There is so many red flags in the way she grew this business. How come she started with only $300 dollars, she had and still is having issues with the manufacturing, only getting 5% back but her business has made millions of dollars thus far.
She wouldn't be there if she didn't need an experienced business partner. They knew the money would be mainly be used for thr red flags (the clog in inventory/manufacturing). She felt sick because Kendra already offered her a better deal…. Why would she unnecessarily half her value? Mr wonderful offering the same for 15% makes sense as he’s in the industry but Barbara just made the deal look stupid
In this case, it was blatantly obvious that the girl hated the deals she was getting. You did not have to be female to notice That being said females are biologically better at reading covert communication. They can read subtle cues in body language, words, phrasing, tone and tell how you feel. Being the weaker sex, they had to for survival purposes, among other reasons. What people call female intuition is really just an enhanced ability to read body language and decipher the situation, better than males.

@@flashpointprdx they don’t care because ‘girl power’…
So she sells dollar store undies for $20 a pop and has only made $150,000 out of 3 million in sales. I'M OUT
Sharks are so smart.. they don't go out when the sales are stunning.. sales is everything.. if she's not profitable.. she needs help with the logistics and management aka she needs a shark .. it's a good deal
How do you trust someone who:
1) lowered her original offer after hearing another who offered less
2) couldn’t do basic math (500K for 10% and no to 350 for 10%)
3) is so fickle
I love when people come in and know what Shark they’re after
My hopes were so high when Barbara threw in a deal. You’ll get em next time Barb. Or not…
😂😂
Literally you can sell anything to people in the name of women empowerment. 😂😂
Yuh and what about it
@@alexiakavors7540 it's a fad, it's not sustainable. More than likely that's the problem.

Barbara: “I’m in, and for that reason, I’m out”
"I can't see myself in these and for that reason. I'm out" Kevin, probably
Barbara: I pretend like I care about minorities and for that reason I’m out
This truly shows what a pathetic culture we have.
Elaborate

True
I noticed that they started uploading how shark tank Australia does, like full clips(great) 🔥
I like how Kevin is like, "How do I even wear this" when he was opening the product
Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see why anyone would buy several pairs of underwear a month.
It's not you lol. I could see myself buying several pairs of underwear a month for a short period only if I were completely revamping my wardrobe for some reason, but even then wouldn't turn to a subscription service for that. Maybe her schtick was that people would jut pay $20 once for 4 pairs, then cancel afterward. Watching this show has made me realize that there are huge markets for way more useless things (to me at least) than I ever thought possible.
You obv aren't crapping your pants enough.
That’s what I’m saying. I got the same pack of Walmart underwear from 5 years ago. Still look new.
Agree...
Thank you! I was wondering the same, I didn't quite understand the idea at first, your comment clarified my doubt.
2:03 LMAO Kevin looking like that at those undies ROFLd me
I’m so glad she made a deal. She has a passion for this.
I don't know how but Barbara as she gets older she looks like Le Chiffre from James Bond Casino Royale 😂😂😂🤣
Lol
wow u nailed it
Honestly it sounds like she’s the middle man, she’s learning from Dundee Mifflin Paper company. Got to love the Office 🤣
Kevin O'Leary saying: I wanted to have a piece of the bootay 🤣🤣🤣
I was surprised and felt sorry for her when Kendra withdrew her first offer and moved in with Barbara,,but really glad when kendra regain her senses and put forth her original offer
Also just wondering, why is starting a business with $300 a red flag? There's no perfect formula to start a business (yes there are strategies that help) but being able to start a business that generates millions in revenue from 300 doesn't sound like a bad thing, instead all the more impressive
Kendra literally started hers with $500 and says it in the video
That is probably why she’s asking for money and support from the sharks? She is having some trouble. This is the reality of solo entrepreneurs
@@aadipatel3086 i think the red flag is specifically HOW she started her business. selling clearance underwear for like triple the price is pretty scummy, not gonna lie lol.
It sounded like there were missing pieces in her story. She said her family are entrepreneurs Very likely they already had connections set for her. She just sold it as if she did it off $300 and by herself.
Life always baffles me
So many ppl struggle and work their asses off to provide for their families, spouses, etc. Only wanting for things to work out in the end and for them to have a little money to save up
And then sometimes the privileged r the ones that r blessed with a handout or are given all the help they need, and end up reaping the benefits
Life is strange.
20 dollars for 4 pairs? Yeah, something's gotta be really fishy somewhere for this to be happening. And the way she started her bussines was basically scamming people into buying discounted resold underwear. Funny how this is praised if it is followed by succes but frowned upon if its not.
She ain’t scamming lol. $22 for a 2 pairs of underwear and I’m an Aussie. I bet u are from America where the currency is a lot lower compared to here. That’s a good price
@@briellaanderson1296 im from romania where the currency is way lower than both australia and the us. And im pretty sure they were talking us dollars not aud
@@codybolo7803 she wasn’t scamming people lol, she was drop shipping, and then decided to pivot to building her own brand. Many people drop ship using Amazon. The fact that she turned a 1 person drop shipping operation into a multi million dollar company and independent brand is incredible.
To get the bras along with it, that’s a set!! Here in America I couldn’t find one pair of actual undies for less than $15… and that’s not even going for the good brands, that’s on clearance😅
Also look at a business like Fenty, people are willing to pay those insane amounts just cause of the person who owns it!
@@codybolo7803 well im glad to debunk your doubts and introduce you to something called drop shipping. Happens millions of times a day, not scamming. She is simply asking for support to switch from a solo drop shipping hustle to a business company that produces and sells.
Finally some Shark Tank episodes that are keeping up with the real online trends out there
Mark's reaction to holding a g-string is funny asl 😂😂
‘ funny asl?’ What the hell does that mean?
Fast fashion cheaply produced by harming workers and the environment - yeah you really should be proud, girl.
but muh gurl power
I sincerely hope you walk or use a horse to commute to every location you need to go to, own a mud house with no AC, and collect rain water for bathing and cooking
And what brands do you buy? Hmmm?
Girl boss!!!!
Thats what they all do. Theyre capitalists.
Kendra: Ellie, I. LOVE YOU.
Ellie: *whole face lights up* omg cool 😆, I love you too!~
What a genuine moment of sheer joy ❤️

The sharks almost gave a standing ovation. I could feel it. $300 to $15 million in sales. Wow! This is amazing.
I screenrecorded Mark’s ‘congratulations’, I will play it every time I did something-great or small. ❤
What a smart move by Kendra. She would be the perfect business partner. Kendra just snatched the deal from Barbara no I would say "seized" it.
Smart move my butt. She could’ve had the same equity for 350k if she accepted the 700k for 20 percent counter offer with Barbara. They quickly said no and she ended up paying 150k more for the equity she got. Matter fact if she said 500k for 13% the chick would’ve accepted cause she originally wanted her from the start.
Makes me feel like going to all the clearance sections and start selling !
what's interesting is how some women are better at reading body language. I didn't get that sense at all the offer for 20% was making feel sick based on how her facial reaction. I just figured she was negotiation for a better deal like most entrepreneurs do.
You did not have to be female to notice
That being said females are biologically better at reading covert communication. They can read subtle cues in body language, words, phrasing, tone and tell how you feel. Being the weaker sex, they had to for survival purposes, among other reasons.
What people call female intuition is really just an enhanced ability to read body language and decipher the situation, better than males.
@@HowTwo007 well I didn't see it and I am man, so maybe in my case I am just bad at reading body language.
no i just think you weren't paying attention, its very obvious she didnt like it

Barbra: I love ur business, ur making money, but I gotta walk my dog tomorrow so I’m out

Barbara: “You’re a not a man, so for that reason im in”
for a segment so focused on bashing men, it feels like Kendra could/should have mentioned how men saved her entire business in 2009 when she nearly had to shut everything down during the financial crisis...until the (MEN) at Nordstrom decided to place a large enough order to save her. But somehow she forgot to mention that with all their ranting about "evil men". lmao, just throwing that out there.
Yea men get the shade but we run the show, we own the game. we make money off women like this. Look at their absurd miscalculation at the valuation. Not only that, this "entrepreneur" is making nothing while shes getting other men RICH LOL.
She was genuine. She makes a ton of sales and most of it goes to manufacturer/middle men. Its a win win for shark and her (y)
Kendra scott has the most creepiest smile ever,.. no way she smiled like that before all that money…
Barbara - “ I’m already wearing underwear, and for that reason I’m out “
The way Kevin looked at it😂😂😂😂🤣
This episode really epitomizes the girl power movement! 😂. After all the praises, then came to cutthroat and the betrayal.😂😂😂
That woman was truly gifted. Brain + energy + good taste all in one. She’ll go places.
