sammy the bull" than ANY Franzese... Michael never did a damn thing lol rode his daddy's coat tail, had a minor gas theft scam & that's it... Sammy was a hitman.. completely different people
Michael was the one yelling and carrying on and Sammy remained calm af. Michael also talks about looking after people in your crew but Sammi had to do alot and get his hands bloody and dirty for his crew which ended up betraying Sammi. Nuff said
Ay yo, haters are gonna hate. And they gonna keep on hating. No disrespect to Sammy, but the only one to carry on the "coolness," in this particular case, was, and is, Mr. Franzese. You can break down all you want. But Michael's demeanor here in this here convo, throughout, speaks for itself. Not once did he try to exert himself over the other. And if you saw different, then, I would think, that says more about YOU then it does him. It is what it is. At the end of the day, this was and is an awesome sit-down, fa sho. 🤘
“My father said not to talk about the crimes we did.” I love how Michael said he did crimes (murders) without even saying he did with a simple “YES I DID” like John Alite.
If Michael has done it , there's no "honor" for him to proclaim he did, rather it gets the indictment falling on him. For Sammy it's different he already admitted the murders he did to get released from the prison !!! The Judiciary apparently privileges some and prejudices some others. So Sammy be trying to jab Michael's pride to get Michael admit something to get him indicted and then go out saying :" we played chess and I checkmated him" "Never try to prove yourselves to the pigs 🐖🐖🐖🐖 and in this case rats 🐁🐀🐁🐀 like Gravano"
No no no. Michael was known on the streets as not having to put “work” in. He was the golden child. Sammy calls Michael out bc he was privileged bc of his step dad. He never had to get his hands dirty. He was kept away from that. They Michael focus on business and earning.
This is hands down the best content i've ever seen of the mob life, Sammy was wound up tight. I'm surprised Michael stayed so calm. Great video, well done.

And followed by saying he's not going to say something that will put him in jail because he had no immunity (Unlike Sammy because he's an actual informant/rat.) Bottomline, Michael is just as capable of killing Sammy as Sammy is of killing Michael. Michael is NOT scared of Sammy and its clear by the way he speaks to Sammy and never once backs down from him.
@@ibrown3KC Sammy is 80 and michael is what in his late 60's? what is there to be scared of? they aren't killers anymore they're old guys, and who cares if Michael killed anyone or not? that doesn't make him tough, what makes him look soft is that he got anywhere only because of his father, not by any personal balls/talent/skills.
Sammy lurched at Mike and Mike didn’t even move...his intimidation act didn’t work. Sam can’t live with the fact that he ratted, so he wants everyone else to be as guilty as he is. He is an old man and still hasn’t matured mentally...sad.
Amazing how Sammy is calling Michael a rat when the only rat is him! Michael's testimony only implicated himself. He never gave up anyone! And Noone went to jail because of him!
I love the way Michael conducts himself, his Charisma shines through! If you got on the wrong side of Sammy back in the day I'd say there was no way out! You were done!
Yeah, Sammy knows he’s the real rat and his inability to control himself at the end shows he’s angry that everyone sees him that way. He came off looking really bad it’s kind of pathetic.
I can respect Michael Franchese infinitely more than Sammy. Sammy's got cognitive dissonance. He seems to think he's still a made guy but at the same time thinks he's got the moral high-ground because he admits he's a rat. Crazy.
He just wants to be on the same level and he would be if you asked Sonny. You cooperate = you are a rat. Michael's excuse is no one went to jail, but he tried to put Norby in. Norby got out on a technicality, nothing to do with Michael ratting badly. He ratted perfectly.
a while back, michael mentioned in one of his videos that his father said about sammy, "stay away from that guy, don't ever have anything to do with him". pretty telling.
@@F28aj Oh you know Sonny? Sonny knows Sammy's type as do I, the type that is far from being as intelligent as they think they are. Yeah Sammy spent the whole time trying to bring Michael down in one way or another. Seems Sammy doesn't like Michael is considered the only guy to get out and not rat. Especially considering Sammy thinks of himself a harden killer and acts like he's a honrable mobster. Him calling someone a rat is to much🤣🤣
Michaels point was he ratted, but with him ratting on himself, didn’t bring anyone else down with him. Sammies point is that he wants Michael to admit he ratted, but Sammie only ratted cuz that’s all he could do. It was either take the fall and spend his life in jail for a guy that betrayed him, or cooperate. So I get both sides. I would’ve done the same in the same circumstances of both men.
Michael did rat though. He met with them government and got someone locked up who got off on a technicality. And you don’t think by him talking about what he did with Norby shed light on other people who got locked up due to his talks?

Period.

He's always painted as being totally honorable in the face of deceit and betrayal. In every story, he's painted as the omnipotent purveyor of morality and honesty in a sea of animals. And we all do that--make ourselves a good guy in every story from our lives. But considering his life, how can that actually be?

He didn’t. But him and his pops are right. 1 minute after a crime is done, you don’t know nothing
He accidentally said he did? I don't think he killed anyone personally just assisted. I dont know
If Michael has done it , there's no "honor" for him to proclaim he did, rather it gets the indictment falling on him.
For Sammy it's different he already admitted the murders he did to get released from the prison !!!
The Judiciary apparently privileges some and prejudices some others.
So Sammy be trying to jab Michael's pride to get Michael admit something to get him indicted and then go out saying :" we played chess and I checkmated him"
"Never try to prove yourselves to the pigs 🐖🐖🐖🐖 and in this case rats 🐁🐀🐁🐀 like Gravano"
He literally didn’t murder anyone 😂 what are you even talking about
Sammy made is bones on killing, physical intimidation. Michael spent his time racketeering. mentally intimidating people and making them think they want to work with the mob
Have a look at frank culotta videos very good
whats michael gonna do?
@@JayJay-hg3ut bro was in the mob to! He can do damage if he has to. But he’s a very very intelligent person! Sammy is tough but he’s the one who ratted
@@MohamedMohamed-xd5df if sammy didn't talk, would we have enjoyed the podcast?
Michael is on a whole different level than Sammy. Sammy knows it and he hates Michael for being better at the life. Sammy never would have gone as far as Michael. Sammy is always comparing himself to Michael because he's insecure.
So True!
Sammy would have whacked sonny if he ever would have had the chance. But with all the money sonny was bringing in the bossses would have killed Sammy b4 he got the chance
I more so think he just dislikes how Michael separates his cooperating from others in mob life
Sammy was getting lots of money in his prime too
Mad insecure
Michael is a ceo , sammy as much as i like him is a chequers player trying to play chess
Grew up around Mafioso in New Jersey. When i was kid late 90s and early 2000s. My father brought me to a mob boss pool party for the family cookout. My mother is Italian. My father Irish.
Sammy calling somebody a Rat is the epitome of Irony 😂
That's what's crazy lol
Two old timers trying to live in the past to get attention. Clowns like this is why the mafia crumbled. Remember peeps, they ALL talk! It makes for great movies and shows but there is no honor and loyalty in the mob.
@@kevinmcclintock5492 definitely none when the likes of Sammy got in. That’s why it went down
@@kevinmcclintock5492 true. Sammy is the worse. Straight rat
@@lukeneill1568 I agree.
Sammy seems very jelous of michaels achivements in life.Michael out foxed him in life.
Without a doubt Mr. Franzese is a very smart fox and levels above Gravano.
Lol. Thats your inturpatation of this? Sammy is not jealous hes just a gangster who thinks micheal did not put his time in and got certain privileges for being sonny's kid and got ahead of guys waiting years to be made
@@Angrykat420 Smart move by Sonny Franzese. Donny Brasco never killed anyone either and was 6 months from being a made guy. Look how well michael has done for himself in life.Sammy is all balls and no brains.
@@Angrykat420 that's where your wrong sammy isnt a gangster anymore he needs to realise that and micheal became made bc he was a great earner and a hard worker
@@theavalonking3882 never said it wasnt smart. I am just stating why sammy doesn't like micheal
Michael as a gentlemen showed so much class and patience. Sammy was well Sammy .
There’s no such thing as a gentleman in the mafia.
Neither one are in the "life" anymore.
@@dalehood1846 once a piece a shit always a piece a shit.these are bad people glorified by Hollywood and the media.
Michael never had to get his hands dirty like sammy or work a single day in his fkn life so you can cut that argument the fk out right now. Sammy was down in the ditches with the blood and guts you got no idea. Sammy had been shot up and bleeding and in fist fights and everything. Michael knows he can't hold a flame to Sammy regardless
@@rw7269 well it’s more gentlemen than gangsters now and then, I can tell you that
The cinematography, the place, the setup is top notch! Then comes the content 🔥
Wtf is Sammy's problem? Does he feel guilty for ratting so he has to project his insecurities on Mike?
Exactly. And Add a little jealously..
Psychopaths operate on a different level.
sure seems like it, and saying Michael did'nt earn his promotion and falls back on its all because of Sonny. Sammy wants to be the only Gangster, wiseguy, hitman, and everything else. Worse Patrick is the only one cashing in on this! thats a sin.
Michael is more patient then I would have been with some things Sammy was saying. He has great restraint.
Oh Yeah Over Patient!!
He's still scared of Sammy. Sammy is a killer, and Michael isn't.
@@justinthealpha6710 I really don't think he's scared of Sammy. I guarantee Michael had to kill to become made, he just doesn't talk about it. He said, "When I took that oath, I earned it." And followed by saying he's not going to say something that will put him in jail because he had no immunity (Unlike Sammy because he's an actual informant/rat.) Bottomline, Michael is just as capable of killing Sammy as Sammy is of killing Michael.
@@koogle Where were you during all this? You seem to know quite alot about Michael.
Sammy lurched at Mike and Mike didn’t even move...his intimidation act didn’t work. Sam can’t live with the fact that he ratted, so he wants everyone else to be as guilty as he is. He is an old man and still hasn’t matured mentally...sad.
He did actually move. Just saying ...
I mean he’s 76 (he’s been in prison most of his life ) and has the mentality of a 30 year old so please
This production is amazing.
The wind in the background is making this even more monumental 🔥
The way Sam is fishing….he makes me feel like he still has a wire on. 😂
he never wore a wire tho lol
I was looking for this comment 😂
💯💯💯😆😆
hes definitely wearing a wire
No he just wants Michael to expose himself he doesn’t need a wire its being recorded on the internet lol
Amazing how Sammy is calling Michael a rat when the only rat is him! Michael's testimony only implicated himself. He never gave up anyone! And Noone went to jail because of him!
Sammy feels left out, he wants Michael to go through the same but Michael got lucky
Actually Michael testified and what he said was used against him
Rats 🐀 🐀 like that don’t survive south of the border .
Does seem weird though that he can testify against nobody and still have reduction on his sentence. Im no expert and im not in the know how.
@@antoniobanderas9769 true
Only Patrick is able to pull off something like this. Awesome!!!
I love the way Michael conducts himself, his Charisma shines through! If you got on the wrong side of Sammy back in the day I'd say there was no way out! You were done!
Even though Sammy says he don't resent Michael being a made man I believe deep down that he does
According to the rules of Cosa Nostra, Sammy lost the sit down when he got up at the end of the video threatening to come across the table.
Yeah, Sammy knows he’s the real rat and his inability to control himself at the end shows he’s angry that everyone sees him that way. He came off looking really bad it’s kind of pathetic.
Sammy’s been known to be real calm during his “gangster” days, this Sammy’s more wild that’s for sure, but it could be for entertainment.
@@jfuentss I think they knew they needed a "blow up" for the previews.
@@BornIn1500 yup, nailed it bro.
probably for a teaser and entertainment, but if it were to happen, Michael would mop the floor with Sam.
This host is the best I've seen!
I can respect Michael Franchese infinitely more than Sammy. Sammy's got cognitive dissonance. He seems to think he's still a made guy but at the same time thinks he's got the moral high-ground because he admits he's a rat. Crazy.
Hypocrisy at it's finest.
Sammy's a sociopath. Very smart and dangerous.
Still love his channel though.
He just wants to be on the same level and he would be if you asked Sonny. You cooperate = you are a rat. Michael's excuse is no one went to jail, but he tried to put Norby in. Norby got out on a technicality, nothing to do with Michael ratting badly. He ratted perfectly.
Why y’all picking and choose huh
a while back, michael mentioned in one of his videos that his father said about sammy, "stay away from that guy, don't ever have anything to do with him". pretty telling.
Lol coming from sonny franzese that's quite the hypocritical statement
Sammy murders the English language. That's his worst crime!
@@F28aj Oh you know Sonny? Sonny knows Sammy's type as do I, the type that is far from being as intelligent as they think they are. They form scenarios that they think are true, their mind can't fathom all possibilities and their ego (and ignorance) causes them to think everything they come up with in their head is the absolute truth. They'll never see the truth or never accept it. they get angry and "gaslight". Sonny was right to tell him that and it was not a "hypocritical statement". Open your mind a bit...
Sonny was correct. He put over 45 men in prison for very long prison terms.
@@F28aj except sammy killed everybody he went into business with for their share of the prophets. and we already knew that sonny was a gangster too, thanks. don't be dense.
Sammy cant get over the fact he actually got hella people locked up who died in prisons while michael has always had more money an respected in a better way an didnt do the shit he did to his so called friends an loved ones
That's what I was wondering how tf he gonna call someone a rat lmao
Mikes a rat as well
