For real. I assume u ment chump. I dunno if Micheal got anyone time in jail but I know for sure a bunch of guys did life behind what Sammy said. Sammy really looks like a foolish child in this fight. Micheal Is in a whole new life and has moved on an prospered . Sammy doesn't seem to like it.
Look I prefer to listen to Micheal, he’s far more articulated and intelligent and though neither of them are “authentic” in regards to honesty, Michaels stories at least line up with the truth better. But I don’t deny that hat Sammy has some of the most killer lines I’ve ever heard 😂
Bullshit. Michael brings up respect on the street, then asks Sammy what he did on the street, then frames him as a bragging thug for answering his question. He was playing dirty because he was scared. Calls him a clown when he doesn't know how to reply. I don't know how they talked before this started but at the beginning of the video Micheal is already pissed and Sammy let's him let's him finish even when "finishing" means that Michael goes back to something he already said. He lead the conversation where it went and decided whether he let's Sammy talk or not. And he's the more established charismatic guy that most people are rooting for anyway. Sammy has written rat all over him and he doesn't deny that. Micheal on the other hand is playing two brands. One side of the medal is the real gangster who didn't brake the old code and the other is the reborn christian who doesn't brake the new code. Micheal pretends that he never broke with the old way and Sammy has a problem with that because it's not true. Micheal has to bring up that he didn't put anyone in jail or some other stuff to brush over the fact that he did cooperate. And he wants to brush over it hard wich makes him look dishonest wich also effects his new brand. If Micheal actually repented and came clean about everything he would loose his reputation and business on both sides.
Franzese has 2 different modes, the calm cool collected guy, and then the "you want to talk business, ok we're gonna talk business" mode. This was a great show.
@@colinmclaughlin9047 what did he get caught lying about? I want facts not opinions! Sammy seems to be the one lying and before you say Michael didn’t say what he did or went into detail he can’t he’s not protected by the GOVERNMENT!
It is amazing to see and realize how quickly a man who has changed his life and found happiness can be dragged back into the dark side by a simple confrontation. A guy like Sammy, who has not changed at all, is misery and as you can see, misery loves company. He sucked Micheal right back into the mud and pulled out that demon that still sits in him. I am the same way and fight those demons daily.
Michael really gained my respect by keeping it real and not letting anyone talk down to him. I think because he's religious and soft spoken, people think he's a push over. This video showed why he became a successful mobster: he's not having it with anybody. 👏👏
Yeah, I don't think anyone makes it as a capo in the mob while being a pushover, he seems nice now, but i bet if someone had to get whacked back in the day, this dude wouldn't even bat an eye.
Sammy’s anger comes from the fact that he put dozens, literally dozens of men behind bars, not just Gotti like he always talks about. Michael was known for leaving the life, not being a snitch because like he made it clear, he never put a single person behind bars and that’s matter of record. For people to think Michael didn’t put in work on the streets before he became made is laughable, he just can’t talk about it like Sammy can because he snitched and has immunity, Michael doesn’t. After Michael started making big money, why would he still want to be putting in work like that? It would take a psychopath like Sammy was to still want to do those kind of things for fun when it wasn’t needed. Anybody can find a trigger guy on the streets but finding someone who brought in the type of money Michael brought in for the family was near impossible.
Nobody that has testified for the government against La COSA Nostra should even mention John Gotti. He lived the life and kept his mouth shut. He honored the oath. I gotta respect that.
@@thomasedwards7315 the Ndrangheta , Camorra clans of Sicily to name a couple. You will never see them flashy..Gotti's ego was his demise. Especially a boss.. Since the Rico was implemented, most sing like a bird.. Italy a bit different, more ruthless they will kill your family if you cooperate.
Michael's info was used to convict Frank Campione so that's not entirely true, but Sammy helped convict Gotti and 38 others. The difference I see is Michael can't seem to admit it.
Michael Franzese was a family guy, a business man, Sammy murdered 19 people, and became known as a rat. Sammy The Bull was a mad dog who killed for his own benefit, he betrayed his mafia family, friends, With Gravano’s testimony the FBI had enough evidence to convict Teflon Don, Gotti, along with nearly 40 other mobsters. Michael Franzese turned his life around, did his time and was rehabilitated back into society, a productive member of the community, Sammy is still a person out for himself and doesn't care who he runs over or treads down.
Daniel, the crucial evidence that convicted Gotti was his own BIG MOUTH on tape! Sammy provided the necessary legal corroboration. He put the flesh on the bones (no pun)!
Plus…it’s not like Organized Crime attracts Ivy League types….except for a select few, most mobsters are basically morons and low IQ types, let alone psychos and sociopaths…

Never thought I’d live to see this LOL.
I don’t know any of the facts... but,,,,,Funny how michael keeps changing Sammy’s accusation bout getting people convicted.. to spending time in jail.... as Sammy said... how much time they did is up to the judge (and wasn’t the point he was making)
@@kezf9846 Did you see the whole thing? Michael eventually got frustrated and said what’s already on public record that when he was put on the stand he had no knowledge about anything that was going on and was held in solitary for doing so. Gravano was smarter and alot richer than Gotti. That’s why John died in prison and Gravano lived life after prison. The only reason Gotti had any pull was because he okayed the killings of guys above him and he filmed the vacuum. He was loud and flashy. That’s about it. His closest friend, Angelo, was caught on tape yapping his mouth just like Gotti. Brought the whole show down.
I don’t think we’ve ever had this kinda inside access to the mob life than this. We’ve never seen two legit mobsters arguing about past alleged grievances, witsec, and other gangsters fed time and crimes. They’re arguing so candidly and openly. We’ve never had this inside look.
This is actually fascinating because you can see their personalities reflected their exact position in the Mafia. Both of them were perfect for the roles they were in.
If Mike cooperated with the government and got off scott free how does that equal no one he testified against never went to jail that really doesn’t make sense to me at all.
@@albundy7198 He cooperated with the government in his own investigation and went to jail for 9(?) years, but there is no evidence that he ever informed on his peers.

Bro this is legendary. Safe to say these guys won the internet for the rest of the month. It’s easy to see now how guys in the mob got killed. All it takes is one guy to get his ego hurt just a bit for something that was misconstrued.
Misconstrued yes but it also comes down to reputation. People were calling Sammy about what Michael was saying online, but if it werent for that Sammy wouldnt have said anything. Alot of people took those bargains back in the day, they had no choice.
Two 70+ year old former mafia guy's arguing on UA-cam over public info is very funny. And Sammy was clearly trolling Michael about his lack of street activity. And the funniest part of all is when Michael said,Stop the Bologna and Sammy asked,Who in the mafia says that,Stop The Bologna,Only people that graduated Harvard says that.If u couldn't find some humor in the sit down,it's your loss.
Nothing but respect to Michael for handling this the way you did. You can tell even tho that life will always be a part of him, he’s truly a changed man.
I do hope it is a true conversion. Certain things bother me, however. Sammy had a point that he wouldn’t come out and say what he did. The Bible says to confess our sins to one another. Though that is in the context of the church. He also has several videos out talking about what he did. The other thing is that if Sammy’s whole point is that he essentially ratted then he’s right. Michael may not be wrong when he says that none of his testimony’s resulted in anyone doing time, but he cannot deny being a “rat”. If Michaels intent is to obfuscate responsibility and to bend the truth to make himself look better then it’s essentially a lie. Sammy, I think, just wasn’t making his points well
@@ThinkFaster66 Yeah, Sammy didn't make his points well, but Michael was also yelling over him the whole time so it's not like he had much of a chance, right? Kinda bad showing on both sides honestly.

@Beaverish Buck Teeth how do you know? were you in the mafia with him? how do you know he didn't kill anyone? of course he will say no to save his ass and not have cops investigating. why on earth would you implicate yourself like that? not only that do you think having "dozens if bodies" is cool?
He was asked to take the blame for shit he wasn't involved in when Gotti was caught blabbering on a wire tap basically spilling the beans. Sammy done what anyone would of in that situation. He was cosa nostra Gotti is to blame for the fall of the Gambinos.
I traveled to Italy once and participated on a management meeting for Unilever Italy. This scene is exactly how that morning meeting went. I swear to god I was thinking they gonna bash each other's face in but as soon as the meeting was over they just went out had coffee and chatted like nothing happened in there. Italians are something different. :D
I've met a few Italians and always found them to be really interesting and who love a good conversation. They know their history and are rightly proud of their heritage.
Back in the days these two men would put hits out on each other after an argument like this. Nowadays they will just unfollow each other on social media.
both of these guys were respected, that being said you should be careful what you say about another member and the implications that maybe made from what you say.
Sammy got heated when Michael said he didn't have a leg to stand on because he knows Michael is right. Sammy ratted out the whole Gambino family, what's he thinking bringing up Norby Walters. The problem is Sammy sometimes forgets he's one of the biggest snitches in the history of the mafia, I understand it was Gotti's fault they were indicted but he still did what he did, he doesn't have a leg to stand on here.
Exactly. He also still thinks he's in the mafia and is still a tough guy. That's why he manufactured this whole argument, it was either trying to prove he's still a tough guy or to build publicity for the documentary. He should be having these heated arguments with John Alite if he still wants heat. Franzese is a religious man in his 70s with a family.
Franzese is the best! I give him props for trying to not use vulgarity for as long as he did, but when you're arguing with someone who is dead-set against you, using profanity towards you the whole time, it's hard to not use it back.
This is no different than people in the bar referencing what they used to do back in highschool. They're both in their 70s mouthing off over the second screen. I know they looked back after this sit down & felt embarrassed. Both men were respected on the streets for the roles they played. Sammy the gangster & Michael the racketeer. They were in the same life but played two different roles to their families. It's foolish to try to invalidate one another knowing that everything being said can be backed up given that the vast majority is a matter of public record. They let their emotions get the best of them here.
Sammy just felt slighted and wanted Michael to feel the same level of embarrassment for all the high and mighty talking he does. Sammy is very good at setting people off 😅
You're right, Chiseled... But it sure was entertaining. And 30 years ago if this fight happened... Wow... The bosses would've had to force them to stop and make up... like they were kids. Ha! Because they were both earners and the mob wouldn't need them fighting over school yard shit. But it was pretty funny when Franzese said to Sammy... who ever heard of you. Oh, c'mon Michael... Sammy was in the NY media for years every day. There were columns dedicated strictly to mob news. That's how much bigger the mob was back then. I was a 13-year-old when Sammy and John were busted together in the end of 1990... Even I knew who both of them were. They were about the #1 and #2 most well known mobsters in the entire NY mob at that time... Though that was all John's fault for putting mob life on full blast like a dope. But I digress.

This is prime entertainment. Sammy completely ego driven and Michael trying to make it make sense. Absolutely amazing.

But I digress.
spot on I stopped watching it after 4.19 I can't be arsed with all that arguing shit they're both straight now (supposedly) so why they still acting like they're still on the Streets it's pointless!!
I just commented on this, two high ranking mafia members arguing on UA-cam 😅😅
