- My washing machine would fill and spin but not agitate so my clothes were not getting clean. With a little investigation and research online, I determined I need to replace my Agitator Coupler. In this video I will show you how I fixed it without spending much money.
Our washing machine broke and my do it your self dad didn't know what to replace so he told me to pull up the youtubes and boom we found this video and now it's good as new. Thanks so much the clarity and easy to follow format made it a quick fix ☺

I cant believe how easily the cup came off for you. I got the agitator and cup bolt off with little effort. The cup itself only comes up a centimeter. Its completely stuck. Ive pryed and beat on the sides and sand and rocks are falling out but the cup just wont move. Any suggestions?
Did you solve this? I have the same problem. Theres not a single video to help on a stuck one. im thinking of chiseling mine out.
@@Daehawk yes I did. I used wd40 with the straw and put it anywhere I could. I let it sit overnight and the next day I put rope under the cup and up around a 2×4. Lifted the 2×4 and it finally popped right off. I beat it with a sledge hammer for 3 days and all it needed was a soak with wd40 and some leverage. Good luck!

I've been working on fixing this issue, already got the parts required, when I went to take off the agitator coupler it wouldn't come after I removed the bolt. Tried removing calcium build up with clr but still won't come off. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Ended up carefully cutting off the old part.

I swear every video there is on this the couple just lifts off. Not mine. That sob refuses to budge after pulling, plyering, prying, hammering, cussing, and taking a hammer and screwdriver to it and tearing parts off it..its STILL stuck like its welded. Ive busted my hands and knuckles so much they have been a mess for 2 weeks. Ive tried for over a month to remove it. Worst part is theres no way to get a grip on it. i CANT FIX MY WASHER. So annoying.

Do you need to grease the shaft? I took cupler off and there is some grease on the shaft. Not sure if i should clean that off or leave it greased.

@@TheWstephanie7890 there was no grease under the cupler, it was all gunk build up.
About the gearbox wh38x10002 it not available in all word so there is spare part of the gear like the shaft and the shifter for the top and rear of the gear the seals i found in ebay but the shift and shifter until now i dont now eny online shop buy it this washer is like a gold if you lost it you will be sorry please if you found the shift and shifter give me a link
You literally showed everything but the part on how to actually take the whole agitator thing out... the only thing I can't figure out. Do you just pull it out??? It doesn't just pull out..
